- Today we explore this beautiful abandoned house frozen in time, the property was found on the side of a country lane isolated away from civilization, we believe the abandoned house belonged to an elderly couple and was left abandoned in 2016 with everything left inside perfectly preserved.

Adam that Dave from Abandoned world Explorer was slating you on exploring with Alec recent video at the brass house in Wales. He was saying your TH-cam hungry or something like that he was saying you f@uk people over, At first i wasn't sure who he was talking about but i heard one of the guy's say your name and that Dave said yeah that's him meaning you, just thought you should know what sort of snake he is he's obviously jealous he's very competitive and won't like the fact your doing well, he used to slag the Bearded Explorer off through jealousy used to say Colin was copying him. He's all about donations and what he can get he was relying on a thief called Ben Stevens to give him locations and going exploring with him he's a 🐍
Adam Alec has re uploaded his video about an hour ago and cut the part out where Dave slags you off about 7 or 8 minutes in.

I'm happy how you are both so respectful of these properties:- closing doors, cupboards, suitcases and boxes after you've inspected them. Kudos to you. About 25 years ago I was holidaying on the Isle of Skye in Scotland and we came across an old abandoned cottage miles away from anywhere. We went in an found just the same kind of things that you guys are finding. It was very emotional at the time. From what you've just found in this place, I would estimate that the last resident was an old man, from the size of the walking stick or an old woman from the bedroom slippers. The fact that there weren't any clothes found in the wardrobes suggests that they may have been taken into care for the elderly. The fact that their cottage still stands as is might suggest that they may not have had any family. A lack of photos around the place could also mean that they'd taken any meaningful ones with them when they left, or that they didn't have any to speak of in terms of family. The photo of the two little girls that you saw is interesting, but doesn't necessarily mean that they were family. Your next step to pump up your TH-cam channel would be to go and find these people on civil records. You could then put together a complete history of these peoples' last few years of occupying particular properties.
It,s heartbreaking knowing that the beautiful china and glass are going to be ruined when the roof caves in and the damp invades. They loved good china that's for sure. The books also, I have a huge collection of books, my hubby says too many. I can't bear to get rid of them,some I have had since childhood. When I do have to lighten the load, I donate to the library, which is right across the street from where I live, which is handy😀😁. Love your videos Adam, never miss one. Take care, and stay safe.😘😁
We have the public Library on the ground floor of this building. It's pretty cool.
It is a shame the beautiful things going to trash, but it's true You can't take it with you.
I have a huge collection of books as well. My children tell me all the time, I have enough books to start my own library.

I do, too.
I once decided to cull my collection of the classics - and other works that can be found in public libraries, but I had to put back so many because I just HAD to keep each book for one reason or another, even if it was a duplicate, that I decided to quit trying.
Actually, now I'm glad I kept all the books because we seem to be getting deeper & deeper into a new age of censorship of legitimate ideas (both those from the past as well as many from the present), and censorship of factual historical narratives in favor of histories that justify the current, academically endorsed value systems and demonization strategies.
I have SO many books. I kept my nursery rhyme books & had them packed away so well I forgot to get them out for my 3 kids!! 🤣 hopefully my grandkids benefit!
Still there are nursery rhymes that are probably banned now. I know I have Noddy books that are banned. Even “The Famous Five” is banned now!
Love that China cabinet with the beautiful vintage teacups,this is a cozy little house.Wish it will have a new owner soon.

Adam when you find BOOKS on a shelf please show us WHAT THEY ARE !! ,us older folks (from before computers, tv, & vidio) actually had a life & some of it was READING!! (some folks actually still do) Books on a shelf can tell a very interesting story to us. also they do a time machine pointer to the life & times of the missing occupants. OH also don't "drag em out & shove em back in... to readers books are sort of precious & need a bit of "respect" Thanks for your work mate , you are pretty professional with your skills

Well said Richard, I normally try and pause to see what books they have. Kindle has now less sales than books. You cannot beat reading a good book 📚 with a cup of tea 🫖

I just want to say how lovely it is to look at these old abandoned places, it does make sad to think that all that beautiful furniture and furnishings are just left there to rot. I also want to say you and your partner are true gentlemen putting everything back as you found it and respecting the place that was once someone’s home.
It probably had tiny little people living there. I can picture a sweet older short couple just loving each other

What a lovely old cottage. Love all of the China and wallpaper. Funny how they did all of the updating with electricity but no indoor bathroom. I do appreciate that you leave the places you visit just how you find them. It's so disrespectful when people go in and tear up these beautiful old homes and steal things from them. The three-tined fork with one wide tine is a Victorian-era pastry fork. The wide tine was meant to cut the pastry into bite sized pieces.
We still use them!

