The thing with Babymetal is that they don't care about the how big the venue is they will play a 50.000 capacity arena one night and then a 2.500 capacity venue the next night it is not about the size of the venue for them it is about the fans, they still do 2.000, 3,000 and 4,000 capacity venues in Japan not every were in Japan has a 50,000 capacity arena the one thing you will get from Babymetal what ever the size of the venue is the performance will be 110% it is all about performing for the fans for them.🤘🦊🤘

⚡ 💀 💕 / 🌅 That was at the Hollywood Palladium on June 16th, 2017. The venue capacity is 3,800. It's the only time 'From Dusk Till Dawn' been performed live. And my first BABYMETAL song premiere. : ) At that point, all of the other songs on the first two albums had already been performed live. Yeah, we were going insane once we figured out they were playing this one. : ) Although BABYMETAL are one of the Japanese groups that have had the most success outside of Japan, especially in album sales, they quickly sell out arena shows at home. The Wembley (UK 2016) and LA Forum (USA 2019) are the only arena concerts they've had as headliners outside of Japan. The new album is a greatest hits kind of collection. All ten of these studio tracks were previously released, but the "BEST ALBUM" versions have been remastered by Ted Jensen. He's something of a legend as a mastering engineer. BABYMETAL fans were really happy with the job he did on the Budokan Red Night live album, released in 2015.
I'm surprised there was no mention of the choreography of FDTD, that's one major addition to seeing the live performance versus listening to a CD (or, much worse, to cellphone audio from one spot in the crowd), and the choreo is very unusual for Babymetal in this one. It was an early taste of the kind of graceful, mature dancing we're now getting from them in their latest songs like Shanti, Brand New Day, and Shine. I was thrilled watching it again during your reaction.

This was at The Palladium in Hollywood (3800 capacity)and this song has only been performed once. Their largest overseas solo performance was 17,000 at The Forum in LA. 12,500 @ Wembley Arena. Obviously they have a larger Japanese audience, filling Tokyo Dome, Saitama Super Arena, Yokohama Arena and various other large arenas 2 days in a row, constantly. The "new" album is only a 'best of'. Basically it's a top 10 of the last 10 years of Babymetal. No new music. Sorry guys.
The sound from fancams will never match up to the studio ... or the actual live, but this compilation with the sound re-balanced did a pretty reasonable job considering they did only have the sound from fan cams to work with. This was the only live performance, any pro-shot video there may be has never been released, so for now this is as good as it gets for anything of this track live
Sweet lord this is the only band that makes me emotional. Love these girls and the Kami band. Seeing them in Japan is on my bucket list. Hope I can see them here in the States too a few times. I think as you hit on, with the pandemic, more and more people have discovered BABYMETAL and I bet they have increased their fanbase so much more.
Babymetal just play this song for the second time ever at the Bodokan arena in japan this month. looks like we're finally going to get a proshot version of this song when the blueray comes out.
Great reaction guys. I can honestly say that I became a fan of this song because of your reaction. The whole BABYMETAL fan community (including Japanese fans) voted for this song for the 10 years celebration, in hopes of getting a pro-shot version. It won (over Headbanger, which is an iconic BM song), but for some reason the powers that be disregarded the fan voting. Now our best hope is to have it performed at one of the Budokan shows next year. BTW, for sure they fan base is far larger in Japan, but BABYMETAL managed to do an arena show in the US in October 2019. That's not a small accomplishment.
Guys, if you read messages from old videos, track down the ProCam video that dropped back in October (I think). The only other ProCam version was shot as a joint venture with another agency and contract disputes led to it never being released. The new ProCam video has come from Babymetal's 10 show Budokan performances just before the band went on hiatus. It looks and sounds fantastic.
Babymetal's 'new' album is a Top 10 Best Songs compilation. Definitely needed to be a Top 20 though, as there are a lot of great songs missing. Love your positivity about 2020 and the time spent exploring and enjoying all this new music. You've helped me change my view of 2020 from The Plague Year to The Year I Saw Babymetal Live! PS The sound and lights desk guys are wearing t-shirts with 'The Fox God Crew' written on them - I need one!
That was the only time they performed it live And it was at the Hollywood palladium in Hollywood California it's not a very big venue and from other videos I've seen it was packed to the rafters
On the venue, the Palladium in Hollywood was just one stop in the middle of their USA tour. They are not always performing in big arenas, those are some special shows, 2 or 3 per year. The rest of the year they perform in stages like normal heavy metal bands, though they are not ever smaller than 2-3.000 person concerts. They did an arena show in the USA, Live at the Forum, in Los Angeles in 2019. Also one in the UK, Live at Wembley SSE Arena in 2016. They look more chill and freely performing when there isn't a video recording around. On the Album, they just released the 23rd the compilation album of their first ten years. No new songs, but you guys still have a bunch of songs from the Metal Galaxy album that you have not yet reacted to. Babymetal usually premieres the new songs live a lot before than putting them on the albums, so the songs for the future fourth album are going to start flowing already at the start of this year for sure. At the Budokan concerts from next month I'm sure a new song will appear.
Only time performed live. Hopefully Rick will stop by and fill in the details. I think he was at that show. Babymetal dropped their 10 Babymetal years anniversary best album. No new songs that I know of.

Sadly the new BabyMetal album is a ten year greatest hits album so nothing new as of yet. To answer your question, yes BabyMetal are way bigger in Asia than in America although they did play a couple of arena shows on their last tour here in America, most were in clubs of up to 5000 capacity. Like they played in Atlanta and Nashville last year

I'm hoping for a new song with each show! Wouldn't that be awesome?!

Yea, my bad. I was thinking of Death. Same stage, same wow factor.
Hey guys still looking for therion son of the staves of time or even sonata arctica last amazing greys
Headbanger and BxMxC are my favourite Babymetal songs. personally, im not a big fan of From Dusk Till Dawn, Instrumental is great but im not about the singing in this one. one of 2 songs that are not my thing, Uki Uki Midnight being the second one.
Boys I know you've heard me request a million times but I think it needs to be done by the end of the year check out vektor recharging the void. You might hate this or you going to think it's the best thing ever.
They sold out the Forum in LA February. That's their biggest show in the US so far. They don't do shows city to city in Japan like they do in the West. Hence mosr of the shows in the west are to crowds of 3000 to 5000 instead of just the 2 or 3 shows at one place where everybody travels to in Japan

Sadly the new BabyMetal album is a ten year greatest hits album so nothing new as of yet. To answer your question, yes BabyMetal are way bigger in Asia than in America although they did play a couple of arena shows on their last tour here in America, most were in clubs of up to 5000 capacity. Like they played in Atlanta and Nashville last year
Lads, you got tocheck out this new band. Landmvrks, rainfall

Hirate Yurina (平手友梨奈) - Dance No Riyuu (ダンスの理由) / The Reason of Dancing
official MV: th-cam.com/video/qiLFkyEKhUQ/w-d-xo.html
so intense!
btw, Hirate Yurina aka Techi was former member of Keyakizaka46 (sister group of Nogizaka46, u might already know that Su's sister was member of Nogizaka46). Now she is soloist and also becomes actress (try watch her movie titled "hibiki", she is badass there 😂)
