- James brought me his brand new 2019 Rancher 420 to get a Snorkel and 2" Lift put on. Got the job done in a few days and I think its ready to go. What do you guys think!

Nice job man, I hope i did mine right lol first time installing it. I actually build the mounting plate myself to keep it from moving. I will post a little vid. I use rtv silicone gasket maker something like that i hope is good enough to be waterproof

Do you have a vibration since adding the High lift... my 2018 has a bad vibration after I had it installed...
When you put the 2” in the rear flip the hitch so it doesn’t hit the rut.
I have a 420 and keep seeing that lift kits on these don’t work out as well. What experience do you have with lifting these any issues that come with that?
Love the blue and the tires. Can’t decide if I want 28” outlaw 3s for my rancher or 28” outlaw 2s on it
OL3's, they ride better and weigh less.
SolitudeCustoms thought they weighed the same? But yes I’m thinking of going with the 28” ol3s. Just haven’t heard enough reviews on them on a 420

Do you have any opinions on the 420 DCT/IRS I just purchased 2 420’s one blue straight axle and one red DCT/IRS to start back riding with friends and family this DCT/IRS has me curious tryna waterproof them so we don’t tear them up

What’s the best snorkel kit for the money you would say?
I used that same silicone and it didn’t work for me at all. It leaked like crazy. I ended up useing rtv silicone that is oil resistant and sanded the box and cleaned it with alcohol. After that it never leaked again.

What wheel tire combo is on that? Same rims with 2" spacers in the rear?
Its was 28" OL3s, no spacers if I remember right.
Do you buy that black abs/pvc locally? Painted the white stuff a few times and it looks like crap after a ride or two. Also in East Tx, wondering where you get it. Local Lowes doesn't carry it.

Its Black ABS and then I bed line the riser. They sell it at the Longview Lowes but not every place sells it. I hear they wont sell it Longview Lowes much longer so I try to keep the sells going hah

Every other connector, Lights, Fuel System, Sensors, Relays, etc.

On this one was probably a GoPro 4 haha may have been my GoPro 8 if the timeline is correct
my gas vent line spews gas a little while i am riding is there something different i can do to avoid getting a gas bath lol
Do you have any pictures or videos of original snorkel where it ends. I'm looking to cover with some type of screen to keep mice from crawling in and making a nest in airbox. Not sure what covers I would have to remove to get to it on a 2019 Rancher. Thank you
If you’re Ofcourse only worried about it when you’re parked maybe just buy a pvc cap an 1/8 or so bigger in circumference and cap it off when it’s parked
@@weezyfosheezy805 thank you reaching out to me. So far no issues with any mice nesting in the air box. I stick a latex glove in exhaust when not riding it and on all the ends of my exhaust pipes on my motorcycles

Have you ever measured the 28 OL3s ? Just curious if they run tall because I have 31 OL3s which are an inch tall and some 29.5 OL3s which are also an inch tall. I want some 28 OL3s for my wife's 570 canam but I need to know if they run true to size or measure tall like the rest
Never measured these as they were for a Customer.. but they all seem to measure true.
@@Solitude313 well I can confirm now that I have measured some 28 OL3s for myself this weekend they also run an inch taller than stated, they measure 29 inches tall with 7psi. So for anyone looking at OL3s keep in mind 28s measure 29 inches tall, 29.5s measure 30.5 inches tall, and 31s measure 32 inches tall. All with 7 psi.
If you put a lift kit in the front should you install a lift kit in the rear? Wondering have a 2017 model need a lift kit for all the snow not mud!
Not not necessarily. On a SRA a lift will not lift or add any GC, mainly for tire clearance. So if all you need is front, then that is perfectly fine.

Could u plz tell me how to do a center snorkel I have a rubicon and should be about the same and I really cant find nothing on center snorkel with out having a radio relocate too
I dont know how to do one or say. Everything I do is custom, even if I were to do this one again it would probably be different haha.
I was told to just put a bolt on the one that comes out the engine what did you do my bike kills on me as im water wheeling could that be the roll over sensor

Not sure this thing ever even made a ride to tell you. I would think it would have done just fine as my old '08 had 29.5 and it did great.

28 inch, but I wouldn’t go that big on a bike like this
Here are you located? I would pay you if you could make put a 2in snorkel on my 2020 rancher 420 2x4 and a 3 inch lift so I can put 32 on it.

No GR yet and still only has .1 miles on it. Well know when we get some rain.
Nice bike, I only have 26 “ tires on mine and I noticed a difference in low end torque when all 4 wheels are in the mud. I think the 420 is kinda small for big tires, just my opinion though.
Possibly. A Pipe and Programmer are the 2 best upgrades you can do for the 420 power wise. Really woke my 08 up.
Has anyone used ultra black gasket sealer to seal a snorkel ?
That’s what mud puppy uses. He seals everything with it on his builds
I have and to me it holds to strong. Everything is already secured just needs a seal, not a bonding seal IMO

should try sikaflex instead of silicon way stronger
Ill check it out but will be hard had this Silicone I use had done exactly what I wanted in every situation
@@Solitude313 its a concrete joint filler we use in Australia but after watching the rest of your video probably better of with silicon cause if you wont get sikaflex of if you ever had to pull it apart thanks for the video
