you all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Kole Valentin I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
I know Steve would not and could not ever tour with Journey again, but after watching all the old music videos and watching him sing with so much soul it is hard for me to watch the stuff without him. I could never go to a concert but I wish them all the luck. I think Def Leopard will be awesome.
I also like Journey a lot, but the fact is that without Steve Perry they are just a cover band at this point... it’s a shame Perry won’t even sing one song with them again.. imagine how fast tickets would sellout if Perrywould just go on tour with them and sing just one song...lol
I've wanted to see Journey so bad, but I'm not going waste the money or the time to see them without Steve Perry! There's no way I could sit through that with them sounding like a tribute band.
Joe, I’m 51 now but I’ve had your cassette, cd etc since 1987. I love you. I will see you in concert for the 4th time in late June early July. I’ve had tickets for at least 3 years
My dad and I missed out on Guns N’ Roses.. I’m a generation Z (13) so I haven’t been around as long as my dad has but we LOVE oldies like Def Leppard and Journey and we cannot wait to see you! I feel bad because the tickets were a lot but it’s worth it!
My 1st concert ever was Journey in 1979. Saw Def Leppard in 1993. I'd love to see this tour.. And hell yeah, play the hits guys! I'm definitely not a Dorito gal. ;-)
I've seen both in recent years, should be a decent show. Def Leppard always puts on a good show. The last time I saw Journey, ehhh....decent at best the best years are definitely behind them.
Bought my first caster was on through the night by Def Leppard been a fan sence then and still is a fan today love defleppard never got to see them in concert but would love to
talk about a prophetic interview, mentioning the rock n roll hall of fame, Def Leppard are quite rightly in it now and they gave credit to former member Pete Willis.
Thank you Joe and Def Leppard for making your music available for streaming. I bought the CD's before and moved everything to iTunes only to see my iPod broke. I switched to Spotify - I cannot stand all the money these companies (Apple, record companies) expect us to spend, eff em! I'll support artists through tickets and tee's now and that's it.
I could see a bit of stress in Neal's face as he tried to come up with another Def Lep song besides Pour Some sugar on me! Luckily the conversation shifted just in time.
Joe came out looking like an expert on Journey music. He is clearly a fan. Hard to say why Neal couldn't come up with another DL song. Especially when he is into so much different stuff musically.
Hi Pawsomegirl12,. did you see Def Leppard & Journey at the Fargodome in Fargo, ND when they were in concert there together in 2005? I was there with 2 friends and it was a great concert.. I had seen them both previously in the 1990's in their own individual concerts. 😁
I'm happy to see Journey is continuing to tour, but without Steve Perry it is to me just a cover band. But that ship sailed a long time ago. But man they were great with Steve Perry and Greg Rollie in the say! What a legacy they both have left! Timeless music that will live on for generations to come!
Also I like Journey a lot, but the fact is that without Steve Perry they are just a cover band at this point... it’s a shame Perry won’t even sing one song with them again.. imagine how fast tickets would sellout if Perrywould just go on tour with them and sing just one song...lol
Probably thinking with this Tour we can load our Vaults and retire......... Thats why I'm going to see them... This could be the last tour... (Remember, None of us are kids anymore and BOTH Bands have been touring Non Stop for several Years!! You better see them before they retire)
Search for Come on, Come on by Rock Candy. Also the singer (Jose Anes) had a band B4 Rockcandy called Sinful with Nuno Bettencourt on guitar B4 he was in Extreme! Search for Sinful demo album 1985. Enjoy!!!!
I would love to go see these guys but @ $935 for a floor seat and that's floor 2 in the back at the Forum in LA... ouch! I saw zz top and Quiet Riot back in 84 and it was $45 in that same area, talk about inflation.
Fun freq I saw the 2006 co headlining tour twice. Free at the Hollywood Bowl (I worked there at the time), and for $35 dollars at the Jack FM show with Billy Idol, Cheap Trick, and Violent Femmes. Times and prices sure have changed.
I'm not really in the know when it comes to who gets the lion's share of the ticket sales but someone is bank'n it! and maybe it's the age demographic of the audience for these shows and the thinking that most people that grew up with these bands are well to do or maybe there just catering to the upper end of the income brackets IDK but I know I can't shell out 2k+ to take my wife to go see these guys, I guess I will have to live vicariously through others Sorry Joe, Neal : (
Why so much about how they look? They are like grandfathers at this point. Fun to see a co-show that actually make sense. Would definitely think about going!
