I think it would be interesting if Law's devil fruit's immortality surgery is something that requires awakening the fruit to do, and then the reason the user dies is because it takes so much of the users concentration and time while awakened that they die as soon as it's finished or swiftly after performing it.
@NotAGoodUsername360 I'm not sure where you're getting that from? What I was saying is that it would be something interesting if it turned out that one of the requirements for the surgery is that the user has already awakened and is in the awakened state at the moment of the procedure. Then, the surgery is so intensive or takes so long that it's not even necessarily the power it takes to make someone immortal but the length and/or concentration needed to do the surgery that kills them.
@@cassandrafiscus9192 he means that if the surgery doesn't necessarily "kill" the user, then maybe a previous much more powerful user performed the immortality surgery on more than one person
@dawnh Ooooh, thanks for explaining! Yeah, hypothetically if the user is powerful enough I suppose this theory could mean someone could use it multiple times.
maybe you can perform the immortality surgery in the base form, but after mastering the awakening, it dispels the curse of death after you perform it. That would be insane

Sooooo person with a degree in physics here. I'm not sure how electromagnetism works in the fictional One Piece world, but you said lightning has nothing to do with the magnetic fruit. In real world physics, all moving electric charges produce a magnetic field. This means that they can apply a magnetic force on magnetic objects and magnetic objects can apply a force on them. Since lightning is a moving electric charge, it should affect and be affected by magnets. Also a changing magnetic field can create an electric current, so in theory if we could completely control the magnetic field at each point in space and have some oscillating values for the field strength at each point in space, we may be able to create an effect similar to lightning
I don't have any sort of degree but I love to marvel at the absurdity of physics; In my layman understanding, does this mean Kid could potentially create some sort of global tesla pole ray gun? He can assign and manipulate magnetic fields, so could he manipulate the electric current in those?
@@gurururuwarararara8164 I believe those work with Tesla coils, right? If so, I don't see why something similar can be build and have it be powered by Kidd's power. Tesla coils work with multiple electromaganets and capacitors creating an alternating current. KIdd's powers could, in theory, mimick the changing magnetic fields of all the coils (or even just one as the changing magnetic field from one coils will wirelessly transmit energy to another coils via magnetic fields. So if such a devise is built, Kidd could power it. And, we could probably simplify the design to create a devise with a similar effect but where Kidd would need to consider emulating multiple electromagnetic sources (or maybe just bypass that step with the emulation of one amplified electromagnetic source). The thing to realize is that electric and magnetic forces tend to be seen as the same kind of force in physics where electric fields and forces deal with static charges and magnetic fields and forces deal with moving charges and, often times, whether a charge is seen as static or dynamic depends on your frame of reference (i.e. if you place a charged sphere in a moving train, everyone in the train would view the sphere as stationary and experience an electric field and forces, but everyone standing still outside of the train would perceive magnetic fields with magnetic forces and view all the electrical interactions in the train as magnetic interactions). This is why scientists just call those forces electromagnetic forces as a way to show that electric and magnetic phenomena are basically the same phenomena, just from different points of view.
@FunkeyPhysicsMonkey Wow, this was informative, thanks! I think Kidds abilities have been slept on too much by both Oda and the community at large, I'd love to see him return in the future with something akin to this expertise of his own abilities (especially considering his awakening)
@@Acoustic_Screecher Lightning takes the path of least resistance, but it happens really fast (too fast for real world reaction time, but maybe not too fast for One Piece). Since lightning produces a strong magnetic field, if Kidd produced a magnetic field before (or during) a lightning strike, he would be able to add resistance to certain potential paths through magnetic force (that would resist the magnetic field that the lightning produces), so yes, in theory, Kidd could alter/control the path of least resistance (he should also be able to create paths that reduce the total resistance).
I know it wasn't confirmed or anything but it's hard to believe whitebeard not having an awakened devil fruit. Plus if we use the logic that awakened paramecias allow the user to imbue it's power into objects, WB definitely did that on marineford with his sword (very similar to law) but yeah just a thought. Great vid as always!!
Hihi love the idea. Tho I start wondering if English is the only language where a moustache isn't a beard. Japanese and German qualify it as a beard at least.
This is the type of thinking that should be agreed upon and accepted worldwide until debunked, and not the other way around because it's logical. People who are always skeptical to go against that train of thought literally lose nothing. These types of just make the story more amazing in hindsight and people don't realize that. I agree with you because i also think Brook and Bonney are 100% awakened. Brook's DF is to literally revive HIMSELF but in Whole Cake he fought homies, who are animated by.... souls so he literally REVIVED those souls inside. Bonney's DF is to age HERSELF but we clearly saw she can age OTHER people AND objects, she's clearly affecting OTHER THINGS besides herself.
5:57 as a physicist, I think Oda used lightning in a spiral pattern on Kidd's fruit to represent a pretty standard relationship between electric current and magnetic field. A solenoidal ("spiral-like") electric current produces a magnet dipole, like your usual bar magnet.
Isn't that shape just meant to maximize the amount of current you can flow through an axis to create a dipole of high and lower charged areas? Like an electromagnetic pressure field?
imagine that Kids ultimate awakening makes the magnetism strong enough to match the earth.. He taps you, says "south" and then you just get flown to the north pole
A south magnetism will be repelled by Earth's north pole because Earth's north pole is actual magnetic south pole. That's why a magnet's north pole will point toward Earth's north pole. Btw, Earth magnetism is very weak, can't even hold up to a fridge's door.
Chopper becomes smaller after the rumble now because he changed the rumble ball. Ceasar gave him advice on how he could upgrade the rumble ball. It gives him 30 minutes of his beast form instead of 3, but he becomes smaller as a result.
I want to bring up that Paramecia fall into four groups - Bodily Alteration - Environmental Manipulation - Substance Generation - Special (a random combination of 2 of the previous groups) and from what we see - Doflamingo is a Substance Generator...and Katakuri is a Special, who has the traits of Bodily Alteration & Substance Generation...thereforce, Substance Generation paramecia can transform their environment into that substance - Law, Tesoro, Bullet & Kidd all fall under Environmental Manipulation...and all their awakenings extend the range of their abilities in some way, whether it be literally giving them more range, or whether it be letting them use their power is a more versatile manner and to bring up Luffy's fruit...while not a paramecia, mythical zoans seem to draw traits from all devil fruit types but his power would fall under bodily manipulation...but as we see with Katakuri's fruit that holds those traits...we can guess that Bodily Alteration & Substance Generation both when awakened will let the user alter their environment edit: recent change to that final part, after careful research...it seems bodily manipulation paramecia awakenings allow the user to imbue said properties onto their environment, as Luffy isn't turning the environment into rubber, he's imbuing it with the properties of rubber
exactly as abmstudios said in another reply...Buggy's fruit falls under bodily alteration, which would classify his awakening to alter his environment to replicate his powers so...he can basically make his surroundings immune to slashes@@dannyg4835

