- while I have the stipplign video out, might as well make a video on giving tips on how to use a Stippler Brush. I personally prefer this on Liquid Foundations, the 190 or 109 on Creams, and buffers on powders. EnJoy!

FINALLY, a tutorial that actually explains how to use a stippling brush. Thank you!
youre the first person who uses the brush correctly. no body else on youtube seems to know what they are doing. thank you ;)
I've just moved to using foundation brushes and this is the kind I bought. This is the only video that has shown me how to properly use a brush! Thanks a million!
Great technique! I finally know how to use my stipple brush know . Love that your face is real and not mega perfect like everyone else trying to show how to minimize pores and acne scars as I have the same issues. Thanks again. Definitely a subscriber know :-)
This is the only video that made me love my real techniques DUO fibre brush which i gave up on , i used it in buffing motion like many other unaware MUA . This is now my holy grail brush for BB and light foundation. The technique is on point !
I feel like every question about makeup I have, you have a video about! Thank you so much for having consistently awesome and helpful vids!
Excellent! Best explanation on how and why to use the stipple brush. So many other demos stipple and then swirl which negates the purpose of stippling in the first place. Thanks for describing the process.
I come back again and again to watch your vids, Koren...thanks soooo much!!
I love your tutorials. I love the way you say the "do not's" of makeup, so blunt and funny at the same time :)
I really enjoy your videos :)
best video I've ever seen on how to use a stipple brush properly. Thanks for sharing
I just did my foundation with a stippling brush, and I love that airbrush finish it gives my skin my skin looks so flawless. Thank you for this video!
I'm addicted to these vids! Koren, you're so helpful!
Koren, you are so lovely. Always thinking of us. Such a great teacher. Thanks so much for all your effort. God bless you.
Absolutely loved this tutorial. It has helped me tremendously. I was so undecided about purchasing this brush but now after watching this, I'm gettin' it! I've got some light boxcar scarring on my cheeks and I love how the application looks on you. It's so soft focus and covers seamlessly. Thanks for showing how to use the brush and doing the application CORRECTLY, (unlike others I've seen).
I love this brush. I hate too much makeup on my face and this brush applies my foundation so nicely, without too much product!
Your video was great! You're awesome Enkore!
Ok subrscribed, because you have a better explanation than most tutorials I have seen... I finally understand what brushes to use and for what purpose... THANK YOU!!! I am now addicted to your channel!!! :)
Koren, you are so talented and your videos are very informatiave. Keep up the great work. I love watching you!!
Wow, this was really helpful!!
This is not how I usually see people use this brush. I just got one myself and now I know I'll actually be using it right.
You always give such wonderful tips, keep them coming!
Thanks for this Koren! I just learned that I was using my brush incorrectly. The MAC consultant told me to apply it using a light tiny circular motion. Tomorrow I'm doing it your way - the right way.
Cheers!
Best tutorial on this brush!
You are incredibly gifted. Thank you for sharing your techniques and "cheats" with us. :) Found you through a discussion on the MakeupGeek forum and must say you are the best tutor I've found so far. Muwah!
Love you...You're one of the Best..Keep tips coming
I was using a stippling brush but it would always look cakey- thanks so much for the wonderful tips :) I love your videos! ♥
this is seriously the best stippling brush video :D
Thank so much for posting this. Love your videos. They are so helpful! Thank you xox
I have a new stippler brush and I cant wait to try it. Fantastic vid.
excellent tutorial, thanks SOO much for sharing your expertise Koren.
I recently purchased MAC liquid foundation after only ever using Bare Minerals and the woman at the counter told me to use the stippling brush the wrong way and when I would do my make up I hated it it was splotchy and felt heavy. I watched this video last night hoping it would help me so I wouldn't have to return all my makeup and tried it this morning and I love it!! Thank you!
Thank you so much for the video. I learn something new with every video that you do.
Thank you so much for this video because I did not know how to use this brush. You are fantastic.
this is really great! love your technique Encore!
hey skittles -- thats where the 188 brush comes in handy its smaller size makes it ideal for the areas close to browns and side of nose. If you only have a 187, pinch the bristles! it will make it better getting into those areas.
Enkore, you are the best!!
thank you so much for this vid! i have ordered the 188 and i just can't wait to try it out! thanks again.
Omgosh super awesome tutorial! I am excited to see your other videos. Plus you seem like a really neat person, very easy to relate to. :) SUBSCRIBED!
Man, I was totally confused with this brush until now. Thanks!
oh thank you so much for this! i was having such a hard time figuring out how to get this brush to work for me. you are just awsome!
xoxo
I love this! Great Demo!
Thank you so much for the most informative video on stippling brushes
using the 187 on creme blush will only give you a soft focus look, if you are trying to get more color on the skin, it will take more effort. So its best to use something like a 190 brush first to apply the color on your cheeks, then blend and spread using the 187.
stippling to get an airbrushed look only applies to liquid foundation. You can use the brush on powders it will give you a soft-focus coverage.
