I like the Bottle Fruit. Its like an external version of Capone's fruit. Which is something you see a lot in the series. Fruits that have similar abilities but function differently.
Dance Dance Fruit: when the user dances, anyone seeing the user dancing will automatically synchronize and become "back up dancers". Music is not needed, "Back up dancers" bodies will be forced to copy exactly to the users moves No offensive power, no defensive power It's a trapping/stalling with draining power "Back up dancers" will not only use up their energy and fat and muscles, but the user will burn through the "back up dancers" instead of their own too. The user also has the ability to transfer both theirs and their "back up dancers" energy to another person by dance.
I have an idea. Empa Empa fruit. (Empanada, the goddess of pandas.) This fruit gives you the power to become a panda. The halfway form would be a panda head human body. When you're in the half panda form, bamboo sticks are just as sharp as a katana and strong as emeralds. You can climb easier. The downside is you're very tempted to eat the bamboo sticks, you get very tired easily, and you get side character syndrome.
I personally believe Dragon has the STORM fruit and he represents "THE STORM" that the Celestial Dragon fear the D. clan will bring. In a way this would make him a prophetic figure just like Joyboy. 2 important figures who will bring an end to the Celestial Dragons
The recent episode actually used a title for dragon ‘the insurgent serpent’ which is based on a real life mythological creature from South American culture (which dragons design seems to resemble) called the Amaru which is a two headed serpent said to be able to cause sudden changes in its environment and is the harbinger of rain, revolutions and winds of change’ Which I think describe what dragon represents and what we’ve seen him do perfectly.
How about a different gameo gameo no mi: If you are fighting someone you can call for a “game time” where no combat is allowed and you start playing a specific game that both opponents have to agree on… it can be anything like rock paper scissor, or catch… The winner of the game will get a buff of there choosing after the game for certain amount of time. The buff is also based on the difficulty of the game… if you win you can call for another game instead of getting a buff… and if you get a win streak then when you get a buff your opponent will also get a restriction, kinda like a negative buff… which means you can turn off someone’s haki or devil fruit powers for 5 seconds for example. The downsides is that the user never gets to choose a game by himself as the opponent has to agree on a game. Also the opponent can also call for another game building a win streak for buffs for them selfs
I remember sanji wanting the clear clear fruit, then I thought of a better version of this fruit. The vani vani no mi. You don’t just disappear 🫥 like the clear clear fruit, you completely vanish from reality and can come back wherever you want. Teleporting basically. Pros, when you vanish, like sugar toy fruit, enemies forget they were fighting you leaving them confused at why they were fighting to begin with. All enemy attacks pass through you. Cons, Allies also forget you was there while vanishing and without proper control you can even forget yourself

Gacha gacha no mi: makes a gacha gacha machine with a bunch of devil fruit powers in it. Whatever one comes out at random you get to use that power for 10 minutes. Downside is there are a lot of not that good powers. Imagine rolling a goro goro or gura gura though. Boro Boro no mi: crumble crumble fruit - instantly crumbles or disintegrates anything you make contact with, can only disintegrate people if they have weaker haki than you though. Kuu-kuu no mi: the space space fruit - allows you to warp space within a specific range, can bring things closer to you and bend projectiles around you. Very good for disorienting opponents, and if you are proficient you can use it to fly or send your opponents flying. Boko-boko no mi: the pummel pummel fruit, the damage your punches do to enemies increases exponentially with each time you hit them, if you punch them 100 times it can hit as hard as king punch. Michi-michi no mi: road road fruit - lets you make a road wherever you want to - can let you cross oceans or walk up to sky islands, doesnt do much other than that but could be cool to have a crew of pirates who just drive around everywhere. Pasa-Pasa no mi: paper-paper fruit. Turns you into a paper person, can make yourself light and extrmely thin. Can use haki to strengthen the paper to cut people and by awakening can turn other people and objects into paper. Gyaku-gyaku no mi: the reverse-reverse fruit - can flip and reverse anything concievable, attacks will go the opposite way and can confuse peoples left and rights and ups and downs, if awakened can flip entire islands and ships/buildings. Piri-piri no mi: the spicy-spicy fruit. Can create burning hot sensations on people. Picture a pepper spray human - who can make people around them cry and snot everywhere. Mushi-mushi no mi model (?): insect-insect fruit, has many models, like a bee, a mantis, a fly, a spider. Rero-rero no mi: the lick lick fruit. Allows you to have an incredibly dextrous and powerful tongue. Also your saliva has extremely acidic properties. Ira-ira no mi: anger-anger fruit - can make people angry, and when the user gets angry they get faster and stronger proportionally to how angry they are (think hulk) Beta-beta no mi: the sticky-sticky fruit - allows you to create an incredibly sticky substance that is practically impossible to escape from. The user can use it to walk on walls and have things attach together permanently. Bate-bate no mi: the tired-tired fruit. Instantly drains people of energy. The user never needs to sleep and gets more energetic the more people they drain of energy. Meta-meta no mi: meta-meta fruit - the user becomes eichiro oda.
I think a good limitation of the blood blood fruit would be you have to get some of your own blood into your opponent’s bloodstream. Then you can control them kinda similar to stain’s quirk, and for the blood weapons I think the user will have to use their own blood or anyone who they currently control. But a good upside to the blood weapons they would also all be extremely sharp
yeah, or maybe, you can summon blood out of thin air and materialise it into anything you want, you can also inject posion into the blood for quick kills
If you do a video like this again I got an idea 1. the Suketchi suketchi no mi (sketch sketch fruit) this fruit allows the user to basically use their imagination heres an example (you're fighting the world nobles and you need a quick way to escape, with this fruit you are able to create a whole portal to teleport away) you can also make anything like ussops hammers, your also able to turn into any form for example a really buff sketch character to fight or a character with buff legs to run quick or a big body for protection
Ok so I think the blood blood fruit is super OP for a swordsman character because u could just make a a bunch of cuts on someone and speed up their blood flow to bleed them out super fast and its also useful against swordsmen to slow down ur own bloodflow in certain areas to try and help deal with bleeding externally or internally

The 3 that Id like to see the most in OP are the Snail Snail Fruit, the Spore Spore Fruit, and the Dream Dream Fruit. The Dream Dream Fruit especially. "The dreams of pirates will never end!", it would be a very interesting to see this in the hands of the BB pirates
I had another idea for a busted Devil Fruit. Hito Hito no Mi Model: Yuurei. The user gains the ability to transform into a ghost. As a ghost, they can pass through solid objects, while being able to touch, grab, and move objects around from a distance. If the user enters the body of another person or an animal, they can control the target from the inside against their will. Attacks against a possessed victim have no effect on the user, except for rendering the body unsuitable for inhabitation. Salt can render the user solid, even in ghost form, and weakens the grasp of the user on a possessed body. If the user falls into the sea while possessing someone, the victim is freed and can swim as normal, while the user drowns as all devil fruit users do.
Acid logia would be a pretty cool one. Super destructive in battle, almost like the magma fruit from Akainu but could be countered by acid repellent materials.
imo for the sake of balance, it being a paramecia woudl be cooler, you become immune to acid (but maybe like, it still irritates your body, makes you super itchy or soemthing) and your body produces it rather than become it
A couple of them are like actual fruits such as the dream fruit basically being Uta’s fruit or the mushroom fruit being from the episode of chopper movie villain. Non-canon fruits but still already exist.
This fruit was very similar to my idea the bandit fruit except you just touch the object to store it and can bring it out at any time from a pocket dimension, I feel these fruits are different enough from capones because he has a limited space and can't sommon his stored objects at will, they need to be people physically entering and exiting his body.
My 2 devil fruit ideas: 1) Wishy Washy no mi: When someone makes eye contact with you, they can instantly become indecisive or unsure about any decision they're about to make. Hear me out. Say someone is about to attack you, when they make eye contact with you, they will instantly second guess their decision and be unsure of their resolve. Any pause in a battle can be life threatening, or in this case, could land you a win if you enemy hesitates when they're about to land a fatal blow. This is also great in negotiations because you can convince the most stubborn man or opposing army to support you if your social skills are good enough. Downsides are that this ability doesn't work with observation haki like Katekuri's meaning you can't make him unsure of what he sees in foresight and it is useless to anyone who's blind like Fujitora. 2) Liquid liquid no mi: Allows you to control any liquid-like substance. This means you can control both blood, water, and even lava in it's liquid form. Downsides are that you can't control the ocean since it's naturally the weakness of any devil fruit, and the control over time will use up lots of energy. You would also have to become a strong person since you will still feel the weight of whatever liquid you're controlling. For example, if you lift 20 pounds of lava you will feel how heavy the lava is and only be able to control the Amount you're strong enough to lift. Those are my ideas. I highly doubt anyone will read this but if someone does, please comment! I want to know what you think, whether it be praise or criticism
Wishy Washy no Mi would actually go hard with Future sight, imagine you're negotiating a pay-raise as a Marine and you flat out just knew what to say and when to say anything. I think you should lift the nerf of weight, Magellan is basically just what #2 is but just controls Poison which is also a liquid, once the restriction is lifted AND the controlling isn't limited to just one source of liquid then it'll be Top 7 DFs oat

