Tuned up "Vic" this weekend. Dura last coil pack set, NGK iridium plugs gapped to .054, used some anti-seize on each plug and Dieletric grease on the coils. Vic is running beautifully thanks to this Video Bro. It runs just like it did when I first got it. Gas mileage improved right away. Gonna run some premium in it. I shouldn’t have listened to everyone saying these ugly, easily one of the best cars for its price. The police ones especially with the upgrades nothing else comes close 💪
@@twinsonic B.S. if it's tuned for it it increases H.P. and generally runs better and cleaner in all gas engines including chain saws, lawn mowers, outboard's etc.
@@twinsonic Doesn't matter, higher octane fuel burns more efficient and increases performance, i also own an 03 Silverado that calls for 87 oct min and there's a difference running 93 oct in acceleration and response time.
Advanced auto sells spark plugs sockets. They're sized for the plug (2 size options), have a built in swivel extension, and have a magnet built in. They're like $10. If you plan on doing your own plugs your whole life, certainly worth it imo.
I put CalVan inserts in mine and now I have almost 10 threads, and i can torque to 25. 3-4h job if done meticulos, very easy with the intake off, so good time is when replacing the intake. The kit comes with the cylinder pressure tool to make sure valves are closed. All you need is to invest in a good air ratchet, assuming you already have pressure air

How good are the dura last coil packs compared to motor craft I was thinking of both of them but rather go with motorcrqft

I had this done to my 08 PI 8 months ago and run nothing but premium gas now,what a difference!
premium gas is a waste of money. Won't do anything.. Placebo effect

You really need to know how to torque those spark plugs or Victoria will spit them out.
It really depends on the year of vic, if I'm not mistakened they fixed the issue '03+ when they put more threads in the head for the spark plugs.

Aluminum heads and modern plugs don’t really require anti seize.

The parts replaced in this video would help get back some power.
Use a wire gauge, not a " gap tool"