This was a awesome tour. This home was abandoned more than 5 years ago, it’s way beyond living in it unless everything inside goes out of the house,then it would be a long road to fix it. The antiques are beautiful. Something major had to happen to this family and no one cared enough to clean it up. I can’t picture anyone living here for a long time. I wish I knew more. Thanks guys, this was a interesting tour.

What a lovely little home that must have been for them. These videos really pull at my heart strings, wonderful to see as an explore but a stark reminder we'll all be leaving everything behind when that final day comes. Nicely done as usual and soothing to watch, thanks for sharing with ua 👍🏻
Lovely. Except it was damp, cold and decaying. That roof rot set in decades ago. There was no bathroom and the kitchen had almost nothing in it. No fridge even. As a stage set it's lovely. As a working home for old people it must have been unbearable other than it had all their pretty things there. The ornaments, china and silverware are wonderful.
Most favorite is places you find and your comments that come natural to you as you speak , grand ! And your girl is beautiful love when you both explode together!
You guys were so respectful as you walked around the Cottage thank you, it reminds me of my grandparents home.

And the silver... First time watching you guys and I'm already hooked. Why? Because you aren't over-the-top dramatic and speaking in a weird voice. Please don't change. I like the natural fun of feeling like I'm right there with you instead of watching a cheap documentary!

Guys, thanks for uploading this great video. This cottage is so sweet and full of character and I'm sure was a lovely home for many years
What a lovely cosy little cottage, but sad too…feel that an elderly gentleman was left alone after his wife had died, but was trying hard to keep up things his wife liked, hence none China cups etc, …the kettle and hot water were in the kitchen, so easier to keep shaving things there, and shave over the sink using the medicine cabinet mirror. Love the old yellow kitchen maid cabinet …very collectible these days. The door you couldn’t pull down Adam would be a work top, either enamel or rigid plastic type cover…ideal. The strange small fork/knife on the table were really “cake forks”, you have a slice of cake on a plate and cut a piece with the knife side and eat with the prongs! As I say he was trying to keep up his wife’s standards bless him. So sad that all those memories are encapsulated in that tiny space, the walls and ceiling starting to collapse around it.
And yes your right about the kitchen add on..you could see daylight through the wooden planks! Lol.
Old typewriter was more modern than you thought! At least it was electric!… wow! My turquoise suitcase upstairs! ( Also notice Pyrex dish in kitchen cabinet same design as one I use) ….Oh Adam! Education needed…”nylon ribbon” was red/black typewriter ribbon, and what you thought was “blusher” was actually a ladies powder compact,,a mirror one side, compacted powder the other, and usually a little fluffy pad inside, for ladies to “powder their noses”! Lol..these days girls use foundation liquid, and things like that..,don’t often see powder compacts these days.
A lot of the varnished looking wooden furniture with a bit of carving on the front was post war “utility ware” not the ikea type, but was more available after the war as people got back on their feet refurnishing etc. there are some really lovely items in that little place…what a shame it’s just been left! I just don’t
Understand why even if no family, his executors didn’t do something. At the moment it’s just a lovely time capsule of a life once lived by an older generation, full or personal memories. And perhaps the people are still there too, Bless them. Thankyou Adam and friend…( puzzled how you find so many abandoned places! Sad.). Was really fascinating. 👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Completely agree. I can just imagine what those old books smell like..an old library is my very favorite smell!! God forbid if any of those should still exist anymore in my town everything is modernized with computers and glass and chrome, none of the old classics that drew me in! thanks for bringing that to mind.. I just smelled it from my memories😌

Cute, tiny, pristine little cottage! You could tell that she enjoyed her pretty china, collection of teapots & wearing perfume! Looks like he outlived her! There was so very much of her still in the house! They were very small people, as evident by the rooms, low doorways & small furniture! They must have had an outhouse on the property! They used those water pitchers & bowls to clean up before they had indoor plumbing! What a little gem in the rough, that you found Adam & Dale👍 Thank you for sharing this wonderful adventure with us! I loved it ❤️

That 'add on' you saw on the way to the garage probably was the bathroom. That was a very old fashioned place, with no indoor toilet & no fridge. A pre 1960s lifestyle. We didn't have a fridge till 1966 but always had a full indoor bathroom.
It is worth always looking for the basics. If there isn't an indoor loo there will probably be one outside, unless it is some type of a camp.