I've been working on one forever! The Ink Ink Fruit! A Paramecia that can act like a Logia type! It let's the user manipulate the Ink on their body and bring it to life! So like if they make a tattoo of a wolf, the person will have a wolf attached to their body kinda like a leashed dog! This can also make additional body parts like Wings, Tails, and additional Limbs! The user can also absorb ink onto their body! Like Pen ink!
What you described is just Kanjuro's fruit, the overall mindset/process of this DF concept along with the Brush fruit is actually pretty good (Considering you could probably draw a portrait of Kaido/just anyone, add prompt words like "loyal" or "protects to me" then just add a few x's like 2x and so on, and then you have one of the strongest that'll ride or die for your safety). BUT, a better iteration imo is the Scientific and general use of ink itself, the DF will for sure not be as nerdy in cannon, but it'll bounce constantly between Logia and Special Paramecia status... Some ink companies use Water as their main base for their product so that's a plus, it also has properties of resin and wax which harden quick without the base but you could freely manipulate that, the resin and wax should be very durable and would resist tons of forces considering that it needs to be an exaggeration of its in-world form, its viscosity is also already a negater for almost every single attack considering that it has the amount of viscosity as a Non-Newtonian fluid would like Oobleck, paired with the hardening is pretty much the precursor to Armament and could just be EVEN stronger once you realize that ink can also store, reduce and carry out heat which would already render the Heat fruit and the Flame fruit useless, basically tho, if you're in East Blue or just haven't entered New World yet, you pretty much would just have the most versatile Paramecia in the world
I’ve always had an idea that I’ve seen before but not used to its full potential, the sculpt sculpt fruit or mold mold fruit, its ability would be to be able to mold anything into what you choose by touching it. This would work on flesh, steel, wood, or air. You would have to touch the thing and stretch or mold it in any way, it just cannot be disconnected from the rest of whatever it is. This could work by molding the floor upwards to create walls, molding someone’s face to make their eyes be blocked, and even mold something like a metal block into a sword. It would also make you immune to all blunt attacks by just molding your body around the attack. This would make you weak to cutting tho. Anything molded would keep its effect like steel molded would still be steal and any air molded would still be air. This works for water as well so if a person with this fruit try’s to mold seawater they would still get its effects. Another way this fruit could work is by walking through walls or any hard surfaces, you could just mold the wall or roof to your body. Downsides are the mold only last for 1 min to an hour depending on how big it is molded it is even less for living things, and if the living thing tries use whatever was molded will go back to normal even faster.
My personal favourite would be cigarette cigarette no mi. Owned by sanji, i would absolutely love to become black lung just like him. Light D Ciggerate would defo be my new name.

Love that the blood fruit would let you replicate a ton of powers from other shows, literally all of Choso’s abilities from JJK, blood bending from avatar (gotta get your blood into their flow first though that seems fair) along with being able to make any weapons with blood, itd be so cool
and nice stun ability, since you could just make blood fall on people especially if it’s someone like tsunade with devastating abilities yet hemophobia
I came across an idea a while ago for a Rabbit Rabbit fruit: Model- moon rabbit. Which on the surface would just be a rabbit Zoan...unless eaten by a mink. Which thanks to its connection to the moon would allow them to enter sulong form at will, and potentially remain in that form at all times.
I would have loved if the Dice fruit had bbad outcomes as well. For example: if you roll a 1, your stamina is cut in half, or something like that. This would make the gambling aspect much more thrilling
I have a very late submission! The Tech-Tech fruit or Gijutsu-Gijutsu no mi. This paramecia type devil fruit allows you to manipulate and create technology. This fruit also gives you advanced technological knowledge. The only downside to this fruit is that your technology would need an energy source, like Frankie with his cola.
All really interesting ideas. Sadly I missed the contest and I did have a lot of ideas so I still want to give some of my ideas for the water fruit. Eating it automaticly makes you much much weaker. You basicly become 10 times weaker and coming in contact to seastone would actually be a buff for you as it would remove the fact you are weakened by your logia fruit. You could jump in the sea and create a air free tube then let air enter from the beginning of the tube and bam. You have a high speed underwater highway which is basicly an air canon. Now thinking even further you could just make these water tube floating in the air and in battle gain immense speed very easily. Basicly you can do insane air propelled tackles. On top of that the fruit has more abilities. For example it is excellent for being sneaky and infiltrating places. You also don't need to care about the weather when sailing as you can just summon a big wave behind your ship and and move it that way without a care in the world for the dangers of the grandline waters. This fruit also of course gives you the benefits of a logia type but I imagined and interesting feature for it as well. You could eat stuff such as like gelatine to make your water more goopy and thhat way make water tentacles that actually could grab and stick to people and objects instead of being well just water that goes through them. This would be extremly powerful since you basicly have a mage hand ability but it would come with the drawback of being touched by physical attacks more easily as you are much more viscous. You could use the same technic and eat instead burning charcoal which would be painful but also make your water boiling and much more dangerous. Using that technic of eating certain things to change the water you create there is a bunch of potential ideas that could make you super powerful. Also you would never go hungry when sailing cuz fishing immediatly becomes very easy when you can just pull out big bubbles of water with fish in them from the ocean or straight up just jump in the ocean and make yourself a water free bubble using your powers then fighting the fish down there. You of course would be able to create drinkable water as well so thirst wouldn't be an issue and also you would not be as weak as you might think to electricity based power because unless we assume you are made of seawater and not pure water then you don't conduct electricity. You could also have really cool synergies with other powers such as the mera mera no mi which would allow you to basicly have the smoke fruit power and there's a lot of other potential synergies. Finally you could easily store stuff in your body(not a lot depending on your body size but still). But most importantly my final idea is that you could be able to absorb a ton of water to become a litteral giant and while potentionally really powerul this is also extremly dangerous as you are in direct contact with water. Also just for clarification this fruit does not nullify the water weakness as even the water you create makes you weaker which really balances it since it's a logia and so eating it is by default an immense nerf however this fruit since it gives you control of water is very useful when it comes to not coming in contact with water. Also as we know logia users are not constantly made of the substance they have to concentrate to be able to take that form meaning that while you do hahe a constant nerf it is not always as strong as it can be since you are not always made of water
for an awakening you could gain more advanced control over the water, even so advanced to the point where you could filter out the sea salt from the water (which as seen in thriller bark is the source of the devil fruit nullifier) and then you would be immune to the ocean pretty much. plus with the awakening you wouldnt even need to eat things to alter the thickness and temperature of the water and could create steam, ice, and boiling water at will. plus devil fruit users are pretty much screwed fighting you since haki doesnt stop you from being affected by the sea

Tho you do have rly good ideas for it! But my lack of one piece knowledge is proving to be an issue once more it would seem since I remembered from thriller bark that it was the other way around, so salt has some of the property of sea water due to being from the sea not salt being the source of the devil fruit nullifying abilities of seawater but Ig I remembered poorly. I'll still go check tho
i think youre right about the thriller bark thing. the thing is, water in one piece is really complicated with df users being able to take baths and shower (seen in alabasta and water 7) so i think that if its not sea water it would be ok. since sea salt is the difference between sea water and distilled water, which is ok for them, removing salt should take away the nullification effect@@Izice_

I think for the play play fruit to not be insanely op, you would have to get a verbal confirmation that person you are using it on is willing to participate, this can be done through tricks and anything remotely resembling a “yes” can initiate this fruit. Only if the fruit is awakened can the user use it on anyone without their permission
Well that will absolutely Nerf it the better thing would be that the person you are against gains the same skill in the game as you For example if you get zoro in a maze he will get the same sense of directions like you
The game game no mi would be a really cool cursed technique for jjk. You maybe could also use booster packs or streaks (maybe kill streaks) to amp your powers
A good fruit that came to my mind is a paramecia called the burst burst fruit, which allows the user to sacrifice one of their stats to improve another, lets say you sacrifice your lifespan in order to boost stuff like agility, strength and dexterity. This will heavily drain your stamina but if used correctly, could inch your way to victory against a stronger opponent. A possible awakening could allow you to drain other people's stats to increase your own, allowing you to blast beams of energy by drawing your strength out of your body, or making the ground surge with energy causing it to explode open from the inside. As said before your stamina will be heavily drained but also another downside is the fact that you must sacrifice something from your own or someone else's body to increase something else or send it outside your body, btw to drain someone's stats you must physically touch them and must stay in contact for about 10 seconds before being able to drain from them, this is because the power being used to drain from someone else must take time to spread around the full body so it can be in control of the draining process. I dont think this will get acknowledged but i do think it could be a pretty good idea
Well i have a logia in mind which is the air air fruit the fruit allows You to control air you can make the air boling hot or freezing cold and You can make literal tornados
I came up with a fruit called the rather earth fruit that allows the user to control anything naturally made so making rough terrain flat or making a mountain larger or splitting water while you walk.the downsides are that it can only expand terrain using terrain that you destroyed and you can't build with a different material from the ground so if building on stone then you would build terrain with stone
i think that an op fruit would be something like alison’s power in umbrella academy like i heard a rumor and you can make someone do something or even alter memories drawbacks can be you can’t directly make them cause harm to themselves, you can’t make them give up and any memory altering effects has an hour time limit, you can only use this power 5 times a day and the effect will work on anyone who hears it (even allies) an awakened version can allow you to make it more precise and only effect certain targets, increase the range of your voice, and allow you to use it as many times as you want within like 10 minutes
Using the water fruit you can push the water around you away and then use some water on your feet to move underwater to swim which means water fruit is cracked especially if it’s a water logia and not Paramecia

