hello Max! kinda late but for the black chicken, its traditionally used in a medicinal broth. you can purchase little broth herb packets from a local traditional Chinese medicine shop and i think it tastes amazing
as a coffee drinker, you should have taken espresso shots instead of cutting it with that huge amount of water to taste the difference and you'll know why it's worth that much
