If you do quit apex or even content creation, you should know that your content is extremely unique and helps many players, including me. Keep going, you deserve so many more subs.
I gotta say your advice of addressing shortcomings from the last match has really helped me and the guys I run with, it builds team cohesion and helps us get on the same page with less effort each time
As always another banger vid and great advice. I think a payload game mode like overwatch combined with the BR mechanics of leveling up armor and scavenging for guns/attachments would be really fun. It may even bring back the titanfall fans if they make the payload itself a titan and the defense counter with care package weapons.
A jack of all trades, and a master on none; ARE OFTEN BETTER THAN A MASTER OF ONE, is how the quote goes, which nullifies the intended point of the person that uses this incorrectly. Varied knowledge is always better. I'd rather have a good grip on 4 characters than have full grip on just one.
true more knowledge is better but knowledge doesn't always = correct action, especially in this game. But early on there's soo much to learn and easing into learning 2 legends is more manageable and feasible for players. Ofc eventually learn more if you can/want to!
You for sure want to understand all legends to learn better how to fight against them but I’d argue that being extremely mastered with 1 or 2 legends is much better than being a jack of all trades. When you’re running with a squad especially, it’s much easier to create game plans and just be the best version you can be when everybody has worked on their roles and are familiar with what eachother can do when you need something to change the landscape of a fight
Yeah playing mixtape you have nothing to lose so you play different and careless where as BR you need to play different since you only have 1 life and limited resources like ammo and health
I was surprised to see mixtape in the game when playing again tonight. I hadn't played since seasons 1-3 and honestly missed it. I'm glad it still feels like coming home while also fresh! Mixtape was good to get the hang of it again before getting into BR.
Great vid as always Mangos. I’m a mod on the Apex PC forum on FB and posted your video about you stepping away before S22 started. Glad there’s enough new content to keep you about bro.
Ugh, this supposed to be learnt a while ago but #7 still gets me more than not, even with all info revealed and pings people still manage to do something else rather than what i think should be. Great video, wish more people watched it
The only reason i rush in when a team mate goes down and gets finished is because 99% of the time if youre not there within 15 seconds theyll just leave and its annoying so usually ping there loot box and get there as soon as i can so i actually have a chance of having my trio back rather than going the game solo which is pointless
True about survival items. I will say pay attention to what items you and teammates have, if you have no heat shields and ring is far, i would not take an extended fight far from ring ( also accounting for your heals ) but if you or a teammate has valk or evac then yeah go for it, but i still say dont get so used to fighting near or in ring often, always try to rotate to zone and focus on taking fights then , itll help with also learning positioning
My personal favorite tip is to main someone with no escape ability when you first learn the game it’s helps with your positioning and aim as u can’t simply run away. Then in turn will make u much better once u do okay a movement legend
I miss arenas dude. Haven't played since they took them out. That's all I use to play too it was so much fun. And I don't really have fun in games like that anymore but arenas was there man. They need to add that back
I'm lacking the mechanical skill to aim properly in apex, but thanks to you, I still have the upper hand in game sense, I do win a lot more fights thanks to you
Can I suggest a topic for a video? (Idk if you have done it already) but now that there are a few maps on: could you do a "best/worst weapons/characters to use on each map and explain why? (Quickly I know there would be a lot to cover). Nice videos! 🤙🏼
Personally i think new players should main 3 legends One skirmisher And one recon Mainly because in every season The best legends have always been legends with recon and or movement And the third one Is a toss up of the other classes Because 3 mains guarantees you will not be doubling on classes
I was masters for like 8-9 seasons at the beginning of this game but haven't played since like s13. Just downloaded it again for the first time. Wish me luck
This is probably the most random question ever but it does somewhat fit the theme of the video of getting newer players on apex For storm point is it a good idea to fight prowler dens and spider nests on ranked? I love your videos btw and thanks in advance if you read this
Only if you’re isolated and you’re doing so to get the evo points/attachments but be ready for another team to head the fighting and think it’s a real fight, you could get jumped. Thanks for support!
How do you make it seem so easy. When i get into fights i get instantly beamed by the enemy and its not like im taking 3v1's. It's like every contenct creator play's in bot lobbies.
@MangosInTrees hahaha yeah i came across your content the other day because I find stuff like that interesting but I hope you know that if you promoted your channel elsewhere I'm sure you'd do great, your voice is super nice and music is relaxing, keep posting whatever makes you happy! I'll be here cheering you on
#3 I main 2 legends right now and any time I switch I mess up exactly how you describe. From Maggie to any other legend is the worst one for me because I get so used to using that drill.
I don't know if I fully agree with #9. Part of what had me so hooked to Apex is the fun movement. My buddy who doesn't practice movement like I do isn't hooked on Apex like I am. We can't lose sight of the fact that it is a game and one element we want games to have is to be fun. So I think a healthy understanding of the basic movement techniques can greatly improve your overall game experience.

New apex player here, about one month on Console. Your videos are so helpful!!! Subscribed!

Both Mean nothing anyways if you suddenly lose your skills for no reason
I always say get a good grasp on 3 for trio Qing just in case you pick last and the first 2 licks was the only two you've been focused on
The video we all needed :D
Thanks for everything you've done Mangos
There should be a mixtape point system or something. Not like ranked but to have some milestones with special rewards.
I feel like Mixtape has taught me bad habits. I do well in Mixtape but get destroyed in BR
play mixtape like you have one life
that will make you use to disengaging instead of fighting while you're at 1hp because you have unlimited lives
Same
Yeah playing mixtape you have nothing to lose so you play different and careless where as BR you need to play different since you only have 1 life and limited resources like ammo and health
Love your style of explaining Apex, very helpful!

Happy to hear that!
if you plug in a controller and you don't have to aim
If I could re do it I would tell myself to quit and save the money and pain this game makes

This week is wild with baby players. One teammate under level twenty each match.
