Multi layer shell element is only suitable for RCC wall and not for unreinforced masonry. Sap2000 can not be considered suitable for notlinear masonry analysis as non-linear analysis of masonry required built in nonlinear material model within software (eg. mohr coulmb theory or other plastic theory), which is not available in sap2000.

There is few non linear analysis option in sap2000, but those are not suitable for masonry buildings.

How can i provide the stiffness of mortar?
This is macro model approach so no meaning of mortar stiffness. Provide E value (Elastic Modulus) of masonry.
