he remember the credit card details and is trying to order bird food online but he getting frustrated now because people keep pulling him away from the computer.
I've always wanted a crow my self. lol but I have NO idea how to care for birds lol We all ready have a Husky as it is lol. Just keep reminding your self how much fun it is to clean bird poo off everything. thats what I do LOL I love crows but, I my self do not feel I am up to the task of giving proper care and quality of life to an animal meant to fly free. I know I could learn but with 3 kids and a Husky I have my hands full all ready LOL
+Nicole Lendman Not only that. Crows are notoriously destructive. They are inquisitive and are not shy about expressing their curiosity. Some are also narcissists and enjoy pranking you.
I had a pet pigeon I rescued, it was also curious about my laptop, like cats, birds can see the attention you give computers and become curious too. I used to put on documentaries about birds and pigeon intelligence and she would sit on my lap and watch. Every now and again she'd try to type too. I think they instinctively want to copy their parents / carers as young juvenile birds, so if you take him outside and poke around in the ground with a worm to teach him to catch worms and bugs, that would be good too. ✌
Heh. Edgar recognizes that the computer is A) glowing (which is like shiny but even better) and B) warm (and thus amazing to sit on). He probably thinks that it's literally the greatest thing ever.
electricbayonet2 Actually, Crows are HIGHLY intelligent, Scientists are coming to the conclusion that Crows are actually about as clever, if not more than Great Apes!
Awww, what a lovely crow Edgar is. ❤❤ Crows are such wonderful and remarkable birds. Thank you SO MUCH for your wonderful care, love, and kindness in raising Edgar. Wonderful video. ❤❤☺☺
Crows are so smart but aside from that for some reason they can have humans fall in love and attached to them so much . I had a baby crow when I was a kid . He lived with us for many years and acted like he was family. He was funny as sh@#.Thanks for sharing.
A crow lived under our piano for 24 years. She lived at the zoo for a couple years and the new zoo director said "she's too ugly to stay here, get rid of her". So we took her and fed her moistened cat food and scraps. She could fly but couldn't perch. One time she flew up onto the roof and another crow came and pecked her and she fell off the roof into the Lilac bush. We have many great memories of her. She lived with 5 cats during her life and 2 dogs. Crows are very messy and take a lot of effort to keep them clean.
I have a crows nest in my yard....I fed them just now and they loved the dog food.....just minutes after I put it out.......I wanna steal a baby crow, but wonder what I am in for ....the parents will be pissed off and will harass me for years cause they will see it on my shoulder
I've been feeding my birds in my neighbourhood since november, now in June, they are all having babies, so now I have a baby magpie and baby crow following me around, calling me and sitting on my roof to say hi. I get their friendship but don't need to clean their poop, which is fine by me. 😊
I had a baby fieldfare for a summer. It would do the same thing and try to sit on my hand while I was working on the computer. She also liked to sit on top of my laptop because it was nice and warm.
My journey has begun today with Jake I just found and with help from your vids and others I’m on the rite track but will release him later for now it’s Shawshank redemption time lol
I have raised a baby crow. Hand fed on fortified corn mush. Buzz was the hit of the neighborhood. I do not recommend raising a crow if you have a metal storm door, unless you enjoy being awakened by the sound of it being pecked. In retrospect, I should have left the food out the night before. One day, a neighbor asked me, at work, if I had seen Buzz today. She said she saw a young couple walking by her house with a crow on the fellow's shoulder and wondered if it was Buzz. I never saw Buzz again. Either they caged him, or they had a better food supply. I can't imagine. Many of my neighbors enjoyed feeding him.
Fantastic stuff, we have our own Edgar living for the moment in our greenhouse. Id guess he is still a little younger than the bird on the video, as he still has some baby feathers, and the last tube was still wrapped around a feather...but he is hopping around fine with good balance, and feeding fairly well from my hand. I was wondering how many weeks will it take until I can safely release him
omg I research and just looking up videos of pet Ravens and then I saw this and I'm freaking out because I want to name mine the same noon and teach it to say Nevermore
I just cut a Christmas bell off a santa toy and hooked some shiny stainless steel wire bent into a hook and put it with the dog food the crows are eating.........I wonder if they will hang it in the tree.........they love shiny stuff
There is a baby crow living on my porch right now & it won't leave. It's mommy flys by every once in awhile. I've done my research and talked to wildlife rescue & they said its best to leave it alone! I'm not sure why you have a wild animal but they need to stay with their mommas or they will be sad, the one on my porch cries & it breaks my heart :( I'm hoping he reunites with his mommy soon. It's only been a day. He's still leaning to use his wings but he's about the size of Edgar here
I just found a younger crow than this one on the side of the road, i really need help with it, im making some eggs and oats for it to eat now but please if anyone has any advice i want this little one to survie
There are places that breed them to sell as pets, they're very slowly becoming well-known as pets and companions. They live for a VERY long time in captivity and are extremely intelligent. If it's legal in your area as well, you can keep a baby that fell from a nest if it's absolutely necessary.
Edgar allen crow
cute
Thank
boraberryful hahahahahaha that's a good one!
