Another Logia user with an awakening that I believe exists is actually Crocodile, though the concept of awakening didn’t really exist during the Alabasta arc. At one point, Crocodile mentions training your devil fruit abilities to reach a new level, then proceeds to show how he can suck the moisture from anything to create more sand. I believe that was an awakening ability since he is not producing that sand from his body, but is rather converting something else into sand similarly to how Doflamingo’s awakening allowed him to covert other materials into string.

The One Piece world does have a very interesting power system in it mainly because they can either be used to counter the other or be utilized with each other.
Though, he forgot that there are more than 4 systems. Martial art is one of them (Rokushiki, Okama Kenpo, Fishman Karate, Ryusoken etc). As far as we have seen this category is a pure refinement of physical capabilities. Training these martial arts can make someone easily demolish a building without a drop of sweat.
If you have a secret technique (or gifted) like that king in Dressrosa, you will probably be able to destroy a mountain (with no Haki, just pure raw physical power). At first, I thought they all were just variations of Haki techniques. But Who's Who proved me wrong when he used Haki only to amplify the damage output of Rokushiki techniques.

I have heard a counter to conquers birthright requirement. The requirements for unlocking conquers haki are very high, which means very few ever obtain it, i think there are more conquers users in the story now then there were in the timeline at the start of the series.
I don't think the are that much of conqueror at this moment, mabye the gods knights .
@@heavenlyway108 It's probably there is simply a higher concentration of conquerors in one spot rather than there being more. I don't the number really has gone up just that things are developing where all the conquerors are just gathering in one area.
I personally think though that conquerors isn't something you are born with, it's something you are raised into I'd have to look where but I aremember it being said conquerors don't bow to death. It makes me wodner if maybe the prerequisite for conquerors is the willingness to face death. Your willingness to chase your goal no matter the cost. It's why I think Usopp and maybe even Nami may eventually have conquerors near the end of the story since Usopp constantly faces fear and his lies tend to come true and Nami was willing to face Kaido herself if it meant standing up for Luffy
My theory is some are born with potential that they need to work towards unlocking, but need help to succeed. That help comes from other Conquerer users, or in Zoro's case, a Black Blade coated in Conqueror's Haki. Clash with a Conqueror, and you may become one as well.
@@commonviewer2488 zoro did not get conqueror's thanks to enma, he had it before ( it has been mentioned multiple times that he was special in that regard, the oldest I can think of is when urouge thought he was the captain of the crew on saboady) and if you want to argue enma made zoro stronger ( which is kind of true but probably not in the sense you're thinking of*), it would be for unlocking advanced conqueror's not the regular one that you're either born with or will it into existence depending on what's the actual method that oda wil reveal in due time.
*the argument I could see for enma making zoro stronger is by sucking out his haki by force which led to him realizing he had conqueror's, it's litterally explained when he gets it that it drains haki, hence the skinny arm, once he realized he had it he mastered it which is better seen in the anime than in manga against king due to the color changing
I would even argue it's also because of kaido telling him that he realized he had it, he was using it without knowing it before ( which I'll admit is being caused by enma) which is why he was able to scar kaido and then used it willingly against king
@@julesm5892 You are further proving my point. My statement was that some people who have Conqueror's Haki have the power remain dormant until they clash with another with the ability. Ace and Big Mom are seen to use it unconsciously from a young age, while Luffy and Zoro had to be pit against overwhelming force to unlock theirs.
Let's hope voice of all things is also covered. I feel that's going to play a large part in the later story as a power system

I'm surprised Akainu isn't on the list of Conqueror Haki users. In an SBS, Oda mentioned that if he wanted to, Sakazuki could set off on his own and find the One Piece within a year, which is a testament to how strong he is. Now if that isn't a heavy implication of Conqueror's Haki, then I don't know what is.

I think you missed one major aspect of the one piece power System. Martial Arts
Haoshoken, fishman karate/jujitsu, Diablo Jamie/black leg, Rokushiki, Okama Kenpo, Dragon style are all style that grant the users versatility and power to compete with devil fruits

Thinking about the Crocodile fight, I'm realizing that it was a very specific detail of "foreshadowing" Luffy learning Haki coating. He had to coat himself with liquid in order to hit Crocodile much like he had to coat himself with different types of Haki with every major enemy he encounters...🤔
Types of paramecia for me
A)Property - alows the user have the property of a material passively
B) Transform - Alows the user to transform into things actively(weight is also in this)
C) Ritual - Needs a certain task to activate its effect like touching and many more
D) Gestures - needs hand gestures to activate it
E) Zonal - you can activate this ability in a limited area
For simplicity i always just said that paramecia gives your body a certian property that isnt elemental like logia or animal based like zoans.