(long time fan, first time commenter) This video really got me thinking about awakenings, DF users' perceptions of themselves, and their awareness/understanding of the world in which they exist. To this end, while it's interesting to note there are no confirmed awakened logia users, I think Crocodile may in fact be awakened. Let me explain: During the Alabasta arc, he's framed as a talented strategist who has chosen the perfect location to utilize his innate abilities to the fullest: in the desert, of course. But I can't think of another time in the series when a logia user is able to manipulate a naturally occuring element, even one they have an affinity for! Of course they can manipulate what they conjure, but it would be different if we saw Aokiji manipulate a drifting iceberg on the sea, right? This was kind of just a passing thought I wanted to share! Halfway through the video, however, Liam mentioned the awakened zoan guards from Impel Down - ONLY Crocodile seemed to know what an awakening was, and immediately identified the guards as awakened zoans. (I think it explains a lot of other things about his character/feats in-verse, but I gtg to work. This was a fun video, glad I tuned in!)
did Crocodile really manipulate the sand around himself? I can't really remember. But i think he isn't the only one. Remember how Eneru used the clouds created by his ark maxim to create that super island busting lightningball thing?
I always thought about this too. Especially since Crocodile also had an extra ability in addition to the usual "turn into and generate element" of logias, being his desiccation ability, drying and turning things into sand. Since Crocodile is still a major character and will be showing up again, we may get some confirmation on this yet.
My theory is that Kizaru has awakened his fruit, and the awakening has to do with him having offensive abilities. In my theory, the pika-pika-no-mi was a logia fruit that only creates light (besides making you invulnerable to attacks like other logia). Although, it doesn't have the ability to damage anything. It's just good old light. Awakening it however makes the user able to concentrate the light into laser beams that can blow stuff up. So any normal pika-pika-no-mi user would appear to be the owner of the weakest logia fruit (besides the fact it allows you to move at light speed of course), but since Kizaru awakened it, it's now among the strongest ones, given how he can shoot a laser beam out of his finger and create a nuke-like explosion.
Hopefully next week we see all five Gorosei in their monster forms. I'm definitely curious to see what a Logia awakening looks like. It'll probably be unique to the user itself.
It's likely that most awakenings of that type would change the weather to suit their fruit Magna Power would turn an island volcanic Though not sure what light would do for an awakening as I can't really imagine during the weather to just light everywhere
I mean IMO, Enel seems pretty awakened. The amount of lightning he can produce and range he can send his lightning is larger than any non-awakened Logia we've seen
My theory of how people awaken their fruits (or atleast zoans) is partially to do with seimei kikan (return to life). Which is the technique cypher pole members use, mainly kumadori was shown utilising it to manipulate his hair. Kaido stated that devil fruit awakens happen when a users mind and body catch up to their fruit so the control over your body to the cellular level would fit that description. It would make sense how both kaku and Rob lucci where able to awaken so quickly because they already know seimei kikan and lucci’s awakened form is even in his slimmer seimei kikan form and not his usually buffer form. Kaido who I do think is awakened also displayed seimei kikan traits with the manipulation of his body such as the different drunk forms he had and mimicking luffy’s snake man python technique (which is also similar to kaku’s square body manipulation by seimi kikan). We see luffy before he awakens gear five being able to switch between gear fourth variations at will which displays a level of body control reminiscent of seimei kikan (even snakemans redirection of his python attack is potentially the same technique and is something that Kaido commented on too). The second thing stated to cause awakenings is a near death experience or having your back pushed up against the wall which is kind of how Doflamingo explains it (and luffy got that). And then after he awakened gear fifth he could freely control his body at will to inflate on command, increase his muscles form and even manipulate his own hair (which is what we’ve seen seimei kikan users do themselves). Also another theory I have is what awakened fruits do. I think a fruit type will mimic another fruit type. Paramecia mimic logia abilities Logia’s mimic zoans And zoans mimic paramecia’s. Luffy literally stated when Doflamingo started show his awakening that his fruit was acting more like a logai’s. Logia’s I think may mimic zoans since characters like karasu can create animals out of their element which can seemingly act independently on their own, same for kizaru making clones of himself from his light. We’ve also seen Akainu make dogs, aokiji make a pheasant and enel take on a zoan-like transformation against luffy. And then zoans themselves seem to either gain a physical buff or a unique new ability. (I still think Kaido’s flame dragon form was apart of his awakening)
I've always thought that Crocodile's power to dessicate things he touches, including preventing an entire nation from experiencing rain, was an awakening ability.
With how minor Chihuahua is drawn or shown he seems to have gotten a 80%success. So minor Chihuahua may be shown/drawn to slowly gain its( at this time mino Chihuahua is still a failed awakening) intelligentce,/ conscious back.
Liam, Kid's Power has everithing to do with eletricity. Magnetic fields ARE eletric fields, even in The scene that you showed of him using his Power against big mom He was creating a bunch of lightning all over The place lol
I miss pre-time skip Monster Point, he was so scary in that form, the new Chopper is a little to cute for my taste, I liked that he could be cute and monstrous at the same time
Is Yamato an awakening user? I'm saying this because she is a zoan type and has the appareance of an awaken fruit. I know she has a mytical zoan; therefore, it could be that the reason of why she looks differents from a common zoan user. However, Kaido is also a mytical zoan but he doesn't have awake his fruit.
I still believe that Sengoku might be an awakened fruit user. Cause this guy is a little bit too old and too smart to just rest on his golden statue laurels. And he just didn't display it because of the pre-timeskip.