I wonder if the time fruit can allow you to keep momentum because if you could speed up time on your lower body and jump or run and have your upper body be in normal speed so the speed of your jump or run is quicker too that would be sick
I'm just sad I missed the deadline to submit my own. I had one that I think is kinda broken. The Vita Vita no Mi or Fruit of Vitality. This fruit would allow the user to control its vital force as it sees fit. Strengthening themselves, strengthening an ally, or even outright shooting your own vital energy as bullets. The trick is: that is Haki. The first owner of this fruit developed the Haki techniques and then spread it to its followers. This fruit could actually hit any other devil fruit user, including logia, from the start. The real terror of this fruit, though, is a very skilled inventive user: by learning and copying another person's vital energy signature and flow, they could copy their skills as well, that includes their devil fruit abilities. If the user of the Vita Vita is skilled enough and knows enough multiple users of devil fruits, he or she could COMBINE devil fruit powers. The energy drain for it though would go through the roof but if used right, it simply spells the end. Awakening this fruit will give you even more power over your own vital force, empowering your own Haki abilities even further. Sensing things at further distance with further accuracy, unbreakable body and will. I like to think it's the perfect antithesis to the Yami Yami no Mi.
Honestly I think the zodiac fruit is an amazing Idea. But I feel like being able to transfer through all of them is unrealistic. It should be like the Dragon Dragon mythical Zoan and be like “Zodiac Zodiac no mi: Model lion” or something like that
for the zodiac fruit, you need to make a weakness, for example you can turn into one of the forms only for one month a year, a dragon in June, a tiger in February, a rat in September.
Ya originally my idea was that it was each separate devil fruits but each of a kind of telekinetic connection to eachother and the main thing was: every new year whatever the chinese year of the animal it is, that zodiac zoan of that animal gets an awakening that entire year until the end of

But still your idea for a weakness actually is a really cool balance idea
The zodiac zodiac fruit is a nice idea indeed, but Oda already introduced this fruit as multiple fruits, like marco the phoenix, kaido or the zoan type ox fruit, another idea of this fruit would be, to gather all of the zoan fruit which are related to the zodiac and transform them into the zodiac zodiac fruit, if you were to have only 3 or 4 fruits that are added to the transformation you could only transform into those fruits, the more you add, the more you have, think of it like gathering the dragon balls and transforming them into the dragon, same concept, only that is, if you were to die with that fruit, all of the fruits would get split up again
Its an interesting and creative idea. I really enjoy that. the orginal idea of these fruits were to be one of each zodiac animals as fruits to begin with. And they would be bigger and stronger compared their counterpart, just more golden and such like Buddah fruit. And each fruit has a direct telepathic connection to eachother making each user know how the others are doing. The change though however is their awakening, for the year of that animal gives the awakening for that entire year of that animals devil fruit.
Imagine the status status no mi a fruit that can alter the state of anything using modifiers. For instance, broken as a modifier instantly takes away somethings intended purpose or floating makes a thing float. This power has infinite potential except that using this power takes status points and the better or worse the status the more points required. The points replenish daily but if you use them all you are just a human until the next day. My idea for a character is a master weapon smith who makes the best weapons in the world with enchantments.
My favorite custom devil fruit idea would have to be the Pass Pass Fruit which can make any part of your body or even your entire body intangible at will which can make dodging attacks effortless only having to temporarily disable your fruit to fight back. A good way to use this as offense could be to put your arm through your opponents heart while intangible then become tangible to impale them but you could also lose your arm if they have stronger haki than you
your DF idea - just like many others in this list - is basically taken from franchise. In this case it sounds awfully familiar with Obito's powers (from Naruto).

I love the idea of the Yume Yume no Mi! I thought about a dream fruit aswell, but my concept would be a bit different. It would let you manifest things from you own dream into the real world, while you are asleep and visiting other dreams. The idea of touching someone and let them nap is a great addition! In awakened form could create a dream that you can remember and pulling anyone around you, like in a bubble like laws room, into it making it a nightmare for them
A ability could be that u can teleport you and another person into a dream world were u can controll everything, the drawback is that you and the other person have to be asleep

I've always been under the impression that a Water Logia Devil Fruit not only can, but does exist. I've believed that for years. Afterall, turning into water doesn't mean submerging in it, and as long as you aren't submerged in water, it won't affect you (unless you have a specific weakness like Crocodile) so there is no reason such a Devil Fruit couldn't exist. Besides, we've seen other devil fruits that not only control or turns the user into a liquid substance, but we've also had Zoan Fruits based around amphibian or aquatic animals, so surely a Water Logia fruit is possible.
In the second one piece film, clockwork island a character does have a liquid logia which allows them to turn into an unspecified liquid (though some translations say it’s a jelly). Devil fruit users are only weak to sea water not all water after all.
Because water opposes devil fruits... the closest thing you'll find is the yami yami no mi which embodies the abyss. Or the depth of the ocean, granting all the strength of the ocean without actually giving them water powers. It can suck, crush, even negate df powers. Because again.. water is the natural enemy of dfs.. it would make no sense to have a water logia.

How about Tuschi Tuschi No Mi/ Earth Earth Fruit. This fruit can make you have rock and nature powers. It makes earthquakes which will make your enemy fall. A tree power would spawn a lot of trees to defend you and attack your enemy. A flight power. A windy power which will spawn dirt in your enemy's eyes. Another power is a stick that could stretch to hit the enemy on the back. It also has an awk and the fruit is a logia.
A good fruit would be the eel eel fruit, it allows you to become an eel thats 9 feet long and when it's raining it allows you to let electricity to travel through puddles like the lighting fruit but like a zoan type, another attack is sending out a electric shock through your body that can also scare sea kings and kill people, if you are a fish man and you ate it you can swim in water but only for 20 minutes at a time. Other benefits if you are a fish man and you eat this is when you have a fighting style like Jinbel you can let the electric flow through the water and making it stronger. The awakening allows you to collect electricity via electric power or Lighting storms or lighting bolts which can give you a mode called "Overcharge" where it enhances your abilities and the passives are having an active live current within a 10 feet radius, when in water anything in a 25 feet radius gets electrocuted. Other buffs from awakening is being allowed to drain electric energy from devices. Cons are: Everytime you get overcharged you have a limited time of it for 2 hours if struck by lighting but 40+ minutes from charging up from random things, you can also use the abilities in a human form and a hybrid form, the hybrid form is weaker than full transformation but is stronger than the human form. More cons are: Copper can suck the electricity' from you which drains energy and lead to undercharge, zinc on the other hand can disconnect your electricity and cause some issues. People like Luffy doesn't get affected from the electricity but get affected from physical attacks. A big bonus is allowing electric to flow through your metal weapons and your armament haki a big con is sea prsim stones affect you heavily and combined with copper it can severely weaken you.
Imagine the nano nano fruit this logia type power would grant the user the ability to become and manipulate nano particles unlike the other logia it is neutral in terms of element however it is far more accurate in its manipulation. The weakness of this fruit is magnetic force can disrupt it’s binding.

Hi, I'm the guy who submitted the game-game. For the awakening I was actually thinking about making everyone affected to act as if they were in a turn-based fight. ( Divinity Original Sin Style ) This means every attack connects unless they are too far from the opponent or a passive ability makes It otherwise ( like a sword attack on Buggy or a punch with no haki attached against a logia ). Also, during their turn the user would have access to their inventory for a quick equipment swap. And talking about the inventory ability : I had limited the storage to items the user could actually carry. Meaning an ancient giant Is able to store ships if it's strong enough to pick them up.
Here me out, The frame frame fruit 1.allows user to be able to be able to in some ways manipulate the frames of animation kinda like that one zenin guy from jjk 2.may automatically grant the user a form of future sight being able to see into the future by a set amount of frames depending on how many they want in the battle 3.your able to lower or make the amount of frames higher,lower makes you faster being able to be quicker and make decisions fast while higher can improve your strength through having more frames and making you able to hit them for longer basically making you have supper the strength but also comes at the cost of the speed of the user 4.awakened ability may allow for an op ability making it so your able to edit another persons frames but can only be used at the cost of the user’s stamina and depending on how seriously you use it even your life span
I had the idea for a speed speed fruit which would basically allow you to speed up any process. For example you could speed up yourself to train a lot faster, or increase your speed immensely in battle. You could even speed up your brain to allow you to think and react faster. This could have insane uses like speeding up a poison to make it act faster, increase your blood flow just like Luffy, and even speed up the acceleration of gravity on a person or object making them extremely heavy. The downside would of course be that the object also ages faster, this faster aging could even be used as a weapon if you manage to touch them. This fruit would be insane for combat with a multitude of uses, allowing you to increase your speed, strength, and durability at the cost of lifespan and stamina. The fruits other uses would make it extremely powerful. (Awakening would allow you to speed up to much higher levels and allow you to even slow down process slightly.)
Ay in order to speed up your body, you need to pound your heart to increase the blood flow but you gotta maintain your speed until it wears off. if you slow down or stop during this state, you will suffer a fatal heart attack

If you get creative with it like using it to turn your spit in to super fast water bullets, or growing your nails into claws! Especially if the user had things around them it could be insane like imbuing some speed into a seed to make it grow insanely fast (though that might have to be part of the awakening!)
I think for the time time fruit the best implementation I can find is Julius Novachrono's power from Black Clover. To stop or reverse time you need to use "your time", and you can increase your time by stealing other's time (killing them). His power is the best implementation of Time Control for me.

