RACE TO THE SUMMIT: Hiking Sunset Peak at Sunset on New Year's Eve

We close out 2020 with a New Year’s Eve hike to the top of Sunset Peak-with a plan to reach the summit by sunset. But we didn’t account for road closures. Are we doomed to spend the night in an igloo? More importantly, will Brittany conquer her fear of hiking in snow in the dark?

WHO ARE YOU? AND WHY ARE YOU BAD AT HIKING?
We’re Andy and Brittany. We live in Los Angeles with our two cats, Prius and Tumbleweed. Andy is pretty proficient at surviving in nature. Brittany is a reformed indoor kid who just learned how to use a map. Together, we’re seeing where our feet will take us.
The goal of this channel is to show you there’s no such thing as being bad at hiking―it’s all about the journey! As long as you stay safe, leave no trace, and remember to have fun, any hike is a worthy adventure.
