I love all of your tutorials because one they are all so gorgeous but they are also real. You don't skip the mistakes and to me that's the most helpful.
You're AWESOME! I've always disliked HTV. Never thought of using the heat gun to it. Genius! Absolutely LOVE the way you layered the vinyl for more dimension. Thank you for sharing techniques and taking the time to make these awesome tutorials. Love you and your work!!!!
I absolutely LOVE your tutorials! You communicate everything so clearly and make it look super easy! Not to mention, everything is always so BEAUTIFUL! Thank you! ❤️
I was just literally thinking about using HTV on a tumbler but wasn't really sure how to actually apply it~ This is great! Thank you so much~ Glad this was posted~ lol
This is so cute! Love it. Thank you for the Inkscape section! Have been trying to figure out how to do that. Love all your videos, thanks for sharing your talents with us, much appreciated 😊
Jessica, thank you so much for this! I watched this probably 15 times trying to get inkscape to work for me. I have a different version so it took me longer than I expected lol! But It finally worked and I am so happy! I thought this was so very helpful for offsets. I went to your other video that you mentioned but I came back to this one.
Oh my goodness! Thank you so much for this! I've been following you for a while but, somehow, I missed this. I've got a lot of glitter htv that could certainly be used in designs for cups!
Super excited to see this I made my sister shirt for her birthday and I want to make a cup to match it but my heat glitter is different than my permanent glitter... now I can make a match!!
Awesome. I just don’t know what else to say. What a simple easy way to apply HTV to a tumbler. I’m a newbie, and I think I can do this. But, note I hv to build something to rotate my tumble on.
Jessica... thank you for another great tutorial. You made using HTV on a cup another option for decorating. You also can check the requested seasonal tutorial off you list of requests 😃. Love you videos.
If you stick one of those signature type post its on the inside of the cup, where you drew your line to line up the face, it'll stick out a little and remind you to use that spot to line it up. :)
Love this. Wondering if you could wrap a tumbler in htv🤔 probably not, I always think about it but I don’t want to ruin a tumbler. I have this beautifulllll seafoam glitter htv and I want to use it on a tumbler so bad because I feel I will never achieve the same color with glitter
Hi Jessica, thanks so much for the tuts, love them all! Am curious why the offset is not saved as SVG from inkscape? Saves a few steps in design space. I use illustrator and can import a layered graphic with offset SVG in one step, but have to make them compound paths for it to work. Would you like me to check out doing the offset process for you in inkscape that may save a few steps?
Thanks! I'm just trying to show how you'd apply glitter HTV to a tumbler. you could use any vinyl. for this design. I've had a few designs in the past where i needed to apply a small design element with glitter and using glittered htv came in really handy. glittered adhesive vinyl tends to bleed under epoxy
Thank you Jessica! You mentioned that you sometimes seal your vinyl? I’ve never done that but I have bubbles in my vinyl sometimes & have epoxy get under the vinyl. How do you seal your vinyl?
Yes, I coat it in quick coat from counter culture diy or polycrylic gloss from minwas. you can also spray seal it like you would glitter but be careful and shake your can really well and do nice even coats.
because I was using sparkly htv like a section of glitter. You could use any kind of vinyl you want. the point of the video was to show you an alternate technique
@@franklinfrenzzy2951 i gotchya... I've only every applied glittered HTV to tumblers so I'm not sure about the smooth stuff. I could imagine it would show every imperfection. Maybe try using one of those tiny hand irons?? Not sure how you're applying it now

Love this! Thanks
I had no idea you could use HTV on a glitter cup. Thanks for the info!
Thank you 😊
Yesss pumpkins 🎃 My fave time of the year all the halloween and fall stuff 🙌🏻
I love that idea!
thank you!
This is the cutest! I use my metal stir stick to press down the vinyl when using my heat gun 😁
that's a great idea! thank you!
That is super cute!
thanks!
I just love those offsets - they really make it POP
thank you!
Love this! It’s adorable! 💗

Yes 😆 I listen! Thank you 😊
Super cute, xo Melissa
Thank you for sharing how to use my HTV on a cup. I have some unique colors that I don’t have in vinyl..
thanks! glad you enjoyed it
Adorable!
thank you!
Holy sh*t Jessica! You make it look so easy! 😩 btw I love your nails!!! 😍 I’ll definitely have to try this design for my nieces and nephews
thank you so much!!

great tip! thanks!
Your nails are fire 🔥
thank you!!
This is so stinkin' cute! I want one lol...
thank you!
Love this! Super adorable.
Do you normally seal all of your vinyl prior to last coat of epoxy?
On metallic vinyl yes 😊
Hey there ! What sanding blocks do you use ? These are great

I love your tutorials! Question.. have you ever applied with heat HTV to perm vinyl? Would it stick the same way?
You risk melting the permanent vinyl underneath because you have to get the htv so hot to bond so probably not
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Thank you for your response!
So cute. Where did you get the cup?
It’s linked in the description box ☺️
Ok this is an old video but whatever you were doing on Cricuit just went way over my head 😩😂🤯 I need a class
😆
❤️
Thank you for sharing! Can I ask what brand of transfer tape you used?

I just try to teach it the way I know with an easy to follow process. I’m not really that advanced in Inkscape lol 😆
Awesome video! Wondering if HTV is better than regular vinyl for this project? It cost more so just wondering.

Loveeeeee it!! Do you do a tutorial on these kind of cups? I know you do a lot of others...just wondering...
Yes I have over 50 tutorials on my channel th-cam.com/users/FlynnSistersBoutique
Thank you I'm bout to binge watch!!

Hi, If you apply htv vinyl on a tumbler, do you necessarily have to seal it?
No
@@FlynnSistersBoutique ok, thank you

What is the advantage of the HTV vs the normal 651?
Not much, mainly just an alternative in case you're in a pinch or need a specific color or texture
Why HTV vinyl instead of regular vinyl if putting a top coat of epoxy over it?
because I was using sparkly htv like a section of glitter. You could use any kind of vinyl you want. the point of the video was to show you an alternate technique
Idk if i misses it or not but are you using regular transfer tapem
Yes
I didn't know this can be done.
How do you prevent bubbles with the htv. I keep getting bubbles no matter what I do
With smooth htv or glittered??
@@FlynnSistersBoutique smooth
