I feel like Rick knew from the very start and was just messing with Morty to get him to confess but I think it went out of control because Rick looks surprised when the Sperm starts building “Trebuchets”.

I really expected this episode to end as a simulation or hallucination that Rick made for Morty as a lesson for lying. This episode was so random and weird, I still can’t believe it didn’t go that way

When you reference continuity I’m surprised you don’t mention the crack in the earth around the house from s1:e11 where the house got teleported. That crack has been really consistent ever since.

That’s why I still believe that all episodes (unless we are shown otherwise) are with Rick and Morty c-137. They might swap or change bodies but things have been very consistent. And yes their relationship has changed a lot

That was actually done intentionally. People thought he was getting way too OP. So the writers nerfed him.
@@Noir0rioN I think nerfing is fine but now he has no agency, he's just sort of hanging around the kids, not doing much. The focus shifted from mostly rick and morty to everyone but rick.

I was thinking the President not allowing a female to be part of the attack team (since there was no queen requiring a female kickboxer) was more commentary that there so frequently seems to be a female heroine when there's a female villain...maybe to offset any need for a male hero to hit a female villain in combat (Catwoman in Batman Returns is the exception, but see Poison Ivy and Batgirl in Batman and Robin).
i think this is more of a social commentary about women not being included
This episode was a bit much but I enjoyed it. It had some pretty funny jokes. Han(d)job Solo was my favorite joke.
I laughed so loud when I was watching it, that was probably my favorite one too.
I agree it felt like they were trying too hard but it was still good but it felt like the Premise was too simple and tryig to hard to be funny 🤷🏽♂️ 7.6 outta 10

You mention he's drinking orange juice on the roof, but not that the graves are missing in the backyard? You even mention that they were visible in the previous episode. It obviously isn't c137 we're following in this episode.
Its also 3+3 in the intro
If he said "that felt like Gene" it must mean that in other dimentions Rick has run over the neighbors multiple times and he now reconises people by how it feels when they get run over... 😬👌🏼

The car roof being peeled off like a tuna can, at the start feels like a nod to Jurassic Park
I think any episode where Rick isn’t drinking or doesn’t have his gun is a different reality and not the main one.
I hope so, have watched Rick and Morty 3 times but these episodes latel have been dissapointing.

My only problem with this episode is the sentence “The giant incest space baby is cannon” is true. Hahahaha
Tbh I watched this with all my friends one after and another leading to this episodes it was a great time haha
The episode wasn’t my favorite, but it still had some clever jokes and some very strange and gross concepts, which has always been a part of Rick and Morty, this just brought it to a higher extreme

Imagine a series just covering animation details. There’s the Easter eggs yes but also the details. It might have to be until a certain point to have enough for one video though. For example episode 1 through 4 or something.
science wise it's quite accurate like with the bomb sperm could be a nod to the enzymes sperm have to break through, and the chuds and other fighting could be the antibodies fighting the sperm in the body
I think the horse chuds cannibal song is an homage to the Hobbit's "fifteen birds in five fir trees" song about eating the dwarves and Bilbo.
At some given point the point of the offense was so meta about being meta? I feel the very next step us from this is actually visiting the writers room and having them actually squirt gun us with their own jizz.

I have watched Rick and morty s1-s4 3 times and I love it. The first ep of s5 was good to but the last few episodes have been really bad. This is really sad as I have been so excited for a year for this season, and Rick and morty has allways been my favourite series. I really really really hope they improve as this has been beyond dissapointing.

He kind of has that feel to him. That stylish messy hair, those glasses, those charts he was carrying around like Daniel in the beginning parts of star gate where he translates the words for the other members of the stargate project...
I just loved Keith David during all of this sperm nonsense, this episode was saved by him, Rick screaming the CHUD’s warcry and calling out RDJ waking up in bushes 😅🤣

Idk if it's more so foreshadowing or a Easter egg within the same episode but I liked that they called out changing your nature and the scorpion/Frog story to talk about things doing what they nature is and then even though sticky goes to help by killing the sperm Queen he still goes toward the egg without hesitation....because that's his nature. So it's a good call back to just 10 minutes earlier in the episode.

Not a fan of this one. Sure I laughed at some of the jokes, but the whole thing felt like setup for a payoff that never arrived. I kinda felt the same way about the decoy episode, and getting two of those so close to each other felt like a waste.

Seems like the sperm queen is a take on the Borg Queen from Star Trek First Contact.
Now this felt like a CLASSIC Rick and Morty adventure.
Sticky impregnating the egg could be a callback to the earlier conversation about changing one's nature.

Every second, More then a zillion diffrent timelines are being made. Just because there are graves and other people comming back does not mean its the same one from season 1. Hell, in this episode alone, there are millions of ways rick and morty have died or brefriended the sperm monsters because thats how ult universes work.