Since it's mostly confirmed that devil fruits have some level of "will", it won't be surprising to learn that all the powers match their users very well only because the fruits chose to appear next to a fitting person to use them
@@Smurky340she is not. Because Oda released Road to Laugh Tale and confirms which DF is awakened. He didn't confirm Kaido as awakened, let alone Yamato
The fact we don’t have an awakened logia yet makes me think it’s something that’s going to come later in the series. It’s already the mightiest class of devil fruits and I’m curious to see how they work for logia
I would say Chopper is 100% awakened because he has more than 3 forms. I think that is the threshhold for a Zoan type. All the other Zoan users we see have 3 forms except for that weird elephant sword. The awakened ones all have 4 or more forms to go into. Chopper is in double didgits I think. I also thought it was implied that the two admerals were awakened users because they perminantly altered the environment of the Island they fought on.
Granted the idea for Re-Room was inspired by Rosinante, I'm sure Law realized that his static "Room" needed to be more mobile, hence his awakened Remote-Room.
While I kind of doubt it, I want Crocodile to retroactively be an awakened fruit user. Specifically, his abilith to absorb and destroy moisture would track really well as an awakened ability, but it could also just be part of the standard power set.
I dont really comment much but mate, your tangential, off-the-wall remarks are why you are one of my favorite one piece guys on here. Im ESL but I regularly get emotional and linguistical whiplash from your way of lateral thinking and I love every second of it. Also, Bad One Gracie sounds like he has the quintessential american devil fruit. Also also, if Chopper's Monster Point being an imperfect awakening would imply that he loses himself to humaity and it ...sort of makes sense. It doesnt really explain his increase in size and body hair because those are two things humans are typically not known for but it does account for the crazy endurance and the ability to shrug off most things and keep going that Monster Point Chopper is infamous for. We modern humans descend from pursuit predators. Its a disgusting and terrifying concept, look it up. But if these are the aspects Monster Point chooses to enhance and capitalize on, then Chopper scaling Enie's Lobby while being able to pinpoint other living beings makes perfect sense. The sheer size, the extra hair and the lacking ability to distinguish friend from foe sound more like a wendigo to me but, well, thats just me and they can easily enough be explained away on the grounds that this was a forced, imperfect awakening. But if you think about where humans come from, that failed awakening was plenty human. As for the "turning into an elder" thing - Luffy did the exact same after he over exterted himself on Gear 3. And Gear 3 runs on cartoon physics at least in part so I consider it a partial awakening. So its kinda the same thing. You overdo it, your body just nopes out and turns you into an elder for a while until you recover.
String to make a copy of you actually makes sense. If you can get the tensile strength where it holds then you could layer it accurately and compress it kinda like 3D printing, and since it is his string he has complete control over its movement.
So I think that awakening a devil fruit is the user subconsciously putting their own will upon the fruit so it gives them techniques/forms unique to them. So if two people ate the same fruit and gained the same powers, their awakenings would be completely different.
I’m almost certain Megallan’s fruit is both a special paramecia, and awakened. In impel down we saw bullets fly straight through his body, as they would Katakuri’s. Also his venom demon form where he turned red made everything he touched venomous, which would be an awakened ability.
I think we have seen logia awakenings: Enels thunder god form Crocodiles ability to suck (crocodile has been said to have mastered his DF making this more likely) Also a paramecia: Magellan from impel down with his transformation
I have this weird feeling that chopper's devil fruit is a lot more important than what it seems, like luffy level important, and I always love to see it in action.
The Giraffe fruit might have seemed like a joke at the time, but it's actually really fitting for Kaku. A giraffe can kick the head off of an attacking lion, and doesn't he specialize in kicks to begin with?
Kind of surprised you didn't mention Yamato, I don't believe it's stated directly that her fruit is awakened but she has the same White Cloud draping that the good guy zoan Awakenings have
Who's Who's hybrid form looks like the Jailer Beasts, but given what we've seen since, it's possible he's not awakened and has just "mastered" his fruit, meaning he can control what parts of him transform, I guess.
Although it has yet to be confirmed, I'm pretty sure Kaido and Yamato also have awakened their devil fruits. Both also have that cloud-like ribbon around them.
Surprised you left out Crocodile. Back in Alabasta he admitted to Luffy, during the second round of punch fighting, that his powers had awakened and it allowed him to take the moisture out of anything his hand(forget which one he stated) touched.
What about kaido his base fruit was I believe the carp fruit or something so he swam up a waterfall and awakens his dragon fruit (to sum it up to the degree of my knowledge
It seems like awakening gives access to the full potential of the DF, but it's possible to use awakening features to the lesser extend before proper awakening. Just look at Luffy, his gears are beyond something a simple rubber body should be able to do, like gear 3rd was supposed to be inflated bones, but the damage it causes is higher than a balloon should do, it's like he really turns parts of his body into ones of a giant and now we know that Nika can turn himself into a giant, it fits too perfect ;p Or his Python in the Snakeman form, it breaks the laws of physics and logic.
Luffy also used to shrink after gear 3rd similar to Chopper does overusing monster point/drugs. And both have models of the human human fruit. So maybe a good comparable point for Chopper's DF mastery is Luffy during Ennis Lobby. Gear 3 was very wacky and a little more toonforce-ish than gear 2. People were shocked there was mass behind the balloon attacks. so i think was Luffy also partially awakening or taping into awaking skills.
Unless this was an Anime error, I feel like everyone missed Kaido's 3rd form. He used two different man-beast forms during the fight with Luffy. They look very similar to eachother, but were different. Most obviously his eyebrows.
Kaido obviously Awakened his Devil Fruit otherwise his fruit would be called Dragon Dragon Fruit if it was an unawakened Dragon Fruit, and it wouldn't be labeled as a Fish Fish Devil Fruit.

