      Thank you! I'm glad to hear that the Barbados Cherry Planting video helped you. How is your Barbados Cherry doing now?

      Great so far. It's loving the all day sun and putting on new growth.

      Hey Jake, welcome to the channel! It depends on what you are growing where you would need to start. Are you planning on more fruit trees or ornamental? Tropical or native? A lot of the tropical trees that I grow in The Green Yard need an established microclimate (or supplemental shade) to be successful. Citrus, guava and bananas do great in full sun as long as they get shade the first year to establish themselves. Let me know if you have more questions!

      Yeah, it’s going crazy! I’m going to be releasing another update hopefully next week. I’ve gotten over 60 limes off it already this summer and it keeps putting off new flowers and fruit!

      Hi Jack! That is so great to hear, I'm sure it will produce some delicious lemons for you. All of my fruit tree in The Green Yard are like my babies too so I understand. You'll have to keep us update on how it is doing! Thank you for watching and commenting!

    I ordered one of these and after ordering I read that they don’t produce as much as the thorny key lime . Have you heard that ? My regular thorny tree makes a lot .

      Hi Greg, thank you for watching and commenting! I have actually read that information as well. I’m not sure if it’s true or not just because I don’t have a thorny Mexican Lime and this tree, while producing, is still to young to see full production. I got about 60 to 80 limes off it all of last year. Hopefully this helps in your decision making process.

    Hi, is this a dwarf variety or standard size?

    • @thegreenyardaz
      @thegreenyardaz  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      From my understanding this is a standard sized tree. I did not see any information on it being dwarf when I purchased it. It's currently around 12 feet tall and is continuing to grow. Thank you for your question and for watching!

      Hello, thank you for watching and commenting! I bought mine from a local nursery called Living the Greenlife by Shamus O Leary. Most nursery’s in the Phoenix area should carry Mexican Key Lines but the quality of the plant will probably vary. Let me know if you have any other questions.