Joe looks even more fucking handsome than he did when he was young. Def Leopardi has always been my second fav band, only to Heart. Their melodically charged,, songs , drenched in massive power chords, rival Joes vocals as he trampolines off of them. Epic stuff, creating hysteria, for those of you younger trolls. Rock of Ages, people.......
Minooch One look at this amazing artist, is enough to make me blush & I have felt this way since my teens. His eyes betray the Leopard with & he owns it. Lol, funny story about the name Def Leopard, when the band first came out an older lady thought their name was - dead flatbird - think I heard that when the guys were interviewed by Much Music. Wee bit of trivia for the young fans.
Iron Head-Ed This will be an incredible into to the concert scene. These two bands go together like peanut butter & jam, can't get much better than that, ( well maybe if Queen backed up Zeppelin that feat. Roger Dultry, singing Cashmere ),, lol, have fun Iron Head-Ed, glad you appreciate these classic acts. Maybe try eBay or something like it to find Slang - if not, at least you have it on MP3. Seen Def Leopard in a Seattle concert, but have never seen Journey. They're not coming my way this time. Rock on bro....... 💜
Great Interview.... The Big Question is "WHO will headline and WHO will close??" I'm glad the DJ mentioned Ticket cost's.... He's correct, it has gotten expensive!! I paid it and we will be there because this is a RARE Opportunity!!! Very Excited and we can't wait!!!
Thank you Joe Elliot for playing only the hits the fans want to hear!!! It is correct we all pay good money for tickets and just want to hear the hits! I hope Journey follows the same set..
Iron... To each his own.. but I think my feeling is with most of the people that are coming and paying good money to the show (average $100 just for a ticket) most of them want to hear song they know.. that’s all I’m saying.. I could see if your a newer band and trying to sell new albums or getting your new songs out, but as we all know they are past that and are out for the fans now. I’ll be going to the concert here!!!
Iron... Also unfortunately they can’t play all there good songs.. just too many hits.. but I agree we all won’t hear all the songs we want to hear, they can’t please everyone lol
I'm a diabetec. And off and on have some bad days. and would like to see the Original Journey Members. I hope my diabetes dose not take a 90 degree turn. age 43. 10 years ago. I nearly died. Had a bad foot infection. had 3 toes amputated, and nearly had my left leg amputated. I go to a lot of jam sessions. sing a lot of journey songs. the crowd loves hearing me sing Journey. and gave Journey new fans because I performed well. Even Karaoke. do well. I hope you come to Minneapolis. and sign all my Journey CDs. and hear me do some of Journeys best hits at karaoke. I hope the 2 bands do very well. and make over a Billion for the tour.Deff Leppard also Rocks. I hope the whole Journey Band will come out to see me in person. And come hear me sing karaoke. I have so much fun singing a lot of Journeys greatest hits. I hope I'm still around this summer. Diabetes can take a 90 degree turn. And want to come see this show if touring Minneapolis. I wish the 2 bands best wishes
GREAT interview...this is really interesting stuff! say what you will about Neil, he has been part of the game since 15 with Santana. THAT is insane! think about this..since 1969 Neil has been around in many bands always hitting success...forget his personal life drama...they all have that!
I’m not sure Joe is happy about the back catalogue being online. It’s crazy how many records/cd’s they sold when people actually had to go out and buy them.
Both bands have had their losses; Journey lost a lot of members over the years - not just Steve. Steves just the one everybody remembers. Def Leppard lost one of the greatest guitar players that ever lived and kept moving forward - their drummer lost his arm... he not only kept moving forward but THEN wrote one of the greatest rock albums of all times - breaking records (with one arm). Both bands are an inspiration to anyone that's been through hard times and anyone that criticizes them because of the changes they've been through is probably under 14 years old and has never been through any kind of hard times; probably never even had to work for a living. I agree Perry is incredible live - I've seen him live (with Journey 1986). But times change - they moved on... everyone else should take a lesson and do the same.
Did anyone catch the announcement of the special guest? You know who that might be right?!? 😮 And did you understand that Gregg wasn't welcome and that Neal fought for him? Neal said that Jon AND Ross didn't want Gregg.
If your trying to say Steve Perry is the special guest, keep dreaming with the rest of us lol.. it is a shame Perry won’t even sing one song with them.. If he was going sing I guarantee Neal would advertise that, tickets would sellout fast.. we know Neal is all about the money lol
