Gear that only drops from 1 mob, but has the same slots and worse stats compared to gear of the SAME LEVEL that drops from MULTIPLE? Very questionable decisions. Blindly making things untradeable or nerfing them yeah no. But, I think some over all tweaks for the better wouldn't be too crazy. -Patch by Patch would definitely speed up dev cycle a bit I think. Will consider looking into that after data sheets are finished. -Auction House + FM. Auction House sales + searches semi-limited. 100 / day each, but you can pay a fee to an NPC to get more if needed. FM stores act as a way to have "de-regulated" local merch-ing. Social hub aspect kept if things go well. These would have 16 slots to sell items in compared to the AH's 4. More details once I get to that point of coding them in. -MVP does seem reasonable to give thanks to big spenders. Will need to weigh them out to avoid feeling too p2w though. -Meso Market is something I'm not too familiar with, but does seem p2w at first glance + would avoid implementing until the overall server is out a while and bots are taken care of as best as possible to avoid it instantly destroying the economy. Might consider some other form of currency instead of Maple Points / NX; Reward Coins is probably fair if wanting to have the pay to get meso aspect. But, something like Gach Tickets that drop from mobs as the currency would let you have either the RNG roll on Gach OR fuel to send into the Meso Market to get tangible cash back with less of a gamble. Which might make for an interesting balance of Risk vs Reward play. While still being a gamble in itself as the value of Gach Tickets would likely fluctuate on their own. Mind you; this would mean that they'd be untradeable otherwise, and this runs into the weird situation that they could've just been normal tradeable items, and now they just have a special trade slot not tied to FM / AH. Will ponder this system. -FULL AP/SP Resets were noted down in my notes forever ago. Will have to reconsider things though. While I could add single stat resets no problem; I was thinking of shattering HP Resetting to begin with in favor of adding HP/MP elsewhere. Primarily to preserve integrity if / when I add in a class like Demon Avenger that uses HP as its main stat. Which would be broken through being able to HP Wash surely. Had planned to change it so that your HP / MP gain a set amount of HP based on current level determined by HP/MP Boost's skill level. This way you'd get more the higher your level still, but it wouldn't have the bug that enables HP washing. Might be a bummer that you can't whale for progress, but I'm not against trying to find new ways to do so that isn't as controversial of a practice. -Was planning for all cash items to have a 2 versions. 90d / Perm. Keep players within the same server this way, and items that are tradeable/untradeable to begin stay in tact if you don't choose to go this route. -SF, Potentials, Etc. can be left to modern GMS. While I personally enjoy Potentials; the simpler aspect of OSMS should be respected, and maintained. New systems should be brought up for community voting after the prime updates conclude. Custom areas / content should be fine so long as they're implemented based *around* the OSMS state. Not direct power creep every update. It's been a ride; always enjoy your content, and hope to keep seeing more for whatever time we have left. Whether it's 5 minutes or many years. Appreciate you and the community.
