I found 3pks in my kids extra school supplies bins. Past me was looking out for future me. They were also purchased at 50-75% off, bc school had started. SCOOORE! 😂
I love this tutorial. I don't own anything I'd need to do this, not even the pens you start with. I do sell all of it, though, since I work in a craft store. Crochet has been my own hobby. Usually I watch videos like this so I can be better versed when helping customers who do this sort of thing, but after watching this video, I want to do this sort of thing. And now I'm running the math for what I'd need to get started. I swear, I can't take a paycheck home to save my soul. I always end up spending most of it at my store. lol
Good Morning Jessica, Thank you so much for this tutorial. Finally got my first few done. So Fabulous! I wanted to share with you a trick I learned from your tutorial on making the key chains that worked amazing on the pens as well. I followed your advice on covering the non vinyl side of my key chain with liquid silicone so that it was protected when adding the layer of epoxy to seal the vinyl.Works like a charm!!! Well I applied the same technique to the Glittler Pens.... Applying liquid silicone to both ends so I could easily clean up any resin that went inside the shaft. Works great! I also apply the petroleum jelly to the sticks that I place the pens on. Anyways, Thank you so much! Really appreciate your videos... your art is AMAZING!
I have been waiting for this!!! If you make it look easy then I will consider it... because up till now I was a skeptic!! Thanks Jess for always providing the trending content.
@@FlynnSistersBoutique Hello! I just started on my pens and completely forgot the spray paint. Is it necessary? Will it work without it? If it is do you have to use the same color spray paint as the glitter you're using? Thanks in advance.
So excited you did a tutorial on this! Your tutorials are so easy to follow, I'm working on my pens now. I did order an attachment for my pipe that way I won't take a chance of them falling. Beautiful pens you made as always ❤
I wish I would have had this before I did my pens! I totally forgot not to do the tips of the pens and messed them up😂 As always a great step by step tutorial! Thank you! ❤️
You made that look so easy and that's because you have a great way of explaining things. At some point you must have been a teacher in your young life. Great video, thanks for sharing.
Yesssss!!! I was so excited when I saw your post yesterday. I bought a pack of these pens last week but haven’t attempted it. After watching you do it I feel like I can do it!!! Thanks Jessica for another straight forward tutorial 😘😘😘
I just bought one of these pens and I was curious about how they were made. Wow! That was a cool video and I appreciate my new pen a bit more because a whole lot of work went into it! Thanks for sharing! 💜 Hadassah
These are so pretty! I found a holiday pack at my Kroger. They were on sale for 6.99! And it’s a pack of 10! I was so excited I bought 4 packs but haven’t even tried anything with them
This is the first time I have seen pens done like this and I absolutely love them and your wonderful tutorial. I don't have a tumbler but will try without as not much resin is going on the pens. If it doesn't work, oh well, that just means I will have to make a tumbler then . One more reason I will need a cricut (?) Thank you. ☺♥
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I tried my first batch, but must've gotten some of the epoxy in the pen tube because the "clicker" of the pen now sticks. Any tricks for the end that the straw isn't in?
They are so much fun. I was really hoping you would do this video. I want to share one thing I did. I used 3 wider rubber bands to hold the straws to the pool noodle. Than I was able to take them off and on to epoxy and do the wave etc. just a suggestion:)
Flynn Sisters Boutique Thank you! I’m loving all your tutorials! Still have more to watch, but yours are so easy to follow and results are always pretty. A fan for sure! Thank you for spending your time and efforts to teach us!
Straws are a great idea! Or #2 pencils. Instead of wasting tape when taking to the noodle, you can either use like 2 or drill holes into the noodle so you can stick the straws/pencils into them. :)
I’m soo glad you did this video!! I just bought my first pack and you reminded me I already have straws so I don’t have to go buy pencils or wood dowels. 😄
Do you have to use spray paint or can you use acrylic? Paint is a spray paint literally stinks up your house and my son and I both have severe as well, so can you use acrylic paint with a paige Broggi Smile there and do it that way?
If you line the inside of the pen shafts with tape (any kind, really) before you start with the epoxy, that should cut down on needing to use chemicals to clean up. I do this for when I spray paint a base layer onto cups, so the inside isn't painted, nor the inner lip/top edge. Great video!
Hi would like to make these pens for gifts for teachers! Can I print on clear sticker paper and then put them on and epoxy them? I do not have a cricket!!
When you said you applied 2 coats of the final epoxy at the the end. Did you apply one coat let dry 8-12hrs and then another coat and let dry for 8-12hrs. Or did you apply one layer wait a little bit and then apply second coat
Something I love about you. You get right down to business and don't talk incessantly. Thank you
thank you so much!
I found a whole pack of these pens in my husbands pen stash yesterday so I took them! What he doesn't know will not hurt him!
Lol get it girl!! Have fun!

MH Turners are great
Love this video thank you so much! It was very helpful!
I'm so glad! thank you!
Omg I have seen these and have been waiting for you to make a video lol Love these! Super cute💜
Thank you ☺️

You can use acrylic paint, it just takes longer to dry and less coverage. But it’s not a problem
Does putting them on the turner help them look better or is it a required step? I’m wanting to make some pens but I don’t have a turner.
If you don’t keep them turning as the epoxy dries it will all just drip off
Beautiful 😍
I just love your work love from India

Yes you can but it won’t show up very well on certain colors
Beautiful. What don’t was that for Linda and Ashley name!
Thank you. Fonts are listed in the description.
Can you use acrylic paint instead of spray paint?
Yeah the coverage just won’t be as good and it takes longer to dry.
These are sooo cute! 🥰 just ordered my pens , need to try this!!. Love them!😍
