The Willy warmer/ballerina shoe is actually something my grandmother had in her house, they were for keeping your bandage or plaster clean if you’d hurt your fingers or thumb, the ribbon tied round your wrist. The back scratcher/fork on the wall in the living room was a toasting fork, they were used on coal fires to toast bread. My grandma had one of those too.

The calf shaped things by the bed, are called gaiters. My dad used to wear them when he walked the three miles into town. it kept the bottom of his trousers clean, and looked smarter at the same time. Loved todays explore .I was sad when you found the mince pies, to think that Michael bought them, but only had time to eat one before he was taken ill and died., and the rest have sat there all that time.

the white on the taps would be limescale
calamine lotion was used for everything from bites and stings to sun burn
you could have been close with the mirror, a lot of blokes shaved whilst in the bath, so makes sense to have the mirror across the bottom of the tub
An embrocation also called a Liniment and heat rub, is a medicated topical preparation for application to the skin. Menthol Water Green would be like Deep Heat or Vapour Rub today

The shell spoons are from a set of desert spoons, there would have been a large shell spoon for serving and six for the table, these were used for fruit salad and ice cream and most received them as a wedding presents back in the day. The buttons kept in an old buisuit or Quality Street tin were a standard in every household, I still have one and often ladies put the odd old coin or ring even silver thimbles in there so hense it being tipped out. The first room was a pantry/ laundry, then into the kitchen. The room with the dining chairs against the wall would have been the dining room minus the dining table. The thickness if the walls at the windows says this is a solid country house built very well back in time long before the main road was added. It would have been a lovely home at one point but sadly never kept up to scratch. Thank you Adam. By the way Adam scotch glasses are round at the top but often square based with straight up sides to allow the scotch to be drunk as it should be flavour enhanced. 💕🇦🇺

the trouble with old timey mums is they did everything in the house so when they died the men proved bloody useless at cleaning up, thats why you find houses once occupied by old widowed/single men are mingin, they dont know where the Hoover is. Also if that was for his meat and two veg he must have had a bloody big car. The little bits of cloth on the back of the chairs in the parlour [second room] are called Antimacassars, in Victorian times men used Macasser oil on their hair and it was to stop the oil staining the chair. The people on the glasses were old Coronation Street characters. Down here in the south we've got bloody hard water so the white stuff on the taps is limescale. Chamomile is for calming people and sleep.

    Dear Adam,
I was send to your channel from PROJECT DARKKNIGHT HORROR because you have some amazing paranormal footage on your channel. But in this footage i don't understand why you allways touch or picking up items from the property you are in , because move or picking up items will increase the further decay, you should know that as a worldwide respected explorer. And without handgloves...thats not done in the so called '' Urbex field '' . Anyway, again a great footage from a abandoned place, respect!

The tennis racket frame is to keep the tennis racket from warping. You're suppose to screw it back on after every game. The tight laces in weather changes can cause the wood frame to warm if it is not held in the frame.
