The front yard looks so beautiful. Loved both the tapestries. There is a cream face pot wth portulacaria. I feel the beautiful lady head planter you have can be really worked up and placed next to it. I used to love the covid lockdown small projects you did especially with the grey lady head planter.
Oh it’s super cute!! Thankyou for the tour of your front garden. I think you’ve done a lovely job of marrying in succulents to the existing landscape. It’s a beautiful house and love how everything is settling in nicely. Perfect opportunity for a fountain rehab soon we hope. That would be so fun Bless you Laura we love you too ❤
Thank you for sharing your front yard. It is beautiful as your backyard. You are such an artist, Laura. It may be a rental, but you have made it beautiful and comfortable for you to enjoy. Happy Gardening.
It looks so cute! Especially considering that you can’t alter the grass and shrubs. I like the collection of tall cacti against that stark wall, turned out nice even though it was a challenge to work with!
Hi, l’m Marta, from Spain!Love your vídeos!❤Learn so much with you, about succulents.😀 In the South we have the same climate as yours in California, so I can use the same plants!🥰
Hi Laura hopefully your neighbor didn’t see this video😂😂😂😂 but I agree with you. Your side of the wall looks so much better. Maybe you can convince your landlord to allow you to pull those hedges from the walk way and you can do 2 more tapestries so it all corresponds together. And still keep the lawn. Just a thought
I forgot all about the front of the house cacti and succulents, you don’t go there often. Everything looks beautiful and will wait patiently for the water fountain planting make over.I really like the look of the Portulacaria minima but get the overgrowth problem. The only thing I like in your neighbor’s garden is the Sago Palm as a backdrop to your design.
What about Crassula pellucida variegata as groundcover? I love it in pots but sadly here in Ireland it has to come indoors in winter, but for you not so
Hi Laura! I’m from Santa Barbara and recently moved to Madera, CA at Riverstone, new construction home site. I love succulents and palm trees! There is a lot of clay here which has been “amended” with compost around the house. We currently have grass/concrete, queen palm, olive and persimmon trees around back. I really want to add a bunch of succulents around front and rest of back yard but I’m afraid because I’m not sure what will thrive here and where. Can you please suggest what I can grow in full sun, full and partial sun? I love blue chalk sticks, echeveria, scented olive tree (I know this is not succulent) agaves, and similar looking beautiful succulents. I can’t find my zone because it’s a new build site however, I can throw a rock at a neighbor for proximity of houses built ex. Can you please advise?? BTW I have a modern farmhouse style home w grey brick and I want some nice curb appeal to blend…
I hope they see that Laura is stating her own preference, If I were walking past the two gardens, I would stop and admire both. The many years of healthy growth of the sago palm is something I appreciate and respect. The sheared shrubs farther back remind me of Japanese gardens that used sheared shrubs as large boulders might be expected. Vive la difference!
If your neighbor is offended, you can come be my neighbor, Laura! (Not sure your succulents and cacti would be as happy in upstate New York, but it’s worth a try!) L O L ❤
If I am your landlord I would let you go crazy with the landscape 😂❤

Excellent solo video Laura Eubanks. Inspiring. Gave me several ideas and energy to go for it.
So glad!

So beautiful some pots on the stairs/pathway would look great. tie it altogether
“Does a bear 💩 in the woods?” I love the unfiltered moments!
I love this garden so much but I live in tropical country....can they withstand rain?

What do you use as pest control? Whether preventive or treatment?
🙋
Which state do you live in ?
You sacculent. Gorges. ., and look healthy. How old they are?
Your side is more visually interesting.
Why do people plant a huge tall plant in front of the window?? Bummer.
I think you have to be careful showing someone else’s yard they may get a fended. Unless they said it was okay.

The front yard is considered public. He can get offended, but it’s legal or that’s what the cops told me when I was filming my neighborhood.
With Google Earth, wouldn't you think we should be more mindful of that?
