You should have kept the trumpet toward the back of the air box. It helps funnel the air going in better. You’re better off removing the Helmholtz resonator on the left side of the air box.
So i have done it to my M3 and a 325i Did make more induction sound and better airflow so should be more power haha Maybe placebo but did feel peppier Im gonna be coming out with an intake comparison video Stay tuned
Im gonna be making a video series of intakes and my impression of them with sound and feel Personally yes i believe the airduct that goes to the front of the car does help with air flow on stockbox With how this is opening up airbox for more air the airduct may restrict flow of more air into the box ive ran the modded airbox without it

Nvm just saw the other vids it’s an m3 right haha, did you notice better driving feel ? More hp or better induction sounds or not really ?
