Being able to use a mouse for shooter games on Switch will finally actually let console players be at the same level of skill as pc players, since they always have a higher advantage with keyboard and mouse compared to console with so much less control.
Gyro is already on par with mouse. The only difference is that more people are used to mouse than gyro, so the mouse just lowers the skill floor so more people stand a chance, while keeping the skill ceiling the same it's always been. Keyboard and mouse is not always better than controller. It's a matter of how balanced controller is. Many shooter games in the modern age have the problem that it's more advantageous to use controller because they actually play better than keyboard and mouse which makes a lot of people switch to controller because of it even. It all depends on how well the devs handle controller. A lot of devs like to make the controllers too good so that they outperform mouse which is its own problem. Then you have Splatoon on the opposite side of the spectrum where the stick controllers are not supported in the slightest by Nintendo, which is why stick controls are made fun of in the game.
@@Freelancer837 Gyro does get close or is pretty much on par with Mouse, that I agree. I'm only saying that when you have a mouse, you have the best control of your camera because you can move it fast and stop it whenever you want and slow it down. With a stick (not gyro), you pretty much can’t do that. Gyro is a good thing (but your arms/hands are also what keeps the controller from shifting), while on a mouse, you can simply stop the movement wherever. I'm saying this because whenever I play a PC game, I am (not the best) but really good at aiming (especially with longer-ranged weapons), but whenever I try that on a game with a stick (controller), I suck ass because I have less control over my movement as much as I have it on a mouse. Gyro solves the problem and makes it either pretty much like on mouse or extremely close to it. Gyro tends to work better with third-person shooters like Splatoon than first-person shooters like Overwatch.
I'd love like, tricolour but on drugs essentially. We should have a massive map and have a quartecolour battle where its 4v4v4v4 and you each come in from a different side
I wonder how the Pro Controller would look like, unless it's going to be the "same" model as the original? Probably change it up a little, I don't know but PLEASE fix the drift for these new controllers.
What we need is bigger player count matches, more customization, bring BACK boy and girl only cloths and hair, a new playable species like Cuttlelings, more modes, bigger and more open maps in campaign, coop, we need to Make Splatoon Great Again not half assed garbage that most of 3 was.
I 100% agree with the bring back boy and girl only clothes and hair, I'm so sick and tired of having to tell who's who by having to look at their eyes and or voice. Oh, and the eyebrows, too.
@@Gamer-m2x1v Speaking of which, I hope Nintendo brings back gender opinions in Splatoon 4 in the future, and I hope Nintendo will take notes from Atlyss.

Why do you want separated clothes and hairstyles back? Genuine question
I agreed with all of this, 3 was truly bad, I only absolutely love side order and some bits of the story mode...
hell nah my inkling girl can have whatever hair she wants
