Thx for the tips! I believe I've been overtucking and man my elbow pain literally makes me not want to bench for a month. Hopefully I realign and that will get it fixed.
Nice video, didn't even consider that I was over-tucking. Everyone preaches to tuck your elbows and nobody says to be careful how much you do. Second one I do as well and I didn't even notice. Using the bulldog grip has helped me a lot too
Damn man. I never used to flare or get my elbows out in front of the bar but I stopped lifting and came back and all of a sudden i'm gripping the bar in close-grip and dumping a little, throwing my elbows in front and getting a sharp pain. Thought it was just some bursitis since nobody that was spotting me was letting me know. Not sure why I became a knucklehead. Thanks for saving me from a serious injury Coach
That was ridiculously useful thanks! So sick of videos that are more than showing off than tuition, or think "about 75°" is a decent instruction! 75° relevant to what?! Haha. Thanks again
Yeah it feels like whenever I get the bar down to my chest, everything just feels super uncomfortable and out of place. And now with my elbows starting to hurt pretty bad it’s been harder to go heavier
Its fine if you grip it right. Hands over bar instead of under. Aslong as my wrist and hand is alligned with my forearm i dont have any issues and i have very weak elbows cant even flat bench
Post quarantine elbow pain gang checking in
Freaking elbow pain

your channel should have more attention. this channel is full of helpful contents. wow👍👍👍
Appreciate that very much my friend!
was overtucking, relatively bad elbow pain mitigated completely by really trying to bend the bar just before lowering the bar for the press
I just want to bench once more!
You got my sub lil boy
Watched this after my bench press am like my elbows hurt a little not real serious pain but it's annoying
Heal up and back at it next time my friend! You got this

Check out our video playlist on back tightness! Sometimes elbow position can be out of whack because of disengagement with the back
I was overtucking because everyone keeps hammering on it. Will see how we do.
Very helpful. Cheers.
What if elbow hurts when you just warm up with a light weight?
Thank you.
Thank you so much man! I’m 16 and very prone to injury thanks to my dad lol but he gave my big shoulders back and triceps lol
Wishing you the best in your training buddy!
Were you in curb your enthusiasm?
I tried to bench 395 and hurt my left elbow. Did 390 no problem.
My elbows dont hurt but my lower tricep hurts, is that the same thing issue?
Yes usually it's inflammation of structures around the elbow that's really the problem ar Hand
Thank you! Really helped me out with my bench press 👌👏😎
Awesome to hear that Anas!
I’m the flare guy I’ll go down then flare out
Makes sense!
I switched to pressing with dumb bells and now have zero pain issues?
Dumbbells allow the shoulders to rotate more freely so they typically allow for more pain free movement
@@BigBenchas makes sense. Thanks!
This guys cool lol
Haha thanks bud, I appreciate you! Thanks for watching
Big Benchas I’m back a year later. I thought I fixed this but I’m back lol good advice again Lol must not have my elbows behind my wrist.
Big Benchas you know it started when I started doing paused bench presses and I think that’s when my form changed a bit.
Solid advice. Following you since/from Instagram.
Thanks buddy! Appreciate you!
1) Don't squat low bar
2) Don't squat low bar

Never a bigger sign of insecurity, when someone shits on someone else's appearance.
I get elbow pain in my right elbow usually hurts after benching could it be a posture related problem or technique
Might be both! Hard to pin point it but if you want to email me a video I'll try to help you out!