Swiftyllc that guess is about the benefit. Has nothing to do with Journey...with no strings attached...if he was just going to show up. It was one of the reasons why the BENEFIT'S tickets sold out...in 5 minutes.
@Bob Donald I was referring to pre-perry journey...Of a Lifetime, Topaz, etc...video.search.yahoo.com/search/video?fr=yfp-t-s&p=of+a+lifetime+journey#id=4&vid=80700797bd6d6f5967d83784ca37cb9d&action=click
Huge bands like this touring together is terrible for fans. You get a much, much shorter setlist, and it's only the biggest hits that you've heard them play every show. Tickets are more expensive. Tickets are harder to get because they sell quicker, because it's a show with two big bands and because you have more casual fans that attend. The artists do it because it benefits them (for all the reasons above).
With respect to Niel, perhaps there is a little truth to this comment but if I had the cash, I'd do the same, especially when faced with the opinions of millions of fans. These bands are getting the chance to re-live their glory days, rightfully so. Many can copy these icons , but few can compose their own legacies- do be kind, these guys create Art.......
paula williamson - just wish some of the original members would take part.... Steve, Gregg, S.Smith I say take them all in the road! Dean, Arnel, Steve Augeri they all contributed to the legacy!
Yes they are... and here's the radio spot for one of the shows I voiced and produced scottjohnsonproductions.box.com/s/6t248vo2eu5vnt8lpk5xeac0vlar5wec
Somebody needs to clue the interviewer in that we want to hear Neal and Joe talk! Not the DJ flapping his gums all over...wish he would SHUT UP! Geez.🤦🏻♂️
i wish these bad asses would come to Sacramento California .my daughter wants to see them .she is turning 19 in Febuary 2018 .she loves them .she has only asked for a couple of things from me .going to a Def Leppard concert is one of the most important ones .
After Journey was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, there were rumors that Steve might be joining them on a future tour. I wonder if those rumors were true?
why would anyone want to go see Journey live? Neal doesnt even get along with them and they all hate each other..there is absolutely NO chemistry on that stage...
Who's Schon kidding? It's not about the fans, it's about his income. Between all the plastic surgery, alimony and child support, it's either do this or dig ditches.
Sad but Neil’s face looks a bit odd and scary. I agree.... just accept your age and grow old gracefully. Really don’t think the fans would care if you look older. It’s the music that counts the most!
melissa flinchum Lmfao. Love your passion. Maybe for u its 'older the violin the sweeter the music'. To me....just sworn out musician. And Neal looks like plastic man. Great bands in their heyday! peace love dope!!!
Neal Schon is an excellent guitar player BUT he was not Journey. He forgets Steve Perry wrote and sang the songs that made Journey really famous. I should know I was partying back then and all the girls were in love with Steve Perry. You could tell when Steve really had the entire crowd singing with him Neal would start moving over to Steve like to say, this is my band you are just my lyrics and lead dinger. Uhhh Yeahhh Neal he sure was.
John Kemper I agree with u that Steve made Journey famous. And that all the girls were in love with Steve (I should know, I was one of them! Still am!). But in all fairness of Neal, I disagree that he tried to share Steve's space. He'd usually stay by his mic til his solo; Steve would go by him sometimes. The whole thing back then appeared to be a band on stage who was about their audience. Miss them as a tight group!
Whilst a phenominal guitarist, Neal treats his fans like shit. If you even begin to think about disagreeing with him on ANY issue or, God forbid, say something he doesn't like, he will BLOCK you from his Facebook page and drop you like a bad habit. He is so incredibly full of himself. His arrogance is as bad as his plastic surgery. Still, I will never stop being a fan of his playing. In my humble opinion, he remains one the greatest guitarists to grace this planet. Just a shame about who he is as a person.
Joe is so great. He should host an XM Sirius satellite radio program. He's a natural.
you all prolly dont give a damn but does anyone know a trick to log back into an instagram account??
I somehow lost my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
@Anakin Valentin Instablaster =)
@Kole Valentin I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
@Kole Valentin It worked and I actually got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thanks so much you really help me out :D
@Anakin Valentin no problem :D
Both of these bands have put out some amazing music!!!
I know Steve would not and could not ever tour with Journey again, but after watching all the old music videos and watching him sing with so much soul it is hard for me to watch the stuff without him. I could never go to a concert but I wish them all the luck. I think Def Leopard will be awesome.

