We met Andy and Linda while participating in juried Traditional Artisan shows in the Northeast years ago. They are a lovely couple who compliment each other in their work through humor, kindness and talent and my husband and I are blessed to have met them. This artist reminds me of my father, Richard Adam Dabrowski, a fellow artist sculptor and printmaker who died at 103 years old in Kennebunkport. He talked, organised his studio, sold his work, etc. In the same way. He loved to show friends around his ‘workshop’/studio with the same openness and charm. May this fellow artist continue living, loving life, and creating for many years to come! What a lovely human being. Thank you for this wonderful video!

I absolutely love this video. I love how art is life and life is art. I stumbled upon this because I bought two Andy Smith signed prints at the Goodwill today and then came home and started researching. I'm in awe! I can't believe someone gave these prints to the Goodwill!

Hi Andy, I really enjoyed the tour! I'm a watercolorist as well and listening to your story has been very helpful. I also appreciate that you shared a bit of you and your wife's business process and approach. I've painted since childhood but making a business has only been a recent thing. It really does take 2 to make this happen. I paint, that’s it. My wife runs the business; orders the supplies, handles framing and shipping, sends mailers, does the bookkeeping...

thank you, I am glad you enjoyed it. Yes, my art has taken over our whole house! Luckily my wife is ok with that as long as I keep it a bit tidy. It helps to be able to paint anywhere in the house and studio, then I can be part of my family life.
You made my day with this vlog, Andy. Your art is spectacular but your calm and yet passionate personality is the star here... and the antiques. I closed my eyes and daydreamed about sitting in your house with my sketchbook. What an inspired place. So very lovely! Wonderful story about how you acquired the quilt! Exchange of art--love it! The older homes like this have so much character and beauty! You and your wife have made it so full of interest and wonder. I adore the paintings in your dining room. Your wife is so correct about not wanting you to sell them. Painting of the baskets in the kitchen so so pleasant and beautiful. It is so amazing that you have a doorway into your gallery so that home and gallery are integrated. Your love of art is so evident in how your home and gallery are one. Each piece of your art has so much thought and love behind it.

I’m a watercolor painter online, and like you, drawing was a gift, and a self taught painter. I am thrilled to see another artist who paints so many subjects. Oh my goodness your house and studio are totally my aesthetic! And your paintings are glorious, as artists we are totally blessed! Thank you for making the time to share your space with us! You have inspired me not to waste what time I have left to creating , I paint or draw daily, and me and Daniel smith have an intimate relationship that borders on I don’t know lol I am going over to your website right now I haven’t got enough yet , I have stage 4 pancreatic cancer have for a year I know that way too early I’m not going to be here but thank you for the inspiration I just immersed myself in through your video your work and your beautifully decorated house/studio space