0:58 armament haki is only invisible sometimes, in cases like gear 4 and Red Roc where there are large ''amounts'' of armament are being used, haki does make the body black and shiny like metal (at least that's the vibe it gives)

When the categories were introduced, the Zoan Fruit was said to be the middle-tier, not the weakest. Paramecia were labeled the weakest. Though I dispute that, since while some of the weakest users are paramecia-powered, the nature of those powers varies so much and can change in expression so much based on how you train to (ab)use them that they really are just all over the place.
Dont forget Rokushiki, basically Martial Arts is another power system so 5 power systems unless I'm forgetting something.
I think it's just a martial art from such as Kung Fu/Karate/Tae Kwon Do

Teach's darkness fruit could be a kraken fruit as it creates ink (darkness) swallows up everything it touches and nullifies other devil fruit abilities because the user is temporarily unable to see their specific devil fruit "devil" clearly.

It does seem like there is actually 2 categories of awakening and each fruit falls into one of those two categories. There is the lesser awakening which is easy to obtain, so much so that we don't even think to call it awakening, and the Greater awakening, which is the extremely difficult awakening we know of which offers clear and significant changes to the abilities. I do think though there is a Partial awakening as well, which may actually be the explanation for the lesser awakening as just being a partial awakening instead.
We definitely see numerous fruits though have abilities far beyond what they should offer. Robins fruit for instance is all about creating extremities or limbs, but later on she can start sprouting just about anything she wants, and fuse them to create giant versions or even full body clones. Brook learned to separate his soul from his body, Crocodile could turn things into sand (just sucking up water doesn't do that). Heck, maybe Katakuris ability to turn himself into mochi is actually part of his awakening, and is a trait many of the Pharmacia fruits that are based on substances have, but its just so rare to even partially awaken that most don't know about it. And of course the Zoan fruits have the Impel down guards, and even Choppers Monster point (or his other transformations). Lastly, at least in regards to partial awakenings, we saw Luffys Gear 4th have that smoke cape which both he and Lucci also got when they fully awakened. In general though, all these fruits and so many more have strange abilities that their base fruit doesn't imply it would grant, but would make sense as an awakening. The influence of the fruit is extended to more things, and the limits are lifted.
It just doesn't make sense for these fruits to have these abilities or traits unless they are awakened. That is why I think there is a lesser awakening that some fruits have which is easier to obtain but is also weaker, or at least they are partial awakenings of the fruit. It would actually make sense if Normal Zoan fruits have a much easier time awakening, and while its an insane power boost (like Choppers monster point), its also simpler and weaker in comparison to other awakenings. Some Pharmacia may also fall into this category, such as the ones discussed above, the awakening only extends the reach a little bit and is instead a focus on the abilities own limits being removed. Then most Pharmacia, Logias, and Mythical Zoans are on the greater end, because its not just about being a stronger version of the ability but allowing it to affect other things, such as the environment. Due to the vast increase in potential, they proportionately are vastly more difficult to awaken.
That's quite a theory and I appreciate the effort put into it! I feel as though there's more to Devil Fruits than meets the eye. Luffy's awakening doesn't make him a god, just lets him change the rules in really wacky ways. I do wonder if there's a final awakening of a fruit at full potential, as a way to counter the sheer strength Haki has.

If emotional instability made it harder or impossible to use observation haki then Usopp should barely be able to use his observation haki in a fight since he is always freaking out and on the verge of a panic attack. Imagin just how OP his haki will be once he stops being afraid of everything, God Usopp will be right... hes gona be able to see EVERYTHING, everywhere hrs ahead of time.

I'd like to think that sometime in the future Usopps fear of something become's so big that it just manifests itself as conqueror's haki because he will kind of gain the "kingly ambition" to not want to do something haha.

logia: allows the user to become an element or produce seemingly infinite amounts of the element

Heres a common misconception, black blades strength is still within their meito ranking, their main trait is that they are seemeingly indestructible or just extremely hard, they are also presumably heavier than other blades of the same size, due to this they cant lose their edge, its stated using a haki on a blade can "temporarily make it a black blade" which is where we know they cant lose their edge, its also stated that when a black blade is made it might go up a rank, shusui was the second lowest rank before it became the middle rank when it became a black blade, while we dont know about yoru, its stated enma might become a supreme blade if it becomes a black blade

