    Look guys yes I know audio is lower then normal. These are recovered files from a while back that got lost. I had a sd card go corrupt and I lost 4 days of work. I sent the SD card out to have the files recovered. And the audio was enhanced as much as possible. It was either this or nothing.... so bare with it

      The audio is way low bro. But the visual is on point. It’s just good to really here those experienced golden nuggets you drop in your videos.

    I did that back in 73, cutouts done at Atlantic mufflers in East Los Angeles, I was the to my knowledge the first to have machined cups and donuts.. done by a friend's father at casket foundry on 3rd st.. East L. A. also, I used 3/4 ton truck coils to whip anyone that dared hope against my 63 or 66.. used to carry couple 2x4 squares for those times I blew a hose. My father got tired of seeing blowing hoses.. he plumbed my cars with copper pipe end up with just a 5 inch braided hose for cylinder movement.. I did some upside down setups to avoid cut outs which were for show only.. all my hydro items we bought in Norwalk near slauson or hazard projects from military surplus companies.. memories..

  • @jaredhays3331

    What information do you have on converting a 1964 bel-air 2 door post into a impala

  • @turbostarion86
    @turbostarion86 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    thanks for the info man! i do have a question though about the cylnders, do they get mounted to the car or do you just push them in and have the pressure of the coil or hydraulic fluid holding them into place against the frame

    • @thedevil3890
      @thedevil3890 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The bolt on bottom keeps the cup secured to the cylinder along with the donut which essentially keeps it stuck in place so the cylinder can not go through the hole cut in the a-arm. That's why the bolt on bottom is so important.

    • @turbostarion86
      @turbostarion86 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@thedevil3890 How about for the rear, guessing the same idea goes along with that but instead of the a arm it'll be the frame rail? Just trying to research as much as i can before i cut my LTD

    Its better to use a file and Emory cloth or sand paper for the square hole in the trunk instead of power sander or blade.

    • @alexhoppos909

      No definitely not you don't want to weld onto a heat treated coil it could cause it to Crack or loose tension

    15:53 to 16:02 did anybody see the pilot hole difference i mean im not knocking anyone by any means because ive had my fair share of fuck ups but honestly im a pickler for details and this coming from a custom shop i would have done the proof editing like what you see on this side will be duplicated on the other just to save face. Lord knows ive done some make up cover up stuff to keep face. Just saying dont publicize criticized work. Keep your mistakes to minimum
