That’s what I was thinking as well, every time he grabbed a container full of succulent cuttings. A succulent grower (especially a plant expert) already knows how to handle his or her babies properly. Primarily, these plants have very plumpy and juicy leaves and stem that are prone to bruising or even breakage. Once bruised, they will bear it their whole life.

New to the channel. Thanks for sharing the awesome video . The interviewee was so knowledgeable and passionate about what he does understandably why. I live in NC I started my interest for succulents, cactus, air plants & orchids working in the lowes garden center for years. Amazing plants what's not to love.

So glad I clicked on this video! I love succulents, but again, my lack of a green thumb gets in the way. So give them sun, but not too much direct sun, and do not over water. Got it. I loved the advice on half cactus mix with half potting soil. Will do that now. Funny enough, most of my plants died last year due to white flies, over watering, over fertilizing, etc. But the kolancho, that sucker keeps chugging along! It was the only plant to survive under any condition it was put to! It sat in a place with lots of sun and was over watered like my other plants, but the sucker thrived. I brought it inside for the winter and it started growing, flowering, and putting out air roots! My type of plant. LOL

Lol everyone chill. Yes, he's obviously gonna handle his plants slightly rougher than a private grower who's got a lot more to lose if that one plant is bruised, but the way you guys are reacting it's like you think these plants are made of glass. You can grab and lightly throw plants without hurting them, I promise.
