@@rekrn12345 It's 0.25 lenses a minute per receiver. Tiny amount, doubles the output and allows receiving even when the swar/sphere is below the horizon making 100% continuous receiving easy to achieve.
Was about to tackle the white cubes, but had to search for how to get it set up. This helped a lot, thanks. Just need to upscale all my previous builds, apparently 🤣
Hi there. Just a little thank you this morning as I watch yet another one of your vids. I think it's just good manners and all when you come back to channel several times to get some info and stuff about a game you like, so here goes. Thank you.
I had no idea there were infinite research options! That's why I always stop playing games like this, like Satisfactory. There's nothing to do once you reach maximum factory status, but holy shit this game has something!
I hope in future updates they improve the control and prioritization related to both planetary and interplanetary logistics. It would be nice to be able to see aggregate data that included that because currently imports from off planet are not logged as produced unless you're shipping in ores to process locally.
Love it JD, I can't wait to get Green set up n done to start working on White Science. TY for your awesome hard work buddy, WooooHoooooo :-))))))))))))
for 1/s, or 60/min you only need 12 ray receivers when they max out at 5/s each. of course they need continuous power from the Dyson sphere... which is where Tidally locked planets are the best place to set them up. I built a 4/s setup.
hmm, you are missing one major thing in the energy generation. The lenses. They actuay do 2 things. A : Give a bonus to generation, i believe its double. Second, and that one is HUGE.... it doesnt need line of sight anymore. As long as the planet has line of sight to your dyson swarm or sphere, it will work. Meaning they will allways work and allways cap at 100% efficiency. So you need less, can actually calculate how many you need and produce hellofalotmore.:) (description says something about using the ionosphere of the planet)
I left these off the list, as EVERYTIME i think i know how they work im proven wrong, i used lenses during a speed run and they produced no power during the night, but twice the power during the day time
@@ElmoTheFirst You may have your ray receivers in a location that never entirely loses power. My planets north pole always gets sunlight. At most it will drop down to around 60%. That means they always have the 100% continuous bonus. You have to pay attention to the orbit of the planet and its axial tilt.
@@rekrn12345 you are right. Even while it looked dark, i just placed some solar panels there and they did light up. So there was at least some light. So tested one where it was dark. No power indeed.
Not sure if you have seen this but it seams that the higher you raise research speed the higher the consumption rate can you confirm? I'm making why more white then before and I just can't use near the labs as I could
Just a point - Energy Circuit lets you sustain warp longer, which is probably the biggest use of the upgrade! Along with the Mecha Core, these together probably let you warp across the galaxy
if you do enough energy circuit upgrades you technically don't need fuel anylonger xD, since you are going to produce more energy passive that what you use
@@poijnve3912 I mean, I'm not one of the devs, but if I had to guess the idea is that you should use fuel or power towers, and not simply afk in front of your science factory for a literal month and then never have to use either of those again.
@@ShannaeDarkehart but you can afk infront of your science factoyy for a literal month and have infinite resources, and by extent infinite pawa but with more steps.... beside you always have an industrial amount of hydrogen, you literally have infinite power xD, who cares I don't need any longer, when you get to that point you haven't need power for along while hahah
My research station has the capability to run 4x 15-high matrices....but i can’t figure out how to feed 6 lines in to each and still be able to take the white cubes out to feed to research. So right now I’ve just got 2 towers producing and feeding cubes to the other 2. I feel a complete redesign is necessary but I just can’t make it work.
If you run feed lines left and right run an export line from top or bottom up and over feed lines to spliter so you can feed them all to one out line is how I did it
@@jameswever8738 yea I did something similar. I ran a row of towers and had blue, red, yellow going in one side; green and purple go in on the other side and white comes out on that side too. Then I ran a splitter for the the antimatter to feed two towers on the inside where they come together. My description is kinda janky but it looks really elegant in game.
you can also fit a storage chest inbetween 2 ray recievers then feed the storage(set storage to 1 square) graviton lens and have the storage feed the ray receivers. This allows you to run a belt all along the storage chest to constantly feed the ray recievers.
Good question. Had the same one a few weeks ago before starting. Still have no idea if there is any reason to play beyond completing the first dyson sphere. I guess it narrows down to building planets dedicated to science or rockets, kinda creating your own goals of science/second and rockets/seconds with efficient (or just massive) builds, just like in factorio, aka megabasing. Please add if there are other goals I might not realise?
@@NevaMessWithDaBest I think the game will be much more repayable once we get a combat system added, I wouldn't really want infinitely scaling enemies to attack you till you are forced to restart but having to tackle insanely powerful alien fleets further away from your starting galaxy to expand would be cool for progression
Researching the last tech technically wins you the game but this is still an early access game. Version something around 0.6 so there should be a lot to be expected. I believe when they return from their vacation they are going to update a full roadmap.
Add graviton lenses to those ray receivers, it increases the speed of collection of the critical protons.
They also give a stronger signal, It's possible all those on his pole on this video would all be receiving, Unless thats down to me having the dyson sphere at it's outer limits
I feel like that function is something a lot of people are going to miss. ^.^;
They double the effectiveness of the ray receiver and last about 5 minutes per lens. That being said its kinda a waste of lens.

Glad I could help!
Get a Tidal locked planet. the ray receivers will max out at 5 per min. so 12 will do the job.
Thanks for all your videos. Didn't bother with white science since I could make the sphere without it.
Thank you very much for this ratio series. I hope you continue with some important builds like t3 conveyor production line