Back in Time channel are brilliant. They really try and find out the history of the place, and even pop some flowers on their grave if they find them.

My Grannie always used to lose her glasses for reading. So she’d have a pair in every room. She unfortunately died on her 90th birthday of a stroke. There was not a day I wouldn’t see her dressed, her hair done, and her make up on. Always she wore red lipstick 💄 👄 , Max Factor powder, and foundation and a spray of perfume. I miss her so much. She died three months before I gave birth to my son. I’m so sad she never met him. 💓💓💓
It's my belief that your Grannie held your child before he was born. She definitely knew him before you did ❤

I know nothing about these things, but couldn’t something be done to save all these priceless treasures? The house will surely collapse at some point, but the contents could and should be saved for future generations or living relatives. It just seems too sad to see someone’s treasures fall to ruin. Mrs H.....Love the pantry cupboard..Back in the late 1960's early 70's they where like a fitted kitchen... So much from I remember from my childhood ... This explore seems to have a mixture of decades.... Again this was a families life ... Thanks again guys...You show so much respect to a home that was once loved.....

What a charming little home. Sad to see no-one has cleared it - guess no clothes - empty draws - suspect they must have been taken in to care. By the way; the "a fork & knife" - it's a cake fork.

During my childhood, early 60’s, we had no sofa just what we called fireside chairs but we always had a wooden gate leg table that was pulled out at mealtimes then returned to the side of the room again once we had finished. We had one of those blue tea caddys & also a red one, I still have the blue one, they are collectors items nowadays & it’s nice to see one still intact on the wall. I also had that same mirror next to the bible. It’s such fun seeing & picking out all the familiar objects that you use to have many years ago. Great video thanks👍

I really like your explores Adam and Dale too. That yellow cupboard in first kitchen, they were around in the 1970s. The first place cups on piano were next to an urn. Cute little cottage. Hope to see Lisa soon too Xx

I loved this place, it had a very homely feel to it, I think they were happy here, that's what I felt anyway.
18:10 my gran used to have drawers like them she pulled out the bottom drawer and put things at the back of the drawer then slide it back so no one could find there important things bk in that door that furniture was beautiful with a bit of elbow grease and polish them I love the old furniture the elderly use to all way just buy things and use them till they break stay safe them old homes for woodwork collapsing and the walls and mould on the walls such a fantastic find it look so cozie bless I’ve got old cups and saucers love them you never see them no more like you say it’s all Homebase or IKEA lol 21:12 sounds like knocking sounds and again at 21:24 very werid sounds creepy bedroom loved the vase 🏺 wad bowl they are my favourites pottery 22:15 I think was a small vanity box put all your make up or use it like a wk end suitcase lol if You lost your key to them you could never open it I think they made with cardboard bk n the day 23:10 I was laughing at you both about the toilet the Jerry can was probelly under the beds no toilets for the old homes or outside toilet my great grandmother her toilet was outside lol 27:58 Awh the window was open the outside will set in quicker in the home and deterate quicker Awh bless I would of had to try and close them to preserve thank you 🙏 for fantastic video once again xx

The house would of been so cold they wouldn’t of needed a fridge. My Nan kept all her butter and milk in a larder before we bought her a fridge freezer. She also made her own dripping. I miss those days 😩
I love the fire in the corner of dining room, don't normally see em in corner. My dad used to get ready in their kitchen, was better light for him, I did too ❤

Reminds me of the houses in my old neighborhood. When I was a little kid. My aunt’s house was maybe 400-500 square feet. My shed is at least as big as her old house. And it had 2 bed rooms and a combination living room and dining room about the size of my master bedroom now. Amazing how standards have changed.