I once saw someone say Karasu (from the reolutionary army) was also an awakened logia user who's enhanced ability was to give "life" or "consciousness" to his soot base powers. This also explains how Akainu and Aokiji have these attacks that turn their elements into animals. But again, this is all speculation, but i still dig the concept.
I always thought about Kidd being wasted potential purely based on the fact a strong gravitational/magnetic field would effect the ocean and he’s basically a living log pose which neither were touched on at all
i would argure that Whitebeard had some sort of awakening himself - at least at the battle of Marineford. After he had given Akainu a gentle massage down into the ground, he had split Marinefod in two. and then he grappled (?) with his fingers into the air, twisted his hands and pulled the broken fragments of that island into different directions. maybe i´m wrong about this, but Whitebeard hadn´t used earthquakes to move the "tectonic plates" of the broken island but pulled them just by zwisting his fingers in the air above them.
Kidd really should be able to manipulate the metals within each human. If he could group them into a size of a tiny pea, he could shoot around and tear up the insides of any opponent.
I was thinking. If you can awaken the Devilfruit to get there full potential, maybe on the highest level you can tap into the concept of Develfruits. The Elder Stars can regenerate and what else can regenerate? Devilfruits. After the user dies or the fruit goes bad, it simply regenerate. Maybe that's the source of there regeneration.
I have to say you may be wrong about Kid's Devil Fruit. He more than likely produces electromagnetic fields to pull in metals and create the energy shot he got Big Mom with. He isn't just a magnit. That's probably why there is lightning wrapping around the fruit. Also a magnit can't increase it magnetism by itself. It needs a form of energy. Aka electricity.