Ellie Miller Def Leppard is always awesome!🎸🎤
📣🐆
Ellie Miller I agree. Perry was just incredible live.
Ellie Miller I understand
I've wanted to see Journey so bad, but I'm not going waste the money or the time to see them without Steve Perry! There's no way I could sit through that with them sounding like a tribute band.
I was lucky to see a show on this tour. August 22 in Columbus, Ohio! It was amazing!
U rock joe! Much love to you and your beautiful family.💞💞💞💞💞
Get off Neil's ass,he is still a great music artist.
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Thank you Def Leppard! You always speak the truth. You are back on tour for us, the fans!! Thank you!!
Joe, I’m 51 now but I’ve had your cassette, cd etc since 1987. I love you. I will see you in concert for the 4th time in late June early July. I’ve had tickets for at least 3 years

I saw Guns N Roses 2 nights in October 2017 at the MSG and also just saw Def Leppard and journey at the MSG too!!!
My 1st concert ever was Journey in 1979. Saw Def Leppard in 1993. I'd love to see this tour.. And hell yeah, play the hits guys! I'm definitely not a Dorito gal. ;-)

Same here... first concert ever was day on the green 7/4/79 Journey headlined.
Bought my first caster was on through the night by Def Leppard been a fan sence then and still is a fan today love defleppard never got to see them in concert but would love to
When so many bands are there and awesome. This rock builders are Always Special... OMG
I really wish I was into Journey & Def Leppard when this tour happened. My parents even went to the concert!! They are so lucky
those two artist really represent greatness in the music world!
It still was a great show!
talk about a prophetic interview, mentioning the rock n roll hall of fame, Def Leppard are quite rightly in it now and they gave credit to former member Pete Willis.
Thank you Joe and Def Leppard for making your music available for streaming. I bought the CD's before and moved everything to iTunes only to see my iPod broke. Journey concert with Ariel in amsterdam2009
ARNEL
great to hear joseph so much
Def leppard forever!!!!!
Joe looks like he is a lot of fun to be around, he's a scream !!!!
I could see a bit of stress in Neal's face as he tried to come up with another Def Lep song besides Pour Some sugar on me! Luckily the conversation shifted just in time.
LOL.. I saw his stress also.. What a shame he couldn’t even name a couple songs lol.
exactly. Thought the same
Probably just pissed that Def Leppard has more hits than Journey.
Joe came out looking like an expert on Journey music. He is clearly a fan. Hard to say why Neal couldn't come up with another DL song. Especially when he is into so much different stuff musically.
My thought exactly. Chain Reaction is not a widely known song, whereas Pour Some Sugar On Me... Neal should have been embarrassed as hell.
got my tickets! can't wait!
I saw them !!!It was great!!!!!!!!! at the Madison square garden!!!
First cassette I ever got was Def Leppard Pyromania and from day one, I was hooked!
I think the only band Neil might be a fan of is Journey....
Hah-Hah. Good one, Rob.
Yea!!! l' m going to see journey concert .❤😀👍💝

DDDUUDDEEEE THERE COMING TO NORTH DAKOTA AND IM FREAKING OUT!

This was great fun. I'd love to be able to see the show.
I doubt that Schon's skin can be stretched much more. Impressive elasticity.
Hope you guys have room for good old Bangor, Maine [Waterfront Concerts] on the tour!
Major fan of Def Leppard
Chain Reaction IS awesome!
Also Troubled Child was a great one
FenderSchonJPX Yes when Perry sings it. Actually the whole B SIDE of Frontiers is phenomenal.
im going to be there hopefully. Not much of def leppard fan but freaking love journey

Get over ol Steve he's happy journeys happy stop pretending
Def Leppard and Journey...wow... what a great combo :)

I don't know if Neil is happy or sad, angry, pissed or dissapointed - He just looked surprised - LOL!

Awesome Interview
I saw journey and def leopard in August in Birmingham alabama this year dear lord it was AMAZING def leopard blow the house down 👍👍👍👍👍
Why so much about how they look? They are like grandfathers at this point. Fun to see a co-show that actually make sense. Would definitely think about going!
I would like to they come to Panama .

Journey was the best with Steve.
Zolitar Iglussey they are gonna flip flop headlining every night I believe.
Hi , Neal cain ,Ross Castanovo ,arnel , you 're all the best. 😁😁😀👍👍👍...
Mr Elliot is amazing
Thank you Joe Elliot for playing only the hits the fans want to hear!!! It is correct we all pay good money for tickets and just want to hear the hits! I hope Journey follows the same set..

