    Great setup for sure. I’ve been debating between the L3560 and L4060. Leaning towards to L4060 now for the extra hp to power a 6ft bush hog and snowblower. That cab sure looks nice and toasty!

      John Smith thanks for the comment! I upgraded my B2320 for this one. I was also debating between the L3560 and the L4060. I decided to get the L4060 because I felt the extra cylinder was worth it in terms of torque. This tractor is so much more tractor than I expected. I thought it would be approximately twice as capable as my B2320. I can’t measure this but it feels more capable than double of the B2320 (you know what I mean?)

    Very nice setup! I’m on my second winter with my L2501 and rear 64” blower and I love it. A cab would be nice on the windy days! I’m sure you’ll get many years of great service out of your L4060. Great choice! Btw, a back up camera would be perfect on the top rear of that cab. Might save your neck some.

      Thanks for your comment! You're right, I was also thinking of a back up camera. Not too sure what the easiest set up would be. Maybe one of those wireless ones that work with GPS, I don't know.

      Yes that’s the only thing I don’t like is the backup driving.. They should make them like the front end loaders where you have a staring wheel in 2 spots so you are always looking forward while you drive

    I just got an L6060 and want to get a snowblower but there are so many to chose from. The one you have works great! I would love to know what brand and model it is. Judging by the color, I'm guessing Landpride.

    • @slater2028
      @slater2028  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      it's actualy a 74". I said 72 in the video but I made a mistake. I think it's made by BER-VAC and sold by Kubota. It works really well. 3rd winter and still like new.

      @@slater2028 I realize I’m posting this long after your reply about the model of the snowblower in the video, but can you confirm it is a K74-24-09? (That number should be right on the top of the blower housing). Sure looks like that model, and if it is, it’s made by Radtech in Quebec, Canada, and sold as a Kubota brand.

    Been on the fence if I should pull the trigger on the L4060. Are you still liking yours? They seem like beautiful units. Have many Kubota pieces of equipment so not scared of the brand by any means.

    • @slater2028
      @slater2028  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi! I am still happy with the tractor as when I bought it. It's plenty strong and I like the weight of the unit. I have the rear tires filled. The only negative thing I have to say about this tractor is the routing of hydraulic hoses for the loader third function. It is not well designed. It's better to have a plate made and installed to protect them. I have ripped the hoses twice in the woods. With a metal plate, no problem.

      @@slater2028 thanks for the reply! I have a Caterpillar Skid Steer and debating on getting a loader or not. Mainly want it for 3pth work but not sure if the $7000 CAD loader for me is feasible. You like the loader otherwise?

    Great video! I"m just about to order a new L4060 cab as well. What is the model number/make of the blower? It works very well so I'd like to check into getting one.
    By the way, I too debated between the 35 and 40. I almost ordered the 35 and decided to take on more look at the 40. I spoke to the guys in the service shop at the local Kubota dealer and they strongly encouraged me to go with the 40. They said the 4 cylinder vs the 3 makes quite a difference in grunt power, which is very useful for snowplowing, bush hogging, or even just pushing the loader into a dirt pile. The 40 also has a higher capacity hydraulic pump, which is helpful especially when running dual actions (eg lift/curl) on the loader or backhoe.

      Just wondering what is the Avg fuel consumption on the 4060 ? there is a function in the dash panel that will show it. I have a Grand L3560 loader and backhoe. I use a 74 " snowblower with Hydraulic chute controls on my Tractor and it runs it just fine. My Fuel consumption Avg is 2.8 Litres per Hr. I have just over 650 Hrs on the Machine and love it ! the only thing i wish Kubota would have done is put on a larger Hydraulic Pump for more flow for the Backhoe . This tractor replaced my HST B2920 TLB . (Tractor loader Backhoe )

      @profdave2861 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@spanky5476 I just happened to be taking a second look at this video that I had first seen a year ago, and realized you had replied to the comment I had posted and had asked a question about my L4060. I haven’t looked at the average fuel consumption in a while but I believe it is around 2.6 l/hr. It always amazes me how little fuel it uses, and how powerful it is for a 40 hp tractor. As I had noted in the comment I posted back then, one of the reasons I had moved up to the L4060 (as I too was considering the 3560) was the higher flow implement pump. It’s only 1.3 GPM higher than the 3560, but every little bit helps. Even at that, I too wish it was a bit higher when I use the BH92 backhoe, but overall I am 100% satisfied with the L4060. I have just under 200 hours on it and it has done absolutely everything I had asked of it with Zero problems. I just need to decide which snowblower to order… I’m wavering between the Kubota K74-24-09 (which I think is the one in this video) and the Woodmaxx SB72. The latter is Cdn$1500 less money, but both are very highly rated in reviews.