Correct me if this sounds stupid, but does this mean that you should be able to change the direction of lightning with a strong enough magnet?
His awakening was marked by his ability to call a mustache a beard and have everyone accept it. Wild I know, I thought it was haki at first too.
Hihi love the idea.
Tho I start wondering if English is the only language where a moustache isn't a beard. Japanese and German qualify it as a beard at least.
His awakening might of just been that tilting the seas and tectonic played we saw him do when he fought John the giant.
@@fabiankohring1440 never knew that thanks
Earth has the weakest magnetic force
While true, the one piece planet is almost certainly not Earth@@quasarier_69
A south magnetism will be repelled by Earth's north pole because Earth's north pole is actual magnetic south pole. That's why a magnet's north pole will point toward Earth's north pole.
Btw, Earth magnetism is very weak, can't even hold up to a fridge's door.
@@jonreaves8386 It doesn't matter. We know it is weak because the planet does not exert a noticeable attractive force on metal.
Curious as to how saying South would send anyone to the North Pole instead of the South Pole 😂
For kid, i think people forget that everything has a magnetic field that one can exploit
But to exert a very strong force on paramagnetic and diamagnetic material, Kidd will have to work 1,000,000x harder.
Chopper becomes smaller after the rumble now because he changed the rumble ball. Ceasar gave him advice on how he could upgrade the rumble ball. It gives him 30 minutes of his beast form instead of 3, but he becomes smaller as a result.