Fenway Park Aug. 11th. Big doings!!!
I'm Farkin Going
How's Boston? It's still the 'Hub of the Universe'!
LT W same here!
Don't know as don't live there anymore but yes, Boston Hub.
That's just some dude in a Neal Schon mask. 😂
Def Leppard is in my DNA.
Two awesome legends! Neal is actually my favorite guitarist and Joe is amazing. You guys are the best, but make sure to get some rest after the tour!
Goodjob!😁
Just kinda wondering how it goes even thou theyre in misunderstanding with his(journey) bandmate? Anyway, Neal is Enthusiastic today😊
I’m not sure Joe is happy about the back catalogue being online. It’s crazy how many records/cd’s they sold when people actually had to go out and buy them.
What a great gesture to get Ron Dante on....
Wonder how Schon felt about this interview because Elliot had most of the attention. Schon isn't used to that
Guys look good sound sharp....Def needs to be in RAND RHOF
Hey... set up 2 stages and alternate between journey and leppard, kind of a friendly battle of the bands.
talk about climatic!!!
Greatest guitarist ever!

I thought Andy Kim sang lead on Sugar .
the initial Journey, pre-prima-dona-Perry, was a great band.

I remember when Joe was the hottest thing in ripped jeans and t-shirt
Arnel is good! Game changer now that Steve P. Is back!!!
I bought the same single in 69

p tricia. Take it easy, Neal is sensitive!
and the hair dye.
With respect to Niel, perhaps there is a little truth to this comment but if I had the cash, I'd do the same, especially when faced with the opinions of millions of fans. These bands are getting the chance to re-live their glory days, rightfully so. Many can copy these icons , but few can compose their own legacies- do be kind, these guys create Art.......
p tricia I agree with you.
paula williamson - just wish some of the original members would take part.... Steve, Gregg, S.Smith
I say take them all in the road!
This f*cking show better come to Pittsburgh!!!
June 1st toronto
I saw them !!!It was great!!!!!!!!! at the Madison square garden!!!
this guy looks like Fred Norris from The Howard Stern Show
After Journey was inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, there were rumors that Steve might be joining them on a future tour. I wonder if those rumors were true?
Josh Lambert No...
Doyle Perkins
Well, 'don't stop believin' ' 😉
Best band ever!!!
why would anyone want to go see Journey live? Neal doesnt even get along with them and they all hate each other..there is absolutely NO chemistry on that stage...
Who's Schon kidding? It's not about the fans, it's about his income. Between all the plastic surgery, alimony and child support, it's either do this or dig ditches.
Yeah, Neal has bills to pay. Better hope Journey doesn't implode.
Got my tix already, what a great double bill!
Brilliant
That thumbnail: Grandma and Mr. Plastic.
"We have got another stupid one over here."
go away if you don’t like it
Sad but Neil’s face looks a bit odd and scary. I agree.... just accept your age and grow old gracefully. Really don’t think the fans would care if you look older. It’s the music that counts the most!
G V Cal Women have the same problem. They love plastic surgery.
Joe is still handsome and that voice! Sigh!
melissa flinchum yeah in 1988.
Scott Davidson 2018 and he is still doing it for me
melissa flinchum Lmfao. Love your passion. Maybe for u its 'older the violin the sweeter the music'. To me....just sworn out musician. And Neal looks like plastic man. Great bands in their heyday! peace love dope!!!
Scott Davidson I guess so but I admire him for not getting all the Botox and nothing wrong with older men
melissa flinchum absolutely nothing wrong with older men. he just dont look like he did in 1988. and yes that botox stuff is ickie.
John Kemper well Cain had a lot to do with the writings of the songs.
Kim Magazine thumbs 🆙
Neil Seems like an Arrogant Prick!!
Neal's face looks like it hurts when he smiles lol.
Joe the best thx man
Whilst a phenominal guitarist, Neal treats his fans like shit. Just a shame about who he is as a person.
omg his face is screwed up
As ya Get Old ,, ya try to Hold the Original Mold ,,, Ya ,, it gets Old
Shit- Neal looks like a burn victim. Poor Bastard. I watched a live DVD of White Snake about 10 years ago and Coverdale looked so bad.
Joe Elliot looks GREAT AND TOTALLY NATURAL. Neal is a bit dissapointing.
