    When i do pistol squats i feel like my knee is making too much effort, not like when u feel tired after excercising a lot, And im afraid im gonna hurt myself if i do that exercise. Is this a normal feeling?

      DON'T DO PISTOL SQUATS IF THEY HURT. if you have knee problems you should avoid the exercise. if you want to build strength, you have to build up to the movement, try using one leg to sit down and stand up from a chair. doing the same to build strength to recover from knee pain is also possible, but take it verrrrrryyyy slowly. NOT a good idea to push past what you're capable of with pistol squats, build towards that capability.

      Andrew Roberts thanks for answering man. Its not like pain and i never had knee injuries before. The thing is that im strong enough to make them but i have the sensation that my knee is making too much effort, maybe is because i never done something that requires that much power

      you're welcome and it's good to hear about your experiences. i think pistol squats are so dependent on technique and the mastery of technique that, even if you're strong enough to do them, your technique has to be super on point to get the most benefit with minimal risk. i was using pistol squats to rehab patellar tendinitis in my right knee, but i definitely followed a progression from bulgarian squats to assisted pistol squats (one legged sits into a chair) to actual pistol squats. worked really well for me, but i definitely think bulgarian squats are better from a risk and reward standpoint.