I want to bring up that Paramecia fall into four groups
- Bodily Alteration
- Environmental Manipulation
- Substance Generation
- Special (a random combination of 2 of the previous groups)
and from what we see
- Doflamingo is a Substance Generator...and Katakuri is a Special, who has the traits of Bodily Alteration & Substance Generation...thereforce, Substance Generation paramecia can transform their environment into that substance
- Law, Tesoro, Bullet & Kidd all fall under Environmental Manipulation...and all their awakenings extend the range of their abilities in some way, whether it be literally giving them more range, or whether it be letting them use their power is a more versatile manner
and to bring up Luffy's fruit...while not a paramecia, mythical zoans seem to draw traits from all devil fruit types
but his power would fall under bodily manipulation...but as we see with Katakuri's fruit that holds those traits...we can guess that Bodily Alteration & Substance Generation both when awakened will let the user alter their environment
edit:
recent change to that final part, after careful research...it seems bodily manipulation paramecia awakenings allow the user to imbue said properties onto their environment, as Luffy isn't turning the environment into rubber, he's imbuing it with the properties of rubber
Hmmm
Its a question that has been made a long time ago but
What if buggy awakens?

exactly as abmstudios said in another reply...Buggy's fruit falls under bodily alteration, which would classify his awakening to alter his environment to replicate his powers

Sukuna’s World Cleave from JJK but on the level of One Piece. Chop Chop applied to others and the environment. That’s what I’d say anyway.
So what you're saying is that Smoker is more likely to awaken his logia than other logia fruit users, just based on his being beaten so often and thus, having to push past his limits to make up for it?
...having him return as an awakened Logia user may help his stocks rise quite a bit. I could see this. Great idea.
Actually re-room is also part of Law's awakening, he's able to send out a room and use his named attacks despite being outside, it's what he did vs bb it's dummy strong
You know I’m obsessed when I’m routinely this early
Luffy was able to do strange things with his devil fruit even before awakening. If I remember correctly at one point he lights his fist on fire and fire punches hody...while underwater. Sure you could just say it's manga logic but in hindsight it lines up perfectly with great 5th.
Oh that’s true, he was tapping in but hadn’t mastered the awakening yet. lol that was just the bond between brothers what are you talking about.
You realize the fire that happened with luffys punch is because of his devil fruit right? Him and others think it’s the bond between brothers but it’s his devil fruit, always has been. Just like kaidos statement of “rubber shouldn’t have those properties” @@jaimehquirarte5064
Although it's weird that it happened under water, I think it's probably just friction combined with the heat of Gear 2. Let me explain:
During the Alabasta arc, he's framed as a talented strategist who has chosen the perfect location to utilize his innate abilities to the fullest: in the desert, of course.
The Aokiji and Sakazuki are more than likely as well, remember Punk Hazard?
How else could they alter the enviroment in such absurd way.
11:30 That's the type of quality joke I'm coming here for 😂😂
Hopefully next week we see all five Gorosei in their monster forms.
Paramecia mimic logia abilities
Logia’s mimic zoans
And zoans mimic paramecia’s.
I've always thought that Crocodile's power to dessicate things he touches, including preventing an entire nation from experiencing rain, was an awakening ability.
tldr: the awakenings are whatever the plot needs them to be to write another episode.
I love that theres always a fresh video to watch while sipping my morning coffee.

