The amount of losing games I had that could've been turned around and won by just interacting with Alter's ult is astonishing. It once went to the point where I had to ping the ult twice and they still didn't interact with it.

The only reason the devs did this was to manipulate people into playing Loba, not because it's a necessary design decision. The part that makes this a really bad decision is Loba already has so much. Now she can steal infinite heals, banner grab for free, and has insane mobility being one of the only legends who can go in and out of windows or tight spaces. Effectively they just made a legend that's very hard to kill and can get their whole team up while supplying loot. You might be thinking "that's what supports do", but this is too much as it does every other role self sustainably. Frankly she's not a support, she's the main. The infinite small heals shows how dumb the design team is because now people can just sit in a house endgame with infinite loot and a wattson gen on top. Playing against people like that is not fun, people play BR to avoid camping. Not to run into empowered camping.
If you read the patch notes, under the pathy nerf they’ve basically said “despite making an OP Support meta, people still play Pathfinder. So we intend to nerf him into the ground until his pick rate drops.” They don’t care 😔
Honestly, was always the standout character in the game. Not sure I would've even played that much without him, given how much of a step down it felt in speed/movement fun from Titanfall.
Like the bamboozled enemies being highlighted just isn’t useful. Rarely are we in a situation where we can’t make out where the enemy is. Seems just like a filler perk to say they did something. Should’ve given his decoys fake fire. That would’ve been a worthy sub or just make him fully cloaked. It’s absolutely wild that they still give him a flicker animation, but crypto gets the upgraded version despite it being a mirage perk from day one
Getting rid of more me perk for access to all class abilities is an awful trade off. 30 sec ult was what made him viable and super fun. This change actually pisses me off.
@@GaaraFPSyou only get evo if you have the respective class on your team. eg you only get evo charge for scanning a care package if you already have a skirmisher. so you don’t get evo faster than everyone.
The shield heals from Loba's tac can also directly stack (so you can tac and, while still recovering the first 50 shields, if you tac again it'll just add 50 more shields; be mindful that means if you double tac and get shot, you lose all of those heals)
loba & mirage changes are nice, they needed these buffs like 3 years ago but better late than never. the pathfinder change though is very stupid, omega-nerfing pathfinder is just going to make all the pathfinder mains quit apex instead of playing a different character since his grapple is so unique. i thought they learned their lesson back in season 9 not to do such heavy handed nerfs but i guess not.

Aight, we gotta calm down a bit I feel like. Take a break from Apex, let the devs do their thing. There are tons of other games out there to play. It's evident to me that the game has been moving in the right direction for a while now, and most of the changes - *that affects the actual game and aren't cosmetic/store content* - have been promising. I say give the game a couple of months and it'll be more than okay. We just gotta accept that we get burnt out from Apex from time to time, and that it's okay to dip out, play some other games and come back again if we feel like it. It's not like I don't understand the frustrations about the game and how the devs seem to lend a deaf ear to the community sometimes, but can any of you truly say say and stand by that the game was better say, one year ago? I'm not tryna lick anyone's boot here, I'm just seeing a good game and choosing to play it when I feel like it. I'm not married to Apex, never were. But I've gotten pretty good over the years, and I lowkey just like the battle royale formula and Apex does that better than any other game IMO.

That's exactly what's happening. I've seen people literally say if their favorite streamer/content creator stops playing, they'll stop playing too. Half of these people don't know how to think for themselves.

Hey Merchant, you can test pilot things in the firing range with another player. It's a free to play game. So, if you have another computer or game console, you can login on that. If you have a Nintendo Switch, it can be a lot more manageable since it is portable.

you share the firing range with others even though you don't see them. It's bleed through from their session. Others will see what you do at times as well
You lot realise that not only are EA having management problems and are acting out on a lot of bureaucracy over Apex, but a game can’t naturally have all balanced characters because then they have nothing to add in future. Making certain characters “overpowered” and others mediocre, allows for more engagement from the audience.

They are on the right track but they are going to need to go bigger! Update to the other legends, I am tired of the support legends getting all the buffs lately, and add wall running to the game. People have been asking for it for years. Also inching out the updates every season gets old after 6 years.
Finally they fixed most of the major problems except audio, they are finally bringing better movements and anti cheat system has been upgraded. Glad to say I will be re-downloading

Oh some complained about rollers being not competitive so in combination to relic mastiff here you go one shot knife... Kraber what? Kraber who? Yeey. Next update -> new legend or map + tons of bling... wait we had to do something else... maybe in season 25 if we make it :D p.s. literary only positive change theoretically was removal of movement abuse techniques yet Respawn half assed that one as I already saw 3 people crazy jump yesterday alone after playing like 3h.
None of these changes will help me as a solo player at all! Now instead of my below average ranked squad (9 out of 10 games they are a selfish/sabotaging duo!) playing newcastle/lifeline, they'll play loba/lifeline and camp/hide/avoid fights even more. After running from every fight and then looting for 15 minutes their aim will be terrible and we'll be getting 2nd places for days!!!! EDIT - Haven't played any game other than Apex for 5 years but downloading Marvel Rivals as I typed this because as a solo it's just a depressing game now and I'm moving on!

Just a small correction: You had a gold helmet on, thats why pathfinder had a 24 sec cooldown instead of 30 sec.

Path need nerf more. Remove perk for scan for example. This sht always scan and put zip least 200 metres for killing solos everytime

For alter, the recon and cooldown perks were swapped
I loved the cooldown perk, they the best perks for my two faves Mirage and alter

What are they doing at this point honestly, charge rifle looks obnoxious. Giga loba buff seems obnoxious, and the random lets ruin pathfinder again.

None of these changes will help me as a solo player at all! Now instead of my below average ranked squad (9 out of 10 games they are a selfish/sabotaging duo!) playing newcastle/lifeline, they'll play loba/lifeline and camp/hide/avoid fights even more. After running from every fight and then looting for 15 minutes their aim will be terrible and we'll be getting 2nd places for days!!!! EDIT - Haven't played any game other than Apex for 5 years but downloading Marvel Rivals as I typed this because as a solo it's just a depressing game now and I'm moving on!

At first I thought they where going for making everything better which definitely would work for apex because compared to rivals or OW their abilities are weaker and they only really get 2 but then they nerdy pathfinder???
