I think what you are saying is that you would want a Suron type ebike for more versatility. The people that have these Wired Freedom bikes go where they have not been able to go before. That might be the best thing about this bike. I also heard you talk about acceleration. My big thing is with me living next to the Rockies I would want the power to be in the low gears to get up the mountain. I would like a geared hub. If there is a 30 mile range. I think it would take 10 miles for me to get into the mountains so I guess I could do 5 miles in the mountain and then come back. I am pretty sure that the bike trails have a 10 mph speed limit but I bet there are 10 speeds that have been going 45 mph. There are also a lot of people on the trails. Even if I want to do 45 mph I will probably be good with doing 20 mph.
Yes, Surron 'type' power that looks like a normal bike (i.e. adjustable height seat, gooseneck bars, etc.). Torque is king for sure. It'll get you wherever you want to go. Maybe a quick solar charge will get you back or deepen your exploration. Thanks for watching. We are on the forefront of quick bikes. R U G E R
I have it on good authority that a good size e-bike company is bringing out a bike like Talaria and Surron and it will be faster and under 4. But I cannot say anything more. I just bought a bike and should be del mid May.
Most of my friends have Sur Rons, but if I'm going to upgrade it will be something like a Lyric Voodoo or Spark Javelin that I can register and ride on the streets like a light electric motorcycle. Until then, I'm fine with a RadMini folding bike that looks stock, fits IN my trunk, and goes over 40mph. I do enjoy the stealth factor of being ignored by police and park rangers, so that's worth something😉
When I looked into E-powered bikes my target was a bike that has trail hooligan speed but still looks like a fairly normal bike (A Sleeper). That's how I came to the Wired Freedom. I live in the Denver area these days and live next to a vast bike path system. I looked at the Sur-Ron type bikes and came to the conclusion that if I tried to ride that on the bike paths the Karen's and other concerned citizens would attack me relentlessly, as they chant Shame..Shame. They do look damn fun though. Still another month till the Freedom arrives.
Soon you'll be in the pocket...soon! Karen/Kaitlin's hate the Wired too.,...so, Tell the Karens' there's a girl scout kookie sale at Sears....they'll run... RUGER
It's never too cold to ride. It's all about how you dress. I ride year-round in Michigan. My current low-temp ride record is -10° F. My coldest ride this past winter was 1°, and I was overdressed and got hot.
Building your own is lots of fun and you can make it go as fast as you want. CYC Motors. The Giant Sedona might not be a good candidate. I did a build on a Giant Escape and the thinner tires made it unstable. If you pick a good fixed tail MTB you will love what you create. I often want to jump on my home made Ebike over my store bought ebikes because they are tweeked exactly the way you like them. The downside of the home made bikes is they never look as clean. If that is important to you.
Speaking of Surrons and that your decent enough to avoid riding one on public bike trails, you should see these channels where I see em ripping around Chicago or LA neighborhoods and not catching any shit about it. Im not sure what is worse, the fact they are riding around like that where kids play OR that everybody, including police dont give a hoot, OR more likely, they arent allowed to do anything about it because that would be {add your fav identity politics insult that is not applicable in the least here}, yup, I went there... Anyway, props for being respectful on public trails and keep up the good rides!
Yes, I've seen those channels. Big cities like that always have lawlessness. I hope my area (Phoenix) never gets that way. These days I think one can walk past a cop and smoke meth without fear of arrest. It's just how society has become......... thanks for watching! RUGER
My vote, get a E-cells Five Star. Compare it to the Freedom for several rides. Then sell the loser and keep the winner. That way I don't have to buy an E-cells to do the same test 😅
Great videos my dude! I want that same color here very very soon. Ride safe and keep the vids coming✌️

Ended up at the last resort again, never lets me down. Good stuff as always.

Yes, we always need to approach any build (bike, car, cycle, etc.) with care. Even 43mph on thin ''path' bike tires should be careful pondered! RUGER
