  • Hey guys! Here are some tips and drills to help you achieve a handstand! Please be sure to stretch your wrists before doing these moves. I will start with some simple body position drills... SIMPLE BUT IMPORTANT. I follow with some exercises that I find to be helpful and then show you some things upside down.

    I used to be a gymnast but throughout the years I forgot how to stand for long. I watched so many "handstand tips" videos, but the exercises in this one helped me regain my strength and balance. They're perfect! I feel so happy that I'm able to do a handstand again and maintain it!

      All you need is a tight butt (your body will be aligned) & the rest is in your fingers, not your arm strength.

    I just saw your video and you have one more follower. I’m a bit far to do handstands, but practicing it with my PT and we are doing literally the same exercises. For beginners these are the basics for being able to do handstand safely. Oh, one more thing: I love your accent (I’m from Hungary so for me it’s means a lot) and thanks 🙏 again for the tips. I’ll keep practicing at home, too, this time with you

    You look so fit!!! This is why I wanted to relearn how to handstand… every video the person is super fit!!! It just solidifies that a gym is not necessary for a fit body… body weight exercises are just as good!!!

    This actually had a lot of great tips! (and I've seen a lot of handstand tutorials) but there were many exercises in here that makes sense, but that I haven't seen before (not just "start against a wall, and now handstand!")

      I don't care how strong your arms are, all the balance is controlled by fingers.
      Tight butt & your body is aligned.
      Your head should be aligned with your arms, it's OK to look at your fingers, but a head sticking out too far will throw your body out of alignment by causing you to arch your back.
      1) fingers=balance
      2) tight butt=body alignment
      * former Elite gymnast/coach been walking on my hands for 20 yrs, up stairs, in circles, press handstands on floor, beam, bars. Etc