for the den den mushi fruit, a good awakening would be telepathic links. take group voice chats as an example: when the user links to someone, he can also choose someone else to join the conversation to not have to link to x person to tell them what x person said.
A good example of awakening is The Music For Souls from Soul Eater. Den Den mushi like a radio, start playing metaphorical music. Now everyone who listens to it begins to metaphorically feel the same rhythm, metaphorically dance to the same music. The level of teamwork increases and individual attacks become extremely coordinated into large long combos. In Soul Eater it was one of the strongest if not realy the strongest superpower ability.
I am Mahith from India and my fruit idea is: The Ground-Ground fruit: 1. It allows the user to manipulate the ground however they wish. 2.They can also turn the ground into anything they have in their hands. 3. They can also make the ground bouncy to jump into the air. Awakening: 1. It allows the user to now control and manipulate anything touching the ground. 2. It allows the user to now know the past of the land by focusing hard enough. 3. It allows the user to now use their powers even if they are touching something else touching the ground. Weakness: 1. The users abilities are only limited to when they are touching the ground. 2. The user cannot make someone weaker directly if they are touching the ground but instead can only manipulate them to do something. Ideas: 1. If the user is allied to Fujitora or someone that uses the Gravity fruit, the user can use their abilities in the air by just touching the ground of the gravity fruit flight ability.
As a wanted criminal on the run and eventual assassin, the Hana Hana no mi suits Robin's needs. But if I could change that, I would have given her the Kami Kami no mi, with powers drawing a bit from Naruto's Nagato and mostly from Read or Die, where Papermasters can control paper freely like a psuedo-logia or special paramecia. She could have plucked as many pages she could from the books, potentially saved some of Ohara's knowledge, and had a bigger bounty. Advanced uses of this fruit would be understanding the contents of book, whether you need a quick gist off a newspaper or accurate details on how to perform life-saving surgery, though acquiring skills this way isn't permanent and depends on your limited brain power and intelligence (as opposed to Vegapunk who has high intelligence and ate the Nomi Nomi no mi which gives him unlimited brain power/capacity) although you can always gain the skill permanently thru good ol' practice. A potential awakening for this fruit would be summoning a figure from the page into life, be it a story character or a real person, though maintaining said power and the amount of power and knowledge the character/historical figure would have is largely dependent on your power/strength of will and the knowledge known about the person. Imagine taking a fairytale book and summoning the hero, or finding a super rare and prohibited book that contains the legend of the Sun God and summoning Nika himself.
My idea for a fruit would be a quick time event paramecia fruit. You always have a chance to one shot an enemy or miss entirely. The speed and number of inputs increases by the strength of the enemies haki. If your inputs are perfect you one shot. If you miss any you miss your attack. The attack scales on how well your inputs are. An awakening could allow you to use inputs on other people to strengthen or weaken them.
Panel panel fruit. User can break reality and take blocks from basically reality leaving a void. The void is just there. It can only be broken by haki but it is paramecia, logia, and zoan. It has a range and the panels would keep moving in one direction until stopped or reaches the end of a circle similar to laws room.
Have to disagree with that opening statement. I think Kaido put it best when he said something to the effect of "Devil Fruits are useful, but Haki is the true power of the seas."
I thinks its more akin to devil fruits being one of the foundations of the story and world of onepiece, while haki is supplimentary; you can have an arc or world w/o haki but it would'nt be onepiece w/o devil fruits

Game game sounds like the overused system concept from manhwas and manhuas and some isekai mangas. From school bullying to fantasy isekai, all genres of manhwas and manhuas have mc or all characters with system ability.
As soon as you started describing the Play Play Fruit I immediately thought of the awakening allowing you to play as the people you've defeated in the past, with a mimicry of their devil fruit powers and everything
This concept (player and system) is actually seen in countless manhwas and manhuas that it became something very boring for those who read those. A common ability for such characters is to level up by fighting and also gain points by which they can increase their stats or get some skills or legendary lost weapons. They can also transport to other worlds to do quests to become stronger. Another very common power is necromancy where the dead is reanimated with a portion of their original power. A character that has both of these is sun jinwoo from solo leveling.

I mean that you fully transform into the person that you defeated, changing shape and looks while gaining their strength and devil fruit abilities. It's basically a zoan awakening but you can transform into the people you've killed/defeated.

I meant to say the game game fruit as the video described is a very common power and so what you said about how the fruit should be didn't come into my mind. There are also mcs who have a power sinilar to what you describe notabily rimuru but he absorbs rather than defeat.
@@condorianonegdiffsgoku Still it's definitely not an op anime character awakening considering you have to defeat/kill the opponent first to use their body and powers. You can't just decide to become Kaido without already having killed him, mostly useful for strategies and countering another persons abilities.
I really like the idea of the share share fruit, and my mind ran with the idea. I thought about how, unless this fruit's user preyed on people with short life expectancy, they wouldn't actually gain much before dying themself, so I was inspired by the saying about old men planting trees in whose shade they'll never sit and had the idea that any power shared doesn't return to the current user but instead is stored within the fruit for the next user which then raises the maximum amount of power they could share. I personally think this could have a lot of potential for a character whose backstory is something like they come from a family that strives to monopolize this one devil fruit to cultivate it until it reaches a point that the user can create people on the level of a yonko by sharing only a fraction of their power
Love the fruits, you could also think about how all of them could team up and just wreck all their enemies. this reminded me of my Te Te no mi fruit (pronounced Tae Tae) where if you eat it, after a few seconds it would give you a random devil fruit ability, and I mean any from zoan, paramecia, and logia. You cannot guarantee a certain ability as you could even get no abilities and just lose the ability to swim. The only limit is what the devil fruit power already has. Edit: Would you recommend this in a future one piece video? If not that’s fine. 🗿🍷
I had an idea for a logia fruit, the Earth-Earth fruit, which would allow you to create, control and become earth at will, so you could basically fire rocks at people or make rock fists or rock spikes that could also be coated in haki. I think this fruit would be very overpowered too because of the fact that earth is basically everywhere around you in the one piece world, so you could make the whole area around you your own battlefield to use against your opponent, and also you obviously gain the abilities of a logia where you cant be hit unless you use haki, so overall I think the Earth-Earth fruit would be a solid fruit in One Piece as well as being a very strong and versatile fruit. It's like Whitebeard's fruit but with added logia benefits 😅😅😅
the pawa pawa no mi allows you to take any power or force or fruit and just use it urself limits are if you use to much u lose a bit of your life force also with this fruit u can take any force so gravity can just be manipulated someones devil fruit yours now but if you over use it you start to die once awakened it just lets u use more power

And, besides that, theres rarely anything of "original super power", a lot of abilities already exist in media, its very hard to make something unique that doesn't fall within a category, let alone one that is truky unqiue and never-seen-before Its obvious that, in two shounen where the main magic system is cebtered about unqiue and varied abilities, overlap happens, there's just not that many powers

These are all interesting devil fruit ideas. I have one too. I've been thinking about a GLASS-GLASS FRUIT with that ability you can create and manipulate Glass. Since Glass is produced by using heat, you can heat up your created Glass and imitate some other Devil fruit powers. Also, you can shatter the glass to cut your enemies. You can create a lot of useful items with that power. And since glass is created by using a certain type of sand you could touch sand and create a big area of Glass to use for combat. The durability of the created Glass could be linked to your physical health. If you're super fit and healthy your Glass will be super hard and wont break easily.
Also,glass is technically a very viscous liquid in room temperature,but flows so slow that it can be used like a solid,so you could mold it however you want
yo i just realised how op the time time fruit is. Like imagine this ability given to an op gun user like ben beckman or yasopp they would be shooting basically an infinite amount of bullets and speed them up as much as they want. Plus they also would perceive time outside their bubble as slower which combined with observation haki makes you a near god like sniper.
How about the Mythical Zoan Chimera-Chimera fruit. It let's you transform into any animal (normal and ancient),(the unawakened form), but only one at a time. Awakening: you can combine up to 3 animals into one transformation taking both positive and negative attributes.
I had a few ideas. Me Me fruit: Anyone you touch turns into an exact replica of you under the original's control. Seawater turns victims back to normal. Friend Friend fruit: Hug a person to mentally replace their most respected friend or ally. For example, hugging Zoro would replace Luffy with you in his mind. People with strong enough minds, or multiple bonds, can reason their way out of control.
Nami would be suited to the bottle fruit to be honest. She could trap her wind and Zeus's lightning in bottles for emergency situations when she needs to attack without her staff or if Zeus happens to not be present with her. She could defend herself a little bit better with a fruit like that.
11:40 the dew dew fruit seems like just a slight upgrade from smoothie's fruit since you can give it to other people too (it was shown in the whole cake chateau that only smoothie gets buffed by the liquids she creates and it's only temporary, so that makes the dew dew fruit just a mera mera no mi and magu magu no mi situation)

I had an idea that’s kind of a fusion of 2 existing fruits: the Dessert Dessert Fruit: a special Paramecia, that allows to transform into, generate and manipulate an ice-cream like substance (Mochi Mochi + Cold Cold). The user’s body and the substance solidity depends on the surrounding temperature. In a warm environment, the user and their ice cream will be melted, becoming similar to soft serve. This form allows for great mobility and nimble movement, as well as melting through gaps and crevasses. Whereas in colder climates, the user and their ice cream are much more solid, like compact ice or crystal. This may offer both greater offence and defence, with the sacrifice of speed and ease of movement. Awakening would allow the user to turn their surroundings into ice cream and dessert themed constructs. A portable Wholecake Island wherever you go.
Would love to see a Paper Paper Fruit. A user having perfect mental control over Paper could go crazy especially Paper infused with Haki. User could also have a motif of origami since we already have cards with Hawkins and a fruit already for books
Warp warp fruit: This fruit gives you 100 points daily you can stack the point until u reach 1000 points. This fruit allows u to do whatever you want but every action takes a certain amount of points for example getting a speed or strength boost could be between 1 and 10 points whilst granting yourself a weapon could be like 20 to 50 points depending on the weapon and a type of power could be between 90 or more points but these abilities and weapons you get can only last one day but with the use of points the duration of the thing granted by the points can increase. Awakening: Point storage as well as amount of points received daily increases. User is also able to keep powers and weapons for an extended period of time without spending points to keep them around but can still spend points to increase duration of the things u gained with the points.
I got an idea, Chance Chance Fruit: The user is able to manipulate probability and luck at will. The Devil Fruit ability works passively as it grants the user eternal high luck so the user have a very high chance of escaping certain scenarios that could have the user killed. (randomly falling over when a gunshot is fired, dodging it, unknowingly getting out of a way of a falling object.) The power also transfer some luck onto anyone close by. (No matter if it's an enemy or ally)
Eye Eye fruit. Cyborg Eye can know anything about the person you fight with and make a cyber punch can only do one person at a time. Robot Eyes: Have super IQ and x ray vison. Cat Eyes: You can see in the darkness only at night and have sharp claws like a cat. Lizard Eyes: Have Lazer focus Eye sight see far away and climb on walls. Goat Eyes: you can scream and make a goat no noise and make every body in your range and turn into a big goat like choppers monster point. Red Eyes:Have Lazer eyes and Fly. Purple Eyes:Can manipulate people to do what ever you tell them to do. Inner Glow Eyes:Mix every ability to create a big orange ball like a sun and make a big explosion Well that's it 😊.