Why Doesn’t Anyone Take Advantage of Devil fruit weapons? By that I mean things like Spamdam blade called FunkFreed that consumed a Zoan devil fruit and can turn to a elephant. it wasn’t explained where or how he got the sword but It is said Vegapunk is the one responsible for discovering You can Mix devil fruits and blades into one so My theory is VegaPunk Likely the one who made Devil fruit weapons for the world government and marines in the past but only made a few of them which is why some are seen held by people now and then and only a rare few remain.But What if VegaPunk Also Created Mythical Zoan Blades just like Spamdam sword Funkfreed was able to turn into a elephant due to its zoan so the mythical blade would be able to turn into the mythical creature or gods of the devil fruit it consumed,If someone Had Numerous of these mythical blades they would have control over Numerous Mythical creatures and gods and someone like Imu Definitely Would’ve been been able to have the things like the resources to do something like this and be able to create a large army of Mythical Beings to fight for her Plus since they’re Still blades it would make sense the user can imbue their Haki into them making the creatures stronger and if not Her It’s definitely an idea Zoro should’ve done while at Egghead island since Oda Said Himself He wanted Zoro to have a dragon devil fruit But for his sword to turn into a dragon,If kaido is dead(Which I doubt) this would’ve been a good opportunity for that after Wano,But There are other things that come into play like Zoans having their own Will so getting a mythical Creature to Obey to you might be tougher then other zoans,It is just an idea though that I feel like isn’t Explained much on but I do hope oda expands more on it in the future

Hi I made my own form of haki known as haki zone basically like Mana Zone from Black Clover You need to have all 3 forms of haki to unlock it because of haki is everywhere in the plants in the ground and the air And because those forms of haki is very weak you need to Observation to sense it Armament to enhance it and finally
Conqueror's to control it Thus, the user can gather together and utilize more haki than they would be able to normally. Offensively, this haki can be funneled into their attacks, to increase their size, number, and range. It can also be used to launch attacks in any direction and from any direction within the zone. attacks can be created all-around a target to keep them from escaping, within an enemy's haki to destroy it like future site, or behind a target to catch them by surprise. Defensively, the Haki can be used to sharpen Observation and heighten reaction time as well as to augment Armament and other
Reinforcement techniques, And if they are surrounded by hostile Haki, uses can use Haki Zone to create a space of condensed and thickened

I don’t think you mentioned about the theory why imu and the gorosei have lived since the void century. The theory is that the ope ope no mi special ability has been used a total of six time to make them live since the void century which is why the world government were willing to pay 5 billion berries for the furit from trafalgar law(he declined).

The science part reminds me of the age before the dark ages when books and knowledge were burned and destroyed here in the real world. For example the technology and method that the ancient Egyptians use to build pyramids with precise measurements.

I do predict that the Fake/Cloned Devils fruits can't awaken. This might be the actual reason why MoMos fruit is considered a failure (or maybe it doesn't have a "devil" which I would assume still means it can't awaken), and the fact that the Dragon is Pink might just be the assumption of others.
Swords can be as powerful or as weak as their weilder.

Haki is the strongest thing in one piece other than maybe science because kaido says “Haki at Roger’s level could beat any devil fruit” though imagine someone with Roger’s haki and a op blade like Yoru with a good devil fruit to compliment that no one could beat them even 5 if the strongest fighters might struggle

Some of my favorite powers/item in the One Piece world are the swords and devil fruits! It's really cool that there are only a certain number of these unique items and abilities, so that is a brilliant way to keep things "fair."
My favorite sword, at least based on design, is Zoro's Yubashiri (RIP), and my two favorite devil fruits would have to be Eneru's Goro Goro no Mi (lightning fruit) and Gem's (Mr. 5) Bomu Bomu no Mi (bomb-bomb fruit).
The fact that all these great weapons can be countered by that random marine that appeared once and never came back XD

This has nothing to do with the video, and probably some one else has already noticed this and put it in some video in the internet but... talking about how Oda put details and clues of foreshadowing all over the manga, I just noticed something. Originally the manga was going to be named "Romance Dawn", and although it changed to "One Piece", "Romance Dawn" is an expresion used many times since the very beggining (It is the name of the first chapter)... dawn is the rise of the sun, the start of its travels across the sky... same as Luffy, the sun god Nikka, starts his journey to become the king of pirates.
Great analysis. The only issue i have is in the beginning you seem surprised that a metal pipe would shatter swords. This is the case in almost all scenarios. Swords shatter vs clubs. They also chip on metal shields. 😅❤
? Are there 2 more types of observation haki? Like what Mihawk and Zoro and then what ever Eneru has?
