I appreciate your realistic viewpoint, consider that the current laws in America are artificial control mechanisims only and Common law is what America was originally about in that simple practice of do no harm to your neighbor or their property and therefore no issues unless these are violated. Enjoy the freedom that America is originally about by not causing harm to your neighbor while enjoying your personal freedom that each of us are meant to enjoy while not harming our neighbor.

What's a realistic sustained cruising speed for this bike for say a 15 mile commute on the open road? Have you ever clocked a trip from point A to point B and come up with an average speed for an all out effort? I have a 48 volt bike and my best average speed was 26.9 mph for 39 miles. I wish more people posted things like that.
For 15 miles I could roll 35 for sure. For a prior video, went 30+ miles avg 23MPH or so. Maybe we'll test this in a future video.. RUGER

I don't want any speed/power regulation on e-bikes. They don't do that with cars or motorcycles, yet anyway. My local trail has a 15mph limit in town, 25mph out. If I want to go faster I stick to the roads where nobody cares. You have some nice trails, is there a speed limit?

Yeah I feel the pain. I can't sell my custom Trek 4500 with the 750w Bafang with the 48v-10.4ah battery that spent close to $1200 in 2022. I am only asking $900 B/O

Hey there! I go about 35-40 miles before range anxiety completely sets in. Probably could go more but, by that time I'm tired of riding. 👍👍 RUGER
Comment period for the CSPC ebike regulation is open now. I had words for them.
"There are two types of people in the world. Those who wish to control others, and those without such a desire. Instead of regulating and restricting everything down to the level of the dumbest, least competent, and least capable, how about we just inform everyone that "the world is dangerous, and everything will kill you if you are stupid." Our current tactic of overregulation has created a world safe for fools, and the sharp rise in the number of fools has seriously skewed the charts on accidents. I will agree with one regulation regarding ebikes. A mandatory label from the factory that states: "Everything you misuse will kill you if you misuse it hard enough. Ride at your own risk and within your own capabilities. You are responsible for everything that happens to you. Make good choices, and don't be stupid."
Anything is else is intrusive nanny state BS and will lead to a nation of incompetent fools, who blame everyone but themselves for what happens to them. Wait a minute, that pretty well describes what we have today, under the protection of the CPSC. I still ride my '85 Honda 350X ATC, so obviously the CPSC has been a burr under my saddle for most of my 58 years on the planet."
Excellent response to the CSPC. YES, I had an '82 185s and '86 250R - greatest platform ever...all taken away by the pillars of society saving us from ourselves. And that's my short version......... RUGER

I can’t imagine seeing this bike triggering a lot of people. It looks like a “bike”..there’s surrons, talarias and solar eclipse riding on bike lanes..and no one cares