How about the plastic plastic fruit? It works like the mochi fruit. But you can also seal everyone in an air tight capsules or create many different objects from plastic. It does sound a little strong and if used to a strong character it would be really destructive remember katakuri.
Its probably too late but I have a fruit idea that I think would be fun, a Paramecia devil fruit that is based on insanity / madness. Basic abilities would include making people around you have hallucinations, shattering a person into a several personalities that are elements of that person's normal personality that then have to fight for control of that person, degrading your opponents memory, or temporarily afflicting your opponent with various other forms of madness. The major downside is the more you use the fruits powers the more your mental state deteriorates, but the stronger your abilities get. So if the wielder went fully into madness they would have near limitless power but wouldn't be able to recognize friend from foe or totally forget who or why they are fighting and might even be fighting figments of their own imagination. The awakened form of the fruit would project your mental scape onto a large area around you changing what was just a hallucination before into an actual physical thing and / or bending the rules of physics / other systems based on how crazy / what kind of crazy you are at the moment. I should also point out that all effects of this fruit are temporary - both on the wielder and their opponent, though the wielder would always be at least a little crazy. Other non-combat abilities could include helping someone else by breaking their mind into various components so they can deal with a negative aspect of themself more directly, permanently taking madness away from another person, or projecting a calm and peaceful mental scape on the area around them if the wielder is in a excellent mental state at the moment. I think this fruit also adds a lot of really cool story telling options, like the wielder's growth as a person directly being their power up system or if a good guy the wielders friends / crew being people that can bring the wielder back from the madness or if the wielder is a villain the madness could make them super compelling/tragic and unpredictable (look at Batman's nemesis the Joker, one of the most iconic villains of all time).
I like the Bottle Fruit. Its like an external version of Capone's fruit. Which is something you see a lot in the series. Fruits that have similar abilities but function differently.
Dance Dance Fruit: when the user dances, anyone seeing the user dancing will automatically synchronize and become "back up dancers". Music is not needed, "Back up dancers" bodies will be forced to copy exactly to the users moves

I have an idea. Empa Empa fruit. (Empanada, the goddess of pandas.)
This fruit gives you the power to become a panda. The halfway form would be a panda head human body. When you're in the half panda form, bamboo sticks are just as sharp as a katana and strong as emeralds. You can climb easier. The downside is you're very tempted to eat the bamboo sticks, you get very tired easily, and you get side character syndrome.
Its like having infinite pokeballs that can catch anything

If you are fighting someone you can call for a “game time” where no combat is allowed and you start playing a specific game that both opponents have to agree on… it can be anything like rock paper scissor, or catch…
The winner of the game will get a buff of there choosing after the game for certain amount of time. The buff is also based on the difficulty of the game… if you win you can call for another game instead of getting a buff… and if you get a win streak then when you get a buff your opponent will also get a restriction, kinda like a negative buff… which means you can turn off someone’s haki or devil fruit powers for 5 seconds for example.
The downsides is that the user never gets to choose a game by himself as the opponent has to agree on a game. Also the opponent can also call for another game building a win streak for buffs for them selfs

You don’t just disappear 🫥 like the clear clear fruit, you completely vanish from reality and can come back wherever you want. Teleporting basically. Pros, when you vanish, like sugar toy fruit, enemies forget they were fighting you leaving them confused at why they were fighting to begin with. All enemy attacks pass through you. Cons, Allies also forget you was there while vanishing and without proper control you can even forget yourself

Gacha gacha no mi: makes a gacha gacha machine with a bunch of devil fruit powers in it. Whatever one comes out at random you get to use that power for 10 minutes. Downside is there are a lot of not that good powers. Imagine rolling a goro goro or gura gura though.
Boro Boro no mi: crumble crumble fruit - instantly crumbles or disintegrates anything you make contact with, can only disintegrate people if they have weaker haki than you though.
Kuu-kuu no mi: the space space fruit - allows you to warp space within a specific range, can bring things closer to you and bend projectiles around you. Very good for disorienting opponents, and if you are proficient you can use it to fly or send your opponents flying.
Boko-boko no mi: the pummel pummel fruit, the damage your punches do to enemies increases exponentially with each time you hit them, if you punch them 100 times it can hit as hard as king punch.
Michi-michi no mi: road road fruit - lets you make a road wherever you want to - can let you cross oceans or walk up to sky islands, doesnt do much other than that but could be cool to have a crew of pirates who just drive around everywhere.
Pasa-Pasa no mi: paper-paper fruit. Turns you into a paper person, can make yourself light and extrmely thin. Can use haki to strengthen the paper to cut people and by awakening can turn other people and objects into paper.
Gyaku-gyaku no mi: the reverse-reverse fruit - can flip and reverse anything concievable, attacks will go the opposite way and can confuse peoples left and rights and ups and downs, if awakened can flip entire islands and ships/buildings.
Piri-piri no mi: the spicy-spicy fruit. Can create burning hot sensations on people. Picture a pepper spray human - who can make people around them cry and snot everywhere.
Mushi-mushi no mi model (?): insect-insect fruit, has many models, like a bee, a mantis, a fly, a spider.
Rero-rero no mi: the lick lick fruit. Allows you to have an incredibly dextrous and powerful tongue. Also your saliva has extremely acidic properties.
Ira-ira no mi: anger-anger fruit - can make people angry, and when the user gets angry they get faster and stronger proportionally to how angry they are (think hulk)
Beta-beta no mi: the sticky-sticky fruit - allows you to create an incredibly sticky substance that is practically impossible to escape from. The user can use it to walk on walls and have things attach together permanently.
Bate-bate no mi: the tired-tired fruit. Instantly drains people of energy. The user never needs to sleep and gets more energetic the more people they drain of energy.
Meta-meta no mi: meta-meta fruit - the user becomes eichiro oda.

I think a good limitation of the blood blood fruit would be you have to get some of your own blood into your opponent’s bloodstream. Then you can control them kinda similar to stain’s quirk, and for the blood weapons I think the user will have to use their own blood or anyone who they currently control. But a good upside to the blood weapons they would also all be extremely sharp

Ok so I think the blood blood fruit is super OP for a swordsman character because u could just make a a bunch of cuts on someone and speed up their blood flow to bleed them out super fast and its also useful against swordsmen to slow down ur own bloodflow in certain areas to try and help deal with bleeding externally or internally

I had another idea for a busted Devil Fruit.
Hito Hito no Mi Model: Yuurei. The user gains the ability to transform into a ghost. As a ghost, they can pass through solid objects, while being able to touch, grab, and move objects around from a distance. If the user enters the body of another person or an animal, they can control the target from the inside against their will. Attacks against a possessed victim have no effect on the user, except for rendering the body unsuitable for inhabitation.
Salt can render the user solid, even in ghost form, and weakens the grasp of the user on a possessed body. If the user falls into the sea while possessing someone, the victim is freed and can swim as normal, while the user drowns as all devil fruit users do.

Acid logia would be a pretty cool one. Super destructive in battle, almost like the magma fruit from Akainu but could be countered by acid repellent materials.
Corn would be its weakness. Like how when you eat corn your stomach acids can’t digest it
imo for the sake of balance, it being a paramecia woudl be cooler, you become immune to acid (but maybe like, it still irritates your body, makes you super itchy or soemthing) and your body produces it rather than become it

A couple of them are like actual fruits such as the dream fruit basically being Uta’s fruit or the mushroom fruit being from the episode of chopper movie villain. Non-canon fruits but still already exist.
This fruit was very similar to my idea the bandit fruit except you just touch the object to store it and can bring it out at any time from a pocket dimension, I feel these fruits are different enough from capones because he has a limited space and can't sommon his stored objects at will, they need to be people physically entering and exiting his body.

My 2 devil fruit ideas:
1) Wishy Washy no mi:
When someone makes eye contact with you, they can instantly become indecisive or unsure about any decision they're about to make. Hear me out. Say someone is about to attack you, when they make eye contact with you, they will instantly second guess their decision and be unsure of their resolve. Any pause in a battle can be life threatening, or in this case, could land you a win if you enemy hesitates when they're about to land a fatal blow. This is also great in negotiations because you can convince the most stubborn man or opposing army to support you if your social skills are good enough. Downsides are that this ability doesn't work with observation haki like Katekuri's meaning you can't make him unsure of what he sees in foresight and it is useless to anyone who's blind like Fujitora.
2) Liquid liquid no mi:
Allows you to control any liquid-like substance. This means you can control both blood, water, and even lava in it's liquid form. Downsides are that you can't control the ocean since it's naturally the weakness of any devil fruit, and the control over time will use up lots of energy. You would also have to become a strong person since you will still feel the weight of whatever liquid you're controlling. For example, if you lift 20 pounds of lava you will feel how heavy the lava is and only be able to control the Amount you're strong enough to lift.

