tifa living her best 3d model life
Im blown away by how much time and effort was spent for things like this in this game.
It's a shame they dropped Chocobo breeding and nerfed the racing, but all the effort they put into scenes like this, mostly makes up for it
@@Trojianmaru I never played the original FFVII, but if I recall correctly, I think the Chocobo breeding was mostly an endgame thing with the final goal being the Knights of the Round Summon Materia using a Chocobo that can run on water. Sooooo... maybe in part 3?

And unlike in the original, where he jumps to conclusions, he actually gives you a chance to prove Barret is innocent. (though I did kinda miss the feeling of being thrown into a prison. They change it so it's called a prison, but it's really just another lawless slum, like Lower Midgar.
To be fair, if you try to leave on foot, they basically tell you that it’s impossible. Even in the original the prison didn’t have bars. It was more no way you’d survive in the desert. Thus a prison without bars.
Because real men lose with grace. 💪🏼👑

@@lam9090 a 16 year old dating a 21 year old is fine. Also she kinda is, she kisses cloud in her Gold Saucer date and in the original she’s the only one that kisses cloud on the date.
Also it’s clear that she actually likes cloud given that she’s a bit flirty with him in Costa Del Sol asking if he likes her “bodacious beach bod” and the 3 star (best) response is to sarcastically say “yeah, Obviously” which she takes seriously. She also gets jealous when Tifa and Aerith go down to the beach and impress cloud with their swimsuits.
Not gonna lie, I was expecting Cloud to have a dance battle.

I love how there's absolutely amazing cutscenes like this for no reason, I was blown away. This game is incredible for all the spectacles like this scene. Dio's character design also looks amazing, he's hilarious.
This is like the perfect representation of people in musicals who all of a sudden know the lyrics and cheoreography 😂

Yuffie had thirst overload. Not the sort of thing you see these days. Girls literally passing because the guy they like is so hot. The most 90's/00's I ever seen. Never thought Yuffie would be the type of straight to look older men who look wrestlers.

It's so easy to forget that not only is Cloud only 21, but he (SPOILERS) was in a coma for 4 years, so mentally he's more like a 17 year old (same age as Yuffie) pretending to be some mature, experienced SOLDIER.
Plus, he left home at 14 and immediately joined Shin-Ra, so he never got to have much of a real childhood, outside of being a friendless loner in a small town.
@Trojianmaru Yeah, Cloud's pretty much an awkward teen with a jumbled memory. But I think he actually believes he made SOLDIER rather than pretending. It'll be interesting to see how they handle that in the final game.
@@Trojianmaru more spoilers (but come on it's a game from 1997) the coma thing is kind of weird because his memories did get mixed up with Zack who _is_ an adult, so in a sense he does have an adult's personality by the beginning of FF7? it's not like he pretended to be a 1st class SOLDIER, he really did believe he was

Yuffie oozes charisma in Rebirth, She's such a dork and rehearses all her intros so naturally she's ready for it the dance off the fainting was icing on the cake.
Yuffie is young(15 to 16) and she isn’t afraid to shy to show it. She is actually a very deep thinking girl and does know a what’s right or wrong. Look at how she come to Barrett’s defends even though they just only met and Barrett’s constantly treating her like a little gal(which she is)
@@meow7983 Yea I love that we got to see Yuffie's serious side before going in to this scene. The war forced her to grow up too fast but it makes those moments when her mask slips and you remember she's a kid that much more effective.
@@DayFul yes. You are correct. Underneath all that “Happy” gal lies a little gal that is afraid to lose what she just found and who is desperate to gain acknowledgment from the adults: especially Barret.
If you notice: Barrett actually treat Yuffie like a grown up Marlene and whenever he talks her her, he put on his Daddy cap. I myself is a parent so is damn obvious

Just dropping into a completely Flawless dance routine out or nowhere 😂 that was what cracked me up the most. They were just so ready to get into it at the drop of a hat (well, that and Yuffie's reaction to the almighty DILF)

Well…there’s a theory/conspiracy that FFX is like sort of a prequel to VII for years. Even Shinra from FFX2 is hinted to be President Shinra’s ancestor from the Shinra portrait in the lobby last game.

😂 Don't forget this came directly after walking through the ruins of Barrett's home town, and listening to his tragic backstory.
And THAT came right after watching the men in black cloaks, throw themselves off the bridge, and watching Cloud almost do the same. (also the part where Cloud almost killed one of them because he was hallucinating, and the doctor told him he was gonna lose his mind and become like them one day too)
This scene came after some of the most serious moments in the game 😂😂😂
There's a few serious moments like the ending, but it's mostly funny shenanigans. I bet the final game will be played more straight though.

I can understand that the materia that Caith Sith throws at Yuffie, in addition to the suit, also gives her certain abilities for choreography, but perhaps it would have been better if Tifa and Aerith had been enchanted with magic or materia in some way to know the whole dance like the rest of the girls who ask them to dance.
