  • Cramps during periods can be quite painful and taxing. While popping a pain killer seems like the easiest option, doing that every month can be quite unhealthy.
    In this video I will walk you through some simple yoga stretches that will relive menstrual cramps and will help you relax during your periods.
    Reason for Menstrual Cramps
    During periods, the uterus contracts to shed the lining inside. The contractions result in cramps and pain in lower abdomen, low back and thighs. Through some simple yoga exercises, we can give gentle stretches to the muscles in these area to relieve the pain.

      @@alexandrite6902 its a light mint but if you find it to minty just let it steep for a lil then take it out then you can get up to 3 uses out of a bag but I would say try it out its worth it in my opinion and only $25 the bags are double the size so you can already use them twice $25 for 48 bags

    I m in tears... This helped me so much..

    I love that this has a double effect: The actual exercise helps, but also the fact that I need to focus on something other than the pain helps too :) (I actually like to have lessons when I have cramps - not super painful cramps, but annoying cramps - because when I focus on teaching, I don't have time to register the pain)

      It doesn’t help me at all i listen to them while curled up in a ball I was riding horses so I’m sore and it doesn’t stretch anything

    I woke up before dawn today without a period, but horrible cramps that made me almost throw up (I think it was sheer willpower that I didn't). After taking a painkiller, I did the yoga and it helped a lot especially the ones where the knees were apart and the twist at the end. Thank you for being here for all of us girls struggling to deal with the pain :)

    My cramps have always been bad, since I was a young girl first getting my period! Nothing helped. Medicine, heating pads, various foods, exercise, birth control... I was constantly miserable due to pain, often missing out on having fun or getting to go out and enjoy myself with friends and family....
    I realize I’m going on but I honestly feel like this video has changed my life tonight lol. I’ve been sitting up in pain and I’m trying to get to bed, while having plans to wake up early so I can travel in the morning. I still have minor cramps, but this quick and easy yoga routine seriously helped relieve the tension and I feel a lot better and I’m ready to get to bed now lol.

      You should move a little because moving decrease pain but if you can’t really move it’s ok you can also use some heating pads it also help🥺🥺🤗🤗

    Yesterday I had so much pain all day but before I go to sleep I thought that it will stop but it didn't....I had so much pain last night...that I couldn't even sleep...so, now I will do these exercises, maybe they can ease my pain...thank you for the exercises 🤗

    Stopped at exercise 4, currently in need of something like this badly. The first one helped a bit, the second one worsened the situation, third and fourth one felt neutral so back in first position, and not letting it go until this pain stops killing me 😂

    If you have trouble doing these exercises during your period, it works pretty well if you start doing them for a few days before your period. My cramps were horrible until I started doing them around 3 days before my period and I haven't used any painkillers since.

      Hi! This is personal and perhaps odd question. Was the surgery and recovery a painful experience? My doctor has recommended surgery to remove my ovarian cysts and I'm too afraid to do it.

    It really helps.. thank you so much.. unfortunately i experience cramps since i had period and im 27 now imagine the pain im enduring all this time. Im taking pills to help me ease the pain, doing hot compress, taking injections 😭😭 thank u for this.. bless u

    I did the yoga and I took some pain killers and then slept with a pillow on my stomach and I woke up and I was fine. Did this everyday and I really helped

    No cap but it's literally 1:35am I wasn't able to move a muscle cuz of how bad my cramps were but I had to at least try and it literally worked 🤧😭thank God I found this video.. 💜💜💜✨

    it is 6 am I have had bad cramps since 11 pm in agonizing pain for hours I threw up, bad diarrhea, I took three showers and used a heating pad and this is the only thing that has helped. I could go get medicine but I am broke lol. Thank you Yogi Bharti this helped tremendously

      @@s4vemys0ul I was on my first night too ( and most of first morning ) I was crying, my mom was looking for remedies online, my dad casually wakes up checks phone, doesn't say anything as he didn't wanna interfere with my " girl stuff " still it some time to find the hot water bottle

    To anyone who suffered through period cramps.. if you can just take one pill it will helps a lot.. I suggest to take 'Meftal spas' it really helps.. just take on 1st or 2nd day.. many says that we shouldn't take medicines too soon but if we are sick we take medicines so I don't think there's any problem in taking a pill in periods.

    I'm definitely not putting my head all the way on the ground when we do the butterfly pose. We had to do this for my taekwondo classes for stretching and people always freaked out when I went all the way down🤣. I only had minor cramps but I knew they would get worse haha. Hope you all start feeling better❤️
