Misty, I use stitch and flip all the time and do what you did, add another line a half inch away even if they won't be used in the quilt I'm working on. I try to design a second quilt or wallhanging to use them up. Waste not, amiright? They could also be used in a clever backing.
This is just precious. I can see it using scraps as well. So many small pieces of fabric leftover that will quickly cut up into 1 1/2” strips. Going to try a really small,project.
How versatile this quilt could by. By changing the colors different holidays and different baby/child themed rooms. Or a fun picnic quilt with dark background.
Super quilt - just wish when drawing the diagonal line, something just slightly darker (I use a Frixion pen) so the line shows up better! Maybe it’s the white fabric on a white mat - not sure but I do think a different color mat would be more helpful especially for newer quilters!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not upset and it it worth the work but clearly didn't understand the fast comment. Lots of sewing, cutting, pressing, sewing pressing, and more pressing. Well, Miss Misty, you have the same exact type of nails that I do and I have done the same colors as you this week. I don’t know why, but this color pink just looks a little bit naughty to me and I really like it. Good job on this tutorial, that quilt is really special looking. I have a jar quilt that I’m working on right now so I’m not allowed to start another one, but that is a definite possibility for the future.
I really love seeing quilt patterns with solid color fabric. The print fabric don’t get me wrong are beautiful but sometimes a solid quiet quilt is great to have. I love this triple pinwheel pattern, it is a classic block and it is so versatile, Halloween color gradient!!❤❤❤ Thank you!
