    New sub,
    really enjoy the work you have done to your rig. I have an 05 sport that I purchased new and have been adding goodies over the years. I went with the Shrockworks bumper paired with a Warn EVO 10S , Prinsu Design Roof Rack, OME lift with heavy springs, Total Chaos upper and lowers, Corbeau suspension seats, ARB Snorkel with a Fleetguard pre-cleaner, rear window molly panels from Rago Fabrication, Baja Design ditch lights and amber fogs... ARB 50qt fridge, ARB 2500 Awning paired with the deluxe awning room... etc etc etc.. Love the T4R and can’t wait to see where your build goes..
    cheers

      Thanks for the sub! Your set up sounds awesome. I was looking at Shrockworks as well. I’m kind of wishing I had gone OME suspension because of all the weight I have added. Might make some adjustments in the near future. What’s next for your build?

      Still have a couple of goodies to add to my 4th gen... I purchased a complete set of Aluminum RCI skids including the gas tank.. that will be my next project. Went aluminum to shed a little weight. My frame wasn’t as clean as yours, had a little scale in spots and I had a little surface rust on the floor pan where the spare once lived so I had the complete undercarriage sandblasted, primed, and coated. I also had a Magnaflow stainless cat back exhaust installed a few years ago. I like the exhaust tip dump behind the passenger rear tire because it reduces the fumes coming through the back window. Don’t know if you are in the market for rock sliders but if you are looking at bolt on options I highly recommend White Knuckle Off-road.. I went with the DOM (drawn over mandrel) clean welds and powder-coat. Looking forward to more videos on your build 👍🏼

      Are you on FB or any other social media that you can receive a few 4Runner Pics?

      Solid choice! Sliders and skids and definitely on my list of must haves. I’ve been eyeing RCI and LFD. I’ll check those out. I’m trying to figure out a tire carrier solution since my spare doesn’t fit underneath any more (sport hitch). I have a stack of parts still waiting to get installed but haven’t been able to because a deer mangled my daily - so it’s been taking up most of my time.

    Thank you for the video. Awesome instructions. May i ask where you ordered the bumper from? I'm looking to get one as well. Thank you!

      Thanks! I got mine from 4wheelparts. It was the only place they could get it to my door quickly. Highly recommend.

    What fairlead did you use for synthetic rope? I isn't the same as the smittybuilt you showed earlier and did you have to cut the bumper?

    • @boundlessbuilt943

      I didn’t use the supplied smittybilt because the hole in the bumper is slightly off. I used a factor 55 offset hawse fairlead - www.factor55.com/p-offset-hawse-fairlead-00026?gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAiA3JCvBhA8EiwA4kujZgej27mpshyfttqUgnPCkRsuGLsZpUKnJ_WeR7JBIhTsMfqo9yq0ghoCiAUQAvD_BwE

    Great video, how heavy is that bull bar, not listed on their website

      Thanks! Shipping weight said 127lbs but if you factor in the pallet, it is probably closer to 100lbs. Once you factor in the the winch into that your easily adding over 200lbs to the front end. I definitely recommend heavy duty spring rates up front if you do this.

    What bulb did you go with for the turn signals?

    • @boundlessbuilt943
      @boundlessbuilt943  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Used #67 for both. No melting to date and both are functioning as running lights (the turn signal bulbs blink as turn signals when utilized as such).