I've been working on one forever! The Ink Ink Fruit! A Paramecia that can act like a Logia type! It let's the user manipulate the Ink on their body and bring it to life! So like if they make a tattoo of a wolf, the person will have a wolf attached to their body kinda like a leashed dog! This can also make additional body parts like Wings, Tails, and additional Limbs! The user can also absorb ink onto their body! Like Pen ink!

What you described is just Kanjuro's fruit, the overall mindset/process of this DF concept along with the Brush fruit is actually pretty good (Considering you could probably draw a portrait of Kaido/just anyone, add prompt words like "loyal" or "protects to me" then just add a few x's like 2x and so on, and then you have one of the strongest that'll ride or die for your safety).
BUT, a better iteration imo is the Scientific and general use of ink itself, the DF will for sure not be as nerdy in cannon, but it'll bounce constantly between Logia and Special Paramecia status... Some ink companies use Water as their main base for their product so that's a plus, it also has properties of resin and wax which harden quick without the base but you could freely manipulate that, the resin and wax should be very durable and would resist tons of forces considering that it needs to be an exaggeration of its in-world form, its viscosity is also already a negater for almost every single attack considering that it has the amount of viscosity as a Non-Newtonian fluid would like Oobleck, paired with the hardening is pretty much the precursor to Armament and could just be EVEN stronger once you realize that ink can also store, reduce and carry out heat which would already render the Heat fruit and the Flame fruit useless, basically tho, if you're in East Blue or just haven't entered New World yet, you pretty much would just have the most versatile Paramecia in the world
I’ve always had an idea that I’ve seen before but not used to its full potential, the sculpt sculpt fruit or mold mold fruit, its ability would be to be able to mold anything into what you choose by touching it. This would work on flesh, steel, wood, or air. You would have to touch the thing and stretch or mold it in any way, it just cannot be disconnected from the rest of whatever it is. This could work by molding the floor upwards to create walls, molding someone’s face to make their eyes be blocked, and even mold something like a metal block into a sword. It would also make you immune to all blunt attacks by just molding your body around the attack. This would make you weak to cutting tho. Anything molded would keep its effect like steel molded would still be steal and any air molded would still be air. This works for water as well so if a person with this fruit try’s to mold seawater they would still get its effects. Another way this fruit could work is by walking through walls or any hard surfaces, you could just mold the wall or roof to your body. Downsides are the mold only last for 1 min to an hour depending on how big it is molded it is even less for living things, and if the living thing tries use whatever was molded will go back to normal even faster.
My personal favourite would be cigarette cigarette no mi. Owned by sanji, i would absolutely love to become black lung just like him.

I came across an idea a while ago for a Rabbit Rabbit fruit: Model- moon rabbit. Which on the surface would just be a rabbit Zoan...unless eaten by a mink. Which thanks to its connection to the moon would allow them to enter sulong form at will, and potentially remain in that form at all times.

I have a very late submission! The Tech-Tech fruit or Gijutsu-Gijutsu no mi. This paramecia type devil fruit allows you to manipulate and create technology. This fruit also gives you advanced technological knowledge. The only downside to this fruit is that your technology would need an energy source, like Frankie with his cola.
All really interesting ideas. Sadly I missed the contest and I did have a lot of ideas so I still want to give some of my ideas for the water fruit. Eating it automaticly makes you much much weaker. You basicly become 10 times weaker and coming in contact to seastone would actually be a buff for you as it would remove the fact you are weakened by your logia fruit. You could jump in the sea and create a air free tube then let air enter from the beginning of the tube and bam. You have a high speed underwater highway which is basicly an air canon. Now thinking even further you could just make these water tube floating in the air and in battle gain immense speed very easily. Basicly you can do insane air propelled tackles. On top of that the fruit has more abilities. For example it is excellent for being sneaky and infiltrating places. You also don't need to care about the weather when sailing as you can just summon a big wave behind your ship and and move it that way without a care in the world for the dangers of the grandline waters. This fruit also of course gives you the benefits of a logia type but I imagined and interesting feature for it as well. You could eat stuff such as like gelatine to make your water more goopy and thhat way make water tentacles that actually could grab and stick to people and objects instead of being well just water that goes through them. This would be extremly powerful since you basicly have a mage hand ability but it would come with the drawback of being touched by physical attacks more easily as you are much more viscous. You could use the same technic and eat instead burning charcoal which would be painful but also make your water boiling and much more dangerous. Using that technic of eating certain things to change the water you create there is a bunch of potential ideas that could make you super powerful. Also you would never go hungry when sailing cuz fishing immediatly becomes very easy when you can just pull out big bubbles of water with fish in them from the ocean or straight up just jump in the ocean and make yourself a water free bubble using your powers then fighting the fish down there. You of course would be able to create drinkable water as well so thirst wouldn't be an issue and also you would not be as weak as you might think to electricity based power because unless we assume you are made of seawater and not pure water then you don't conduct electricity. You could also have really cool synergies with other powers such as the mera mera no mi which would allow you to basicly have the smoke fruit power and there's a lot of other potential synergies. Finally you could easily store stuff in your body(not a lot depending on your body size but still). But most importantly my final idea is that you could be able to absorb a ton of water to become a litteral giant and while potentionally really powerul this is also extremly dangerous as you are in direct contact with water. Also just for clarification this fruit does not nullify the water weakness as even the water you create makes you weaker which really balances it since it's a logia and so eating it is by default an immense nerf however this fruit since it gives you control of water is very useful when it comes to not coming in contact with water. Also as we know logia users are not constantly made of the substance they have to concentrate to be able to take that form meaning that while you do hahe a constant nerf it is not always as strong as it can be since you are not always made of water
for an awakening you could gain more advanced control over the water, even so advanced to the point where you could filter out the sea salt from the water (which as seen in thriller bark is the source of the devil fruit nullifier) and then you would be immune to the ocean pretty much. plus with the awakening you wouldnt even need to eat things to alter the thickness and temperature of the water and could create steam, ice, and boiling water at will. plus devil fruit users are pretty much screwed fighting you since haki doesnt stop you from being affected by the sea

But my lack of one piece knowledge is proving to be an issue once more it would seem since I remembered from thriller bark that it was the other way around, so salt has some of the property of sea water due to being from the sea not salt being the source of the devil fruit nullifying abilities of seawater but Ig I remembered poorly. i think youre right about the thriller bark thing. the thing is, water in one piece is really complicated with df users being able to take baths and shower (seen in alabasta and water 7) so i think that if its not sea water it would be ok. since sea salt is the difference between sea water and distilled water, which is ok for them, removing salt should take away the nullification effect@@Izice_

I think for the play play fruit to not be insanely op, you would have to get a verbal confirmation that person you are using it on is willing to participate, this can be done through tricks and anything remotely resembling a “yes” can initiate this fruit. Only if the fruit is awakened can the user use it on anyone without their permission

A good fruit that came to my mind is a paramecia called the burst burst fruit, which allows the user to sacrifice one of their stats to improve another, lets say you sacrifice your lifespan in order to boost stuff like agility, strength and dexterity.
This will heavily drain your stamina but if used correctly, could inch your way to victory against a stronger opponent.
A possible awakening could allow you to drain other people's stats to increase your own, allowing you to blast beams of energy by drawing your strength out of your body, or making the ground surge with energy causing it to explode open from the inside.
As said before your stamina will be heavily drained but also another downside is the fact that you must sacrifice something from your own or someone else's body to increase something else or send it outside your body, btw to drain someone's stats you must physically touch them and must stay in contact for about 10 seconds before being able to drain from them, this is because the power being used to drain from someone else must take time to spread around the full body so it can be in control of the draining process. I dont think this will get acknowledged but i do think it could be a pretty good idea

I came up with a fruit called the rather earth fruit that allows the user to control anything naturally made so making rough terrain flat or making a mountain larger or splitting water while you walk.the downsides are that it can only expand terrain using terrain that you destroyed and you can't build with a different material from the ground so if building on stone then you would build terrain with stone
i think that an op fruit would be something like alison’s power in umbrella academy like i heard a rumor and you can make someone do something or even alter memories drawbacks can be you can’t directly make them cause harm to themselves, you can’t make them give up and any memory altering effects has an hour time limit, you can only use this power 5 times a day and the effect will work on anyone who hears it (even allies) an awakened version can allow you to make it more precise and only effect certain targets, increase the range of your voice, and allow you to use it as many times as you want within like 10 minutes
Using the water fruit you can push the water around you away and then use some water on your feet to move underwater to swim which means water fruit is cracked especially if it’s a water logia and not Paramecia

I wonder if the time fruit can allow you to keep momentum because if you could speed up time on your lower body and jump or run and have your upper body be in normal speed so the speed of your jump or run is quicker too that would be sick
I'm just sad I missed the deadline to submit my own. I had one that I think is kinda broken. The Vita Vita no Mi or Fruit of Vitality. This fruit would allow the user to control its vital force as it sees fit. Strengthening themselves, strengthening an ally, or even outright shooting your own vital energy as bullets.
The trick is: that is Haki. The first owner of this fruit developed the Haki techniques and then spread it to its followers. This fruit could actually hit any other devil fruit user, including logia, from the start.
The real terror of this fruit, though, is a very skilled inventive user: by learning and copying another person's vital energy signature and flow, they could copy their skills as well, that includes their devil fruit abilities. If the user of the Vita Vita is skilled enough and knows enough multiple users of devil fruits, he or she could COMBINE devil fruit powers. The energy drain for it though would go through the roof but if used right, it simply spells the end.
Awakening this fruit will give you even more power over your own vital force, empowering your own Haki abilities even further. Sensing things at further distance with further accuracy, unbreakable body and will. I like to think it's the perfect antithesis to the Yami Yami no Mi.
Honestly I think the zodiac fruit is an amazing Idea. But I feel like being able to transfer through all of them is unrealistic. It should be like the Dragon Dragon mythical Zoan and be like “Zodiac Zodiac no mi: Model lion” or something like that
for the zodiac fruit, you need to make a weakness, for example you can turn into one of the forms only for one month a year, a dragon in June, a tiger in February, a rat in September.

