Sprint Training And Strength For Youth Athletes || Strength And Conditioning Training Young Athlete

  • What's up guys! Today's video is sprint training and strength for youth athletes. It's strength and conditioning training young athletes, and we have Caleb back in the gym today. Caleb qualified for the junior olympics for cross country, and he totally kicked butt out there! He's back in the gym training for more cross country, soccer, and he is going to begin doing track as well. The goal for today was to work on sprint mechanics, mainly acceleration. This is obviously very important in soccer and for track, so we really wanted to hone in on his starting phase of sprinting. After that, we get into some power training for youth athletes, hitting some trap bar speed pulls. Then we move into the actually strength training portion, hitting a full body lift that works to build strength, increase body control and stability, and prevent some injuries. Hope you enjoy!

    video request- full body strength for soccer players. Also full body strength for combat athletes!! ( I know soccer may have been done but another would be great)
