, death
Watching the video just now I had the same Impression 0 she's a great host!
Yeah! A professional through and through.
She makes me smile all the way down. it's so great to see someone with this level of talent.
Memory Street = Best fucking song!
i agree
Her eyelashes shimmer like butterfly wings.
Going to see Margaret in Vancouver, BC in a few days. The new album, Echo the Diamond is much more of this goodness. The heavy, melodic guitar is her trademark. I can't wait!
Great session, what a voice, what a feeling going out from that enormous talent to a tiny Fender Champ... and come on... Cheryl Waters is amazing... this is the way of doing pro journalisme... Congrats to all!

This is art.
Memory Street is a song for the ages and I can't wait to see her and the band live. She's awesome!
She's awesome
I like her guitar sound.
I love Margaret. Just perfect.
Reminds me of the 90s in the best way possible.
She is awesome... Thanks KEXP
eff me, so little views, and such amazing music... cmon ppl, share it!
relax, bro. this upload is fairly new.
It's been a year and it still doesn't have many views XD
yeah, that is pretty crazy indeed. I was thinking about that.
What a talent. Love her voice. Raw x
hear, hear.
3 days to make an album that sounds this good? She's paying homage and then some to The Doors 7-day first album
Fantastic job Margaret!
Wow - that last song gave me chills. Margaret and band are so so good!
i want to jump into that guitar and start swimming in the waves of joy
When I first heard You & I on the radio it was totally a Elliott Smith light bulb going off in my head, but hearing this live rendition, there's a Prince swagger in the guitar and vocal for the verses that I didn't get, but dagnabit if I can't shake that impression as I listen to this ripping version.
I love this song, it just straight out rocks, And must be played loud! First heard it in Westchester on The Peak!
She is the real deal, can't wait to watch her career unfold! Incredible live performer, just saw her with her guitarist friend Julian Lage, their range and muscial and personal chemistry is breathtaking!
I love the growl of her voice and guitar! Rowr!
Catches my ear!!
The drummer guy is the humbliest lovely drummer I have ever seen!!! I really enjoy watch the way like he playing. Cool!
Counting all the days till your bayak
This is amazing. I actually saw her in person:)
Good songwriting.
Total jam. Keep on sister. I look forward to the next release.
Love everything. Voice, playing, songs.
She's a powerful singer and guitarist. Glaspy reminds me of John Lennon, a great singer and eccentric and idiosyncratic guitar player. Like him, she never overplays the instrument. Every voicing and lick matter.
Awesome. I could listen to this all day, man.
Great
Ridiculously good playing (and, of course, the compositions)
I'm fan. Saw you in Glasgow. These versions sound fantastic. X
I would like to hear her sing with Shakey Graves.
she's so incredible
me encanta su voz, great!
I fell in love too easily
extremely well-spoken
Margaret maravilhosaa 💚💙💛
Too good.
I like it
Can I like this again?
Ma che figata!
Her album is awesome. Love her voice and rockin' guitar.
hail from Brasil, this is so good !!
Que buens rolas
This girl is killer! LOVE her guitar tone, and her voice too! I just heard her the other day for the first time, but I became an instant fan. Thanks, KEXP!
She's pretty much indescribable, unique as f*ck for lack of a better term. I like her "I don't give a f*ck" attitude. Catchy songs as well. This is the essence of the old school punk bands from the 70's
After listening to the very different 2020 record, I like it too, but I hope she gets back to playing more guitar in future.
war is over.
Love u
the drummer is Clive Koch from "The end of the fucking world"
This is so good it makes my heart hurt.
such a cool voice! it really fits perfectly with the music they are killing the genre with
delicious voice, tones and rhythms = tubelicious
interviewer also played an Urru in the Dark Crystal
love the music and the lennon shirt
Have the album & really like it. Odd thing about the vocals - she sometimes pronounces "R" sounds as "W". A friend who is hard of hearing does the same, but Margaret clearly does not have that condition, so a mystery. Maybe that's the Red Bluff dialect.
I think Andy Shauf does it too
Andy shauff must have a speech impediment. There’s no way he doesn’t. I think mags has a little lisp type thing. Maybe. But singing is weird . Sometimes it comes out in strange ways that it doesn’t when you talk.
Shes great but the mic is clipping on her guitar. The sound guy should have caught that when they were recording.
Listen to her on the NPR set. Thats what her tone is supposed to sound like. That Danocaster into a vintage Fender tweed champ is amazing.
so glad I didn't scroll by
War is over if you want it
Hey, KEXP, thanks for letting me know who the editor is. And the camera operators. The engineer too. And the host. Really good to know. As i watched this I noticed that there was someone playing drums. Oh, and a bass player too. Wonder if they have names.
yup, she introduces them between songs though. really good to know
Too much soul
That's fucking raw! - Gordan Ramsey
her voice kind of reminds me of Kim Deal's. But it's still her own voice. Beautiful :)
Her guitar is causing the mic to distort or something. It keeps clipping when she hits bass heavy notes.
Yea i see she is using a little fender champ cranked and its somewhat supposed to sound like that, but the mic needs to have its input level reduced.
It doesn't sound that different here from the way it sounds on the record. I can't prove the mic isn't clipping, but whatever it is sounds good to me.
Guitar sound reminds me of Juliana Hatfield.
Bass a little heavy in this mix but I like it
Really unfortunate that they have to wear headphones on KEXP.
I am loving her songs and music, and I'm amazed by her voice, by how she has a lisp (w/r) when she sings, but not when she talks. It's so odd. She sings "pawade" instead of "parade."
Danocaster
very catchy without being sappy.
I effin love to hate math -_- hahaha, ugh
the vowel breaking is ruining it
How cool are you?... Tesla is my drummer....
this is aight. But it is SHITE compared to tiny desk
dammit, i wish someone would show her how to apply lipstick. her NPR session was just as bad. music is good i dig it but seeing something as like bad shaved eyebrows and you draw them in. uggh i wanna help but it hurts to see so now I'm like but why, like why
Ammon Atine have you ever thought that maybe she doesn’t give a fuck and knows her music has nothing to do with how she applies her god damn lipstick? Cheers man
heard that man, i can respect the don't give a fuck, still bought the album! lol cheers back to ya brother
