    Did you find the video Helpfull? Do you want a follow up video for Universe Matrix?

    • @aurielmystic1381
      @aurielmystic1381 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Honestly I don't think Universal Matrix is really needed since we already have 60 cubes a minute for all the other jello but to hell with it, give us antimatter ratios and go through hell for us

      This was really helpful, Would be interesting to see how big it gets when doing 60 white cubes a minute and how it all would fit together

    Green was definitely a pain to get running. I started with the end product and worked backwards to supply them. I tend to make a row of each process with room to expand on the end for later balancing. One assembler / smelter for each thing I will need to get the basic plumbing set up. Then come back and copy/paste that first building to add more until all the things mostly keep up. I wish this video was out last week when I set up my green; would of wrote down how many things I 'actually' needed. Keep the vids rolling!

    Green matrix is away too expensive, took half planet for a good rate.
    The main problem is the oil, in the first area you have a fixed rate for oil, is unlimited, but is not enough for maintain (purple, yellow and green matrix).
    The game is forcing you to leave the solar system, for have a good rate... I remember... The factory must grow...

  • @thecriminal0105
    @thecriminal0105 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    So everyone knows it’s 47 assembly machines and 48 smelters if you bypass all the oil production with the organic crystals

    Oof. Just, oof. Also, combined totals of note when adding green cubes onto your existing science builds, as I posted on the purple video:
    38.5 plasma refineries, totalling 19.2-ish oil per second (note: without mining productivity this is nearly 2/3rds the starting planet's minimum oil)
    5.3 sulfuric acid plants
    10.5 graphene plants
    15 plastic plants
    12 organic crystal plants
    6 diamond smelters
    10.7 mk1 / 8 mk2 / 5.4 mk3 titanium crystal assemblers
    37 energetic graphite smelters (does not supply red science since that build used x-ray cracking)
    Anything overlapping not summed here is simple enough and used elsewhere enough that you've probably built more production of it than you need just for science anyway, but I needed this information for scaling my manufacturing outposts suitably and figured I would share. ^.^

    • @randeknight
      @randeknight 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think most people aren't going to make a dedicated line like that. They'll just use logistics stations to grab the material from wherever most of the items are already being made and just do the last 3 stages. The ratios are still helpful because it means you know how much you need to expand your production. Having a steady 1 endproduct per second isn't important unless you want it to be.

    • @JDPlays
      @JDPlays  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      correct this is what id do if i was to attempt to ratio it out... my first attempt i just threw assemblers at the problem till the green things filled up the belt!

  • @Silath01
    @Silath01 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Am I the only one who just dumps everything in the interstellar logistics network?
    I dont even bother with proper builds just dump a terminal and make whats needed and send it along.. probably helps that I have a smelting array of 1000 smelters for each recipe...

      This seems the best way to scale up in Dyson Sphere

    • @Dawgsofwinter
      @Dawgsofwinter 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In some way's I'm starting to convert to and from that. Keep a few places with select raw or base level items (coils, circuits, metal plates ect. and simply scale them up so they are making insane amounts of them per sec then shipping those off to where theyre needed. I'm slowly getting to where its making more sense to me to just to harvest all ore and ship it to centralized locations. Process then onward. Plus doing this in the few cases a raw is needed (ie stone for acid) it's easy to tap into and skim a little off for use. Like what he's doing here I'd have cut off a few layers by simply tapping stockpiles and production sites that would reactivate due to demand. (when you have that one spot that literally is producing 1-2k/sec iron plates the storage stays full until I REALLY start drawing.

    very helpful, took me a week to get my mine up and running, smaller but still effective. My biggest bottle neck was hydrogen that I've had to get from around my factory to have enough. Imported fire ice from another system to make graphene production simpler, you do get a bit of hydrogen as a bi product, not enough to feed the system unfortunately. I think if you can find a system with the pink crystals to mine you can also simplify the casmir crystal production flow.

    • @JDPlays
      @JDPlays  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Grab some oribital collectors, head to your nearest gas giant, and throw them down.... like 40 of them! That will fix your Hydrogen problem!

    Why is the extra 10% green cubes worth it if You get more then you need for all research by just running the game at night?

  • @nekogod
    @nekogod 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I did a build for 3 per second, all my others were 2 per second, but 3 per second for the green ratios really well and leaves you 1 per second for warpers.

  • @AsherGames
    @AsherGames 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    This is great. I look forward to applying this math to my non-spaghetti build the next time I get to green cubes. Because they strangled my build last go round.

    • @JDPlays
      @JDPlays  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mine were crushed in between other builds and meant i couldnt expand easily... turns out with enough spaghetti ANYTHING is possible!

  • @bobingabout
    @bobingabout 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Personally, I designed most of my designs to use the Assembling machine MK2 (at the time, due to MK3 being too hard to craft, also since research is the first time crafting anything, I didn't have the quantum chips needed to build them yet)
    The advantage of MK2s is with their 1x production speed... all the machine quantities were perfectly whole numbers.
    Even now in my super-late game, I calculate to MK2 machines, and then replace 3 MK2 machines for 2 MK3 machines as often I can, but that does mean ocasionally I build 1 or 2 MK2 machines in the mix. (of course just using MK3 machines all around and slightly over-building isn't a bad thing either)

    Very helpful content JD, keep it up! Just a question, I haven't started building my dyson sphere as of yet but fairly close, and I wanted to ask how do you build it on a different star? Do you have to go to the new location and build on a planet there first to get the option? As at the moment, it's only letting me select my original star. Apologies if you already explained this in the video as I haven't finished watching yet.