The zodiac zodiac fruit is a nice idea indeed, but Oda already introduced this fruit as multiple fruits, like marco the phoenix, kaido or the zoan type ox fruit, another idea of this fruit would be, to gather all of the zoan fruit which are related to the zodiac and transform them into the zodiac zodiac fruit, if you were to have only 3 or 4 fruits that are added to the transformation you could only transform into those fruits, the more you add, the more you have, think of it like gathering the dragon balls and transforming them into the dragon, same concept, only that is, if you were to die with that fruit, all of the fruits would get split up again
Its an interesting and creative idea. I really enjoy that. the orginal idea of these fruits were to be one of each zodiac animals as fruits to begin with. And they would be bigger and stronger compared their counterpart, just more golden and such like Buddah fruit. And each fruit has a direct telepathic connection to eachother making each user know how the others are doing. The change though however is their awakening, for the year of that animal gives the awakening for that entire year of that animals devil fruit.

Imagine the status status no mi a fruit that can alter the state of anything using modifiers. For instance, broken as a modifier instantly takes away somethings intended purpose or floating makes a thing float. This power has infinite potential except that using this power takes status points and the better or worse the status the more points required. The points replenish daily but if you use them all you are just a human until the next day. My idea for a character is a master weapon smith who makes the best weapons in the world with enchantments.
My favorite custom devil fruit idea would have to be the Pass Pass Fruit which can make any part of your body or even your entire body intangible at will which can make dodging attacks effortless only having to temporarily disable your fruit to fight back. A good way to use this as offense could be to put your arm through your opponents heart while intangible then become tangible to impale them but you could also lose your arm if they have stronger haki than you

I love the idea of the Yume Yume no Mi! I thought about a dream fruit aswell, but my concept would be a bit different. It would let you manifest things from you own dream into the real world, while you are asleep and visiting other dreams. The idea of touching someone and let them nap is a great addition! In awakened form could create a dream that you can remember and pulling anyone around you, like in a bubble like laws room, into it making it a nightmare for them

I've always been under the impression that a Water Logia Devil Fruit not only can, but does exist. I've believed that for years. Afterall, turning into water doesn't mean submerging in it, and as long as you aren't submerged in water, it won't affect you (unless you have a specific weakness like Crocodile) so there is no reason such a Devil Fruit couldn't exist.
Besides, we've seen other devil fruits that not only control or turns the user into a liquid substance, but we've also had Zoan Fruits based around amphibian or aquatic animals, so surely a Water Logia fruit is possible.

Because water opposes devil fruits... the closest thing you'll find is the yami yami no mi which embodies the abyss. Or the depth of the ocean, granting all the strength of the ocean without actually giving them water powers. It can suck, crush, even negate df powers.
Because again.. water is the natural enemy of dfs.. it would make no sense to have a water logia.

How about Tuschi Tuschi No Mi/ Earth Earth Fruit. This fruit can make you have rock and nature powers. It makes earthquakes which will make your enemy fall. A tree power would spawn a lot of trees to defend you and attack your enemy. A flight power. A windy power which will spawn dirt in your enemy's eyes. Another power is a stick that could stretch to hit the enemy on the back. It also has an awk and the fruit is a logia.
A good fruit would be the eel eel fruit, it allows you to become an eel thats 9 feet long and when it's raining it allows you to let electricity to travel through puddles like the lighting fruit but like a zoan type, another attack is sending out a electric shock through your body that can also scare sea kings and kill people, if you are a fish man and you ate it you can swim in water but only for 20 minutes at a time. Other benefits if you are a fish man and you eat this is when you have a fighting style like Jinbel you can let the electric flow through the water and making it stronger. The awakening allows you to collect electricity via electric power or Lighting storms or lighting bolts which can give you a mode called "Overcharge" where it enhances your abilities and the passives are having an active live current within a 10 feet radius, when in water anything in a 25 feet radius gets electrocuted. Other buffs from awakening is being allowed to drain electric energy from devices. Cons are: Everytime you get overcharged you have a limited time of it for 2 hours if struck by lighting but 40+ minutes from charging up from random things, you can also use the abilities in a human form and a hybrid form, the hybrid form is weaker than full transformation but is stronger than the human form. More cons are: Copper can suck the electricity' from you which drains energy and lead to undercharge, zinc on the other hand can disconnect your electricity and cause some issues. People like Luffy doesn't get affected from the electricity but get affected from physical attacks. A big bonus is allowing electric to flow through your metal weapons and your armament haki a big con is sea prsim stones affect you heavily and combined with copper it can severely weaken you.

Hi, I'm the guy who submitted the game-game.
For the awakening I was actually thinking about making everyone affected to act as if they were in a turn-based fight. ( Divinity Original Sin Style )
This means every attack connects unless they are too far from the opponent or a passive ability makes It otherwise ( like a sword attack on Buggy or a punch with no haki attached against a logia ).
Also, during their turn the user would have access to their inventory for a quick equipment swap.
And talking about the inventory ability : I had limited the storage to items the user could actually carry. Meaning an ancient giant Is able to store ships if it's strong enough to pick them up.

Here me out, The frame frame fruit
1.allows user to be able to be able to in some ways manipulate the frames of animation kinda like that one zenin guy from jjk
2.may automatically grant the user a form of future sight being able to see into the future by a set amount of frames depending on how many they want in the battle
3.your able to lower or make the amount of frames higher,lower makes you faster being able to be quicker and make decisions fast while higher can improve your strength through having more frames and making you able to hit them for longer basically making you have supper the strength but also comes at the cost of the speed of the user
4.awakened ability may allow for an op ability making it so your able to edit another persons frames but can only be used at the cost of the user’s stamina and depending on how seriously you use it even your life span
I had the idea for a speed speed fruit which would basically allow you to speed up any process. For example you could speed up yourself to train a lot faster, or increase your speed immensely in battle. You could even speed up your brain to allow you to think and react faster. This could have insane uses like speeding up a poison to make it act faster, increase your blood flow just like Luffy, and even speed up the acceleration of gravity on a person or object making them extremely heavy. The downside would of course be that the object also ages faster, this faster aging could even be used as a weapon if you manage to touch them. This fruit would be insane for combat with a multitude of uses, allowing you to increase your speed, strength, and durability at the cost of lifespan and stamina. The fruits other uses would make it extremely powerful. (Awakening would allow you to speed up to much higher levels and allow you to even slow down process slightly.)

Ay in order to speed up your body, you need to pound your heart to increase the blood flow but you gotta maintain your speed until it wears off. if you slow down or stop during this state, you will suffer a fatal heart attack
@@CarlinMissingThat would be a cool downside! I think this could be an insanely strong fruit because of the enhanced regeneration, strength, and speed! If you get creative with it like using it to turn your spit in to super fast water bullets, or growing your nails into claws! Especially if the user had things around them it could be insane like imbuing some speed into a seed to make it grow insanely fast (though that might have to be part of the awakening!)
I think for the time time fruit the best implementation I can find is Julius Novachrono's power from Black Clover. To stop or reverse time you need to use "your time", and you can increase your time by stealing other's time (killing them).
His power is the best implementation of Time Control for me.

for the den den mushi fruit, a good awakening would be telepathic links. take group voice chats as an example: when the user links to someone, he can also choose someone else to join the conversation to not have to link to x person to tell them what x person said.

A good example of awakening is The Music For Souls from Soul Eater. Den Den mushi like a radio, start playing metaphorical music. Now everyone who listens to it begins to metaphorically feel the same rhythm, metaphorically dance to the same music. The level of teamwork increases and individual attacks become extremely coordinated into large long combos. In Soul Eater it was one of the strongest if not realy the strongest superpower ability.

The Ground-Ground fruit:
1. It allows the user to manipulate the ground however they wish.
2.They can also turn the ground into anything they have in their hands.
3. They can also make the ground bouncy to jump into the air.
Awakening:
1. It allows the user to now control and manipulate anything touching the ground.
2. It allows the user to now know the past of the land by focusing hard enough.
3. It allows the user to now use their powers even if they are touching something else touching the ground.
Weakness:
1. The users abilities are only limited to when they are touching the ground.
2. The user cannot make someone weaker directly if they are touching the ground but instead can only manipulate them to do something.
Ideas:
1. If the user is allied to Fujitora or someone that uses the Gravity fruit, the user can use their abilities in the air by just touching the ground of the gravity fruit flight ability.