I love you! Thanks so much for making this video--I had never even heard of stippling before :)
Thank you. That was VERY HELPFUL. I thought you just swish the brush around. Plus, I was pouring the foundation onto the brush.
Michelle Phan needs to see this video. She always swirls her stipple brush on. Defeats the purpose.
Excellent tip......going to buy this brush! You look beautiful! Thanks!
hey brittany -- stippling for that airbrushed finish. If you don't particularly care for that finish, then swirling after is fine. Try it and see which one you like better.
OMG, thanks so much for this vid. It made a HUGE difference in my foundation look. I couldn't believe it.
Thanks enkore! Learned a lot in this one!!!
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! I'm a 32 year old but I have NEVER EVER used makeup... I REALLY want to learn how that's why I have subscribed in your channel. I'm learning a lot from you, Koren! I haven'r started my own make up kit just yet though ;)
Wow thank you so much. You are GREAT at explaining things & great for these types of videos! Thanks ! ! Xoxo
What ? I just discovered you ? Where have I been lol you are amazing !!!!
You make it look so easy, thankyou! :)
i just bought a stippling brush last week and have been stippling and swirling.. i cant wait to try this new technique tomorrow morning!!! :-)!!
the SS187 - its originally part of my Application Review DAY 3 video -- but to cut time, I made a totally seperate video on TIPS on Stippling. Might help out others out there.
Love your videos !!!
it takes a little more effort to use this on cream foundations but its useable. If you require a lot of coverage then that can take time if you use this brush. If you're acream foundation user, try a 109 instead.
thanks for the help x defiantly my favourite way to apply foundation
that was an excellent video, I've been using my stippler with more of a brushing motion and never felt I was really using it correctly. eventually it sat wasting away in my brush holder, now I can bring it out and start using it again. hooray!
Thank you. I have acne and acne scars and this is so awesome to know! I'm sampling two different liquid foundations from Sephora right now and will use this technique in my application tomorrow :).
Wow, that was really enlighting!
thank you for showing the right way! I didn't understand why other people stippled then blend?? This is a great tutorial!
I use this technique today...
Enkore: u rock!! Thx again: my skin look flawless!
thank you so much for making this video!! it was so helpful for me :-)
Great video .. I am very acne prone and oily I can't wait to try this!!!!
very helpful, ive been buffing in my foundation and its been looking cakey
thank you
Thanks a lot for uploading this, it was a lot of help to me
You are totally amazing 😊 Thankyou 💖💖💖
Ok so I tossed my other brush for this brush. I got so many compliments from my coworkers. For once, I didnt have that painted/caked on look. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
you apply powder when the foundation dries, not while its still wet so that you dont disrupt the pixels. Sweep the excess with a light sweep, as oppose to brushing it off.
OMG! thanks a lot!...you saved me so much frustration! you are amazing!
Thank you so so much I was wondering how to use it I was using it like a regular foundation brush I bought it in the holiday set my fav right now has to be the 190 though once again thank you thank you thank you
thank you so much for doing a video on how to use that brush, you are so fab! btw, does it give the same airbrush look if you use fix plus and mineral foundation with it?
i bought the same ones!!! love it!
thanks for posting this! ive always wondered about the "correct" way to stipple foundation.
nice technique! nice to see a refreshing tutorial on a skin not as perfect as others :) at least i can really see what this technique can do to my skin after make up.. great job and theory! lols! :) thanks!
stippling will give you that pixelized effect (airbrushed finish) once you swirl, you will loose that effect. If you dont want a more airbrushed dinish, then you can swirl in circular motion.
stippler brushes are one of those brush that neeeds to be washed almost every after use, otherwise the foundation residue will cause the white fibers to clump together.
187 will only give you a soft focus effect when used on bronzer or blush. If you want more amount, you are better off using a diff brush like the 168.
Thank you for the tutorial, this really helps me.
i wuz jus thinking about getting one of these brushes so thx soooo much 4 this u r wonderful
thanks for the tip. i learned something new today.
amazing channel, hope u upload more videos!
Thank you! Ive always used a sponge or my fingers,do you use concealer b4 doing it this way if your going 2 use concealer?

Thank you for the tutorial!!
hey enkore great video
Is the 187 brush good for mineralized foundation powder?
thanks for sharing. this is a big help!
Thanks for the tip 👍🏻🤗
Great vid, I purchased this brush a while back and wasnt quite sure on how to use it.
Which brush would you prefer to use MAC's new Studio Sculpt Foundation? 187 or 109?
This was great!
you sold me on a stippling brush...my very next purchase....thanks for the vid!!!
when powdering - you dont want a brushing or swirling motion. You want to gently pat the powder first, the brush off the excess powder after its set.
what kind of foundation?
