Suing them would have only given him money, which he was not in dire need of. Also, a court case would have had a negative impact on his children as the adultry of their mother and the truth of their parentage would been made public. And suing them would not have made them feel his pain. OP needed them to have something dear to them taken away, just like they took away his woman and his family. Those are my thoughts, anyway.

I read this story on Reddit. I didn't believe the story then, and I still don't believe it. Also, its a herd of horses, not a pack. If this story was true, and those horses really were hurt, I would have hunted OP down myself because tamed, farm born and raised horses released to the wild would not survive on their own. Also, horses aren't like cats that can hide under a car. I'm pretty sure a herd of horses showing up oit of nowhere would certainly be notice, and the horses would be marked with the owners information.

OP needs to find some way to make sure those horses are okay. domesticated animals do not have an easy time returning to the wild unless that area has a herd already which might give the animals a chance as "man" we taught those animals they can rely upon us for food, shelter, and care and it's our job to make sure to keep that implied promise. Seriously folks make sure people know it's not okay to just shove an animal out of your home or take them to a country road and release them- most don't make it in the wild. Shelters get a bad rap for tough choices but at least there is a higher chance of the animal being rehomed if you place your pet there.

OP went too far. I lost count of the potential crimes he admitted to in his quest for revenge. If his brothers find that post and hire a good lawyer, he could face several years in jail and/or pay potentially millions in compensation. I really hope this one is fake.

It’s a shame op couldn’t figure out other ways to get revenge. Burning down his brothers business I would think could still get him thrown in jail if anyone figures out it was him. Plus the horses, to bad he just couldn’t give them away instead of setting them free. Otherwise everyone got what was coming to them.

Can understand that op was very up set. But breaking the law is not the way to get justice for what happened to him. I would have told them that You were going to sued them and mess their life’s up or they could pay me a butt load of money. Then divorce her and take the kids. As for the horses, I don't think what OP did was that bad. He let them go free in the wild as nature intended them to be. It's not like he had them ground up and sold to Micky D's... But it did serve the purpose of taking away what he loved most. I personally don't believe in revenge, but I do understand it.

OP needs to find some way to make sure those horses are okay. domesticated animals do not have an easy time returning to the wild unless that area has a herd already which might give the animals a chance as "man" we taught those animals they can rely upon us for food, shelter, and care and it's our job to make sure to keep that implied promise. Seriously folks make sure people know it's not okay to just shove an animal out of your home or take them to a country road and release them- most don't make it in the wild. Shelters get a bad rap for tough choices but at least there is a higher chance of the animal being rehomed if you place your pet there.
OP, your brothers can not be described. Who sleeps with brother's wife. Burning down the building was a big risk. I'm glad no one was physically hurt. Drugging the horses was a bit too much. Then abandoning them in the wild was cruel to the horses. They had never had to fend for themselves their whole life. You actually were more cruel to the horses than the brother. I'm glad you told your SIL about the cheating so she would not be blindsided. Your wife was a ho from the floor up. Protect the children for they are innocent in all this.
I understand getting revenge but that was too much regarding the horses. That was just foul. Like I tell people on here and on Reddit, I truly understand that sometimes you gotta take the low road but there's always a limit when going that route so tread carefully when doing so as some things will get you locked up if you go too far.
I feel Op went a bit overboard on his revenge. His brothers slept with his wife was sinful but burning a warehouse and drugging and stealing another brother's horses was shameful. He should have waited to expose the betrayal of his wife and his three brothers should have been enough revenge. And at the divorce trial Op should seek custody of the kids and make his brothers and ex wife pay him child support.

Okay I understand that OP needed some kind of justice. But destroying his brothers was way overboard. When he ruined his brothers warehouse he didn't just affect his brother but the clients that were waiting on the product. Drugging and setting the horses free to fend for themselves after being catered to their whole life is a form of animal abuse. Involving the SIL in the take down of her husband is just weird. Did OP ever consider that bragging about his acts of revenge on social media might just come back to bite him in the ass. I get that he wanted to see his wife and brothers pay for the pain and humiliation he was feeling but I think he stepped way over the line. He committed arson, theft, and just truly evil acts. I hope he can live with his actions.

Yeah, I didn't like how he set the horses free to fend for themselves in the wild especially after they were domesticated.
I get that the horses would of survived in the wild even though they are domestic, but releasing them like OP did was totally wrong if he wanted to get rid of them that much he could of sold them or given them away to a good home far away. Also OP broke the law by committing arson and drugging his brother which was also wrong. I do get the whole revenge part but breaking the law while doing so isn't smart at all he's lucky he didn't get caught. His brothers and ex did deserve everything that ruined them but the horses didn't deserve to be dumped in the wild 😞