As a wanted criminal on the run and eventual assassin, the Hana Hana no mi suits Robin's needs. But if I could change that, I would have given her the Kami Kami no mi, with powers drawing a bit from Naruto's Nagato and mostly from Read or Die, where Papermasters can control paper freely like a psuedo-logia or special paramecia. She could have plucked as many pages she could from the books, potentially saved some of Ohara's knowledge, and had a bigger bounty. Advanced uses of this fruit would be understanding the contents of book, whether you need a quick gist off a newspaper or accurate details on how to perform life-saving surgery, though acquiring skills this way isn't permanent and depends on your limited brain power and intelligence (as opposed to Vegapunk who has high intelligence and ate the Nomi Nomi no mi which gives him unlimited brain power/capacity) although you can always gain the skill permanently thru good ol' practice. A potential awakening for this fruit would be summoning a figure from the page into life, be it a story character or a real person, though maintaining said power and the amount of power and knowledge the character/historical figure would have is largely dependent on your power/strength of will and the knowledge known about the person. Imagine taking a fairytale book and summoning the hero, or finding a super rare and prohibited book that contains the legend of the Sun God and summoning Nika himself.
My idea for a fruit would be a quick time event paramecia fruit. You always have a chance to one shot an enemy or miss entirely. The speed and number of inputs increases by the strength of the enemies haki. If your inputs are perfect you one shot. If you miss any you miss your attack. The attack scales on how well your inputs are. An awakening could allow you to use inputs on other people to strengthen or weaken them.
Panel panel fruit. User can break reality and take blocks from basically reality leaving a void. The void is just there. It can only be broken by haki but it is paramecia, logia, and zoan. It has a range and the panels would keep moving in one direction until stopped or reaches the end of a circle similar to laws room.
Have to disagree with that opening statement. I think Kaido put it best when he said something to the effect of "Devil Fruits are useful, but Haki is the true power of the seas."
I mean blackbeard and luffy both have devil fruits and kaido also has a pretty op one himself but haki is still very important
I thinks its more akin to devil fruits being one of the foundations of the story and world of onepiece, while haki is supplimentary; you can have an arc or world w/o haki but it would'nt be onepiece w/o devil fruits

Game game sounds like the overused system concept from manhwas and manhuas and some isekai mangas. From school bullying to fantasy isekai, all genres of manhwas and manhuas have mc or all characters with system ability.

This concept (player and system) is actually seen in countless manhwas and manhuas that it became something very boring for those who read those. A common ability for such characters is to level up by fighting and also gain points by which they can increase their stats or get some skills or legendary lost weapons. They can also transport to other worlds to do quests to become stronger. Another very common power is necromancy where the dead is reanimated with a portion of their original power. A character that has both of these is sun jinwoo from solo leveling.

I mean that you fully transform into the person that you defeated, changing shape and looks while gaining their strength and devil fruit abilities. I meant to say the game game fruit as the video described is a very common power and so what you said about how the fruit should be didn't come into my mind. There are also mcs who have a power sinilar to what you describe notabily rimuru but he absorbs rather than defeat.

You can't just decide to become Kaido without already having killed him, mostly useful for strategies and countering another persons abilities.
The chrono chrono nomi(time fruit) could have helped luffy in marineford as he could speed up all the fights with his opponents and even saved ace
I really like the idea of the share share fruit, and my mind ran with the idea. I thought about how, unless this fruit's user preyed on people with short life expectancy, they wouldn't actually gain much before dying themself, so I was inspired by the saying about old men planting trees in whose shade they'll never sit and had the idea that any power shared doesn't return to the current user but instead is stored within the fruit for the next user which then raises the maximum amount of power they could share. I personally think this could have a lot of potential for a character whose backstory is something like they come from a family that strives to monopolize this one devil fruit to cultivate it until it reaches a point that the user can create people on the level of a yonko by sharing only a fraction of their power
Love the fruits, you could also think about how all of them could team up and just wreck all their enemies.
this reminded me of my Te Te no mi fruit (pronounced Tae Tae) where if you eat it, after a few seconds it would give you a random devil fruit ability, and I mean any from zoan, paramecia, and logia. You cannot guarantee a certain ability as you could even get no abilities and just lose the ability to swim. The only limit is what the devil fruit power already has.

I had an idea for a logia fruit, the Earth-Earth fruit, which would allow you to create, control and become earth at will, so you could basically fire rocks at people or make rock fists or rock spikes that could also be coated in haki. I think this fruit would be very overpowered too because of the fact that earth is basically everywhere around you in the one piece world, so you could make the whole area around you your own battlefield to use against your opponent, and also you obviously gain the abilities of a logia where you cant be hit unless you use haki, so overall I think the Earth-Earth fruit would be a solid fruit in One Piece as well as being a very strong and versatile fruit. It's like Whitebeard's fruit but with added logia benefits 😅😅😅

These are all interesting devil fruit ideas. I have one too. I've been thinking about a GLASS-GLASS FRUIT with that ability you can create and manipulate Glass. Since Glass is produced by using heat, you can heat up your created Glass and imitate some other Devil fruit powers. Also, you can shatter the glass to cut your enemies. You can create a lot of useful items with that power. And since glass is created by using a certain type of sand you could touch sand and create a big area of Glass to use for combat. The durability of the created Glass could be linked to your physical health. If you're super fit and healthy your Glass will be super hard and wont break easily.
Also,glass is technically a very viscous liquid in room temperature,but flows so slow that it can be used like a solid,so you could mold it however you want

yo i just realised how op the time time fruit is. Like imagine this ability given to an op gun user like ben beckman or yasopp they would be shooting basically an infinite amount of bullets and speed them up as much as they want. Plus they also would perceive time outside their bubble as slower which combined with observation haki makes you a near god like sniper.

How about the Mythical Zoan Chimera-Chimera fruit. It let's you transform into any animal (normal and ancient),(the unawakened form), but only one at a time. Awakening: you can combine up to 3 animals into one transformation taking both positive and negative attributes.
I had a few ideas.
Me Me fruit: Anyone you touch turns into an exact replica of you under the original's control. Seawater turns victims back to normal.
Friend Friend fruit: Hug a person to mentally replace their most respected friend or ally. For example, hugging Zoro would replace Luffy with you in his mind.
People with strong enough minds, or multiple bonds, can reason their way out of control.

I had an idea that’s kind of a fusion of 2 existing fruits: the Dessert Dessert Fruit: a special Paramecia, that allows to transform into, generate and manipulate an ice-cream like substance (Mochi Mochi + Cold Cold).
The user’s body and the substance solidity depends on the surrounding temperature.
In a warm environment, the user and their ice cream will be melted, becoming similar to soft serve. This form allows for great mobility and nimble movement, as well as melting through gaps and crevasses.
Whereas in colder climates, the user and their ice cream are much more solid, like compact ice or crystal. This may offer both greater offence and defence, with the sacrifice of speed and ease of movement.
Awakening would allow the user to turn their surroundings into ice cream and dessert themed constructs. A portable Wholecake Island wherever you go.

Would love to see a Paper Paper Fruit. A user having perfect mental control over Paper could go crazy especially Paper infused with Haki. User could also have a motif of origami since we already have cards with Hawkins and a fruit already for books

I thought of a fruit where you could control someone and you could manipulate their body this fruit would be called puppet puppet fruit
Warp warp fruit:
This fruit gives you 100 points daily you can stack the point until u reach 1000 points.
This fruit allows u to do whatever you want but every action takes a certain amount of points for example getting a speed or strength boost could be between 1 and 10 points whilst granting yourself a weapon could be like 20 to 50 points depending on the weapon and a type of power could be between 90 or more points but these abilities and weapons you get can only last one day but with the use of points the duration of the thing granted by the points can increase.
Awakening:
Point storage as well as amount of points received daily increases. User is also able to keep powers and weapons for an extended period of time without spending points to keep them around but can still spend points to increase duration of the things u gained with the points.
Gonna have to change that name. Van Augur already has warp warp

I got an idea,
Chance Chance Fruit:
The user is able to manipulate probability and luck at will.
The Devil Fruit ability works passively as it grants the user eternal high luck so the user have a very high chance of escaping certain scenarios that could have the user killed. (randomly falling over when a gunshot is fired, dodging it, unknowingly getting out of a way of a falling object.)
The power also transfer some luck onto anyone close by.
(No matter if it's an enemy or ally)
This already exists in a way, it is shown in One Piece Film Gold

Cyborg Eye can know anything about the person you fight with and make a cyber punch can only do one person at a time.
Robot Eyes: Have super IQ and x ray vison.
Cat Eyes: You can see in the darkness only at night and have sharp claws like a cat.
Lizard Eyes: Have Lazer focus Eye sight see far away and climb on walls.
Goat Eyes: you can scream and make a goat no noise and make every body in your range and turn into a big goat like choppers monster point.
Red Eyes:Have Lazer eyes and Fly.
Purple Eyes:Can manipulate people to do what ever you tell them to do.
Inner Glow Eyes:Mix every ability to create a big orange ball like a sun and make a big explosion

I what to know
How about the plastic plastic fruit? It works like the mochi fruit. But you can also seal everyone in an air tight capsules or create many different objects from plastic. It does sound a little strong and if used to a strong character it would be really destructive remember katakuri.
I would love to see some sort of Bear-Bear fruit
Its probably too late but I have a fruit idea that I think would be fun, a Paramecia devil fruit that is based on insanity / madness. Basic abilities would include making people around you have hallucinations, shattering a person into a several personalities that are elements of that person's normal personality that then have to fight for control of that person, degrading your opponents memory, or temporarily afflicting your opponent with various other forms of madness. The major downside is the more you use the fruits powers the more your mental state deteriorates, but the stronger your abilities get. So if the wielder went fully into madness they would have near limitless power but wouldn't be able to recognize friend from foe or totally forget who or why they are fighting and might even be fighting figments of their own imagination. The awakened form of the fruit would project your mental scape onto a large area around you changing what was just a hallucination before into an actual physical thing and / or bending the rules of physics / other systems based on how crazy / what kind of crazy you are at the moment. I should also point out that all effects of this fruit are temporary - both on the wielder and their opponent, though the wielder would always be at least a little crazy. Other non-combat abilities could include helping someone else by breaking their mind into various components so they can deal with a negative aspect of themself more directly, permanently taking madness away from another person, or projecting a calm and peaceful mental scape on the area around them if the wielder is in a excellent mental state at the moment. I think this fruit also adds a lot of really cool story telling options, like the wielder's growth as a person directly being their power up system or if a good guy the wielders friends / crew being people that can bring the wielder back from the madness or if the wielder is a villain the madness could make them super compelling/tragic and unpredictable (look at Batman's nemesis the Joker, one of the most iconic villains of all time).