The connection is probably Ungulates, rather than Ruminantes
Is Yamato an awakening user? I'm saying this because she is a zoan type and has the appareance of an awaken fruit. I know she has a mytical zoan; therefore, it could be that the reason of why she looks differents from a common zoan user. However, Kaido is also a mytical zoan but he doesn't have awake his fruit.
Nice best most fun videos ever you rock GLR
If we're taking the clouds around the shoulders as a signature of zoan awakenings then Yamato might also have an awakened zoan as well

I still believe that Sengoku might be an awakened fruit user. Cause this guy is a little bit too old and too smart to just rest on his golden statue laurels. And he just didn't display it because of the pre-timeskip.
Yup there’s absolutely tons of characters with awakenings we haven’t seen yet/aren’t confirmed to be
Since it's mostly confirmed that devil fruits have some level of "will", it won't be surprising to learn that all the powers match their users very well only because the fruits chose to appear next to a fitting person to use them

I can almost guarantee that Big Mom buffing herself into GigaGranny was one of her awakened abilities.

The way awakened Zoan influence the user helps explain why Luffy laughs uncontrollably when he awakens!
Always like when Liam does a devil fruit video 😁
Reminds me of his devil fruit encyclopedia video series ^^
While I kind of doubt it, I want Crocodile to retroactively be an awakened fruit user. Specifically, his abilith to absorb and destroy moisture would track really well as an awakened ability, but it could also just be part of the standard power set.
I lost it over the finger gun to hand gun part. Good lord
The phrase "The full potential of giraffe" now lives rent free in my head.
String to make a copy of you actually makes sense. If you can get the tensile strength where it holds then you could layer it accurately and compress it kinda like 3D printing, and since it is his string he has complete control over its movement.
I must say the comedy in your videos is pure gold
So I think that awakening a devil fruit is the user subconsciously putting their own will upon the fruit so it gives them techniques/forms unique to them. So if two people ate the same fruit and gained the same powers, their awakenings would be completely different.
I’m almost certain Megallan’s fruit is both a special paramecia, and awakened. In impel down we saw bullets fly straight through his body, as they would Katakuri’s. Also his venom demon form where he turned red made everything he touched venomous, which would be an awakened ability.
I think we have seen logia awakenings:
Enels thunder god form
Crocodiles ability to suck (crocodile has been said to have mastered his DF making this more likely)
Also a paramecia:
Magellan from impel down with his transformation
11:49 What if the personality of both devil fruit and it's user are same?

The stem of Kidd's fruit is for the electro magnetism aspect of the fruit. If his power had no electric capabilities how does he shoot a laser?
I have this weird feeling that chopper's devil fruit is a lot more important than what it seems, like luffy level important, and I always love to see it in action.
The Giraffe fruit might have seemed like a joke at the time, but it's actually really fitting for Kaku. A giraffe can kick the head off of an attacking lion, and doesn't he specialize in kicks to begin with?
Kind of surprised you didn't mention Yamato, I don't believe it's stated directly that her fruit is awakened but she has the same White Cloud draping that the good guy zoan Awakenings have

Imagine you eat a logia fruit and then fail in your awakening, so you're now a piece of ice, or a blob of magma just lying there, motionless.
What about kaido his base fruit was I believe the carp fruit or something so he swam up a waterfall and awakens his dragon fruit (to sum it up to the degree of my knowledge
Kaidos fruit was never confirmed to have awakened

Cant wait to see Buggy D. Clown to awaken his devil fruit and basically become Sukuna

i would argure that Whitebeard had some sort of awakening himself - at least at the battle of Marineford.
Kid's mastered awakening allows him to detect all magnetic fields which would make him a log pose that can even travel to Laugh Tale
Kidd really should be able to manipulate the metals within each human. If he could group them into a size of a tiny pea, he could shoot around and tear up the insides of any opponent.
Dude, this is One Piece, not Berserk. Oda would never be willing to draw something so gorey.
Kid is practically impervious to that one guy who uses light. And also that other guy who uses lightning as magnetism can redirect both.
13:41 Yeah, you also think Nika and humans are the same
I was thinking.
Currect me if I'm wrong but I think yamato is also a awakened devil fruit user because of the white thing around her.
Gear 4 Luffy also has the white thing around him. Is probably not exclusive to awakened zoan types.
@@karlos151 But the Gear 4 is clearly vapor, while Yamato's looks like something else.
