@ninjaxz8... The conversion kit is specifically for Stan's Hub... You would have to contact Giant to see if they have a conversion kit for that particular hub.
So I used the flat side of a wrench on the slot, and warped the soft aluminum and the couldn't put the end cap on the axle anymore. I had to order a replacement axle. I recommend either the special tool, or to be very careful and use a wrench that is the exact width of the slot...
Where I live I can't find the kit to convert to 142x12. Can I use the same 10mm axle and machine the inner diameter to 12mm? Then machine new end caps ? What is the length of the 142mm axle ? Thanks for the help
4:33 you were using the drive side spacer to press against the bearing inner race and started tapping it. This damaged the bearing. You should use something bigger to tap the bearing outer race instead.

I would give Bontrager customer service a call to see if a conversion exist... 1-800-585-8735 Monday through Friday 8 am to 6 pm (CST).... also I would try calling the Trek Superstore in Kearny Mesa...I did a quick google search and I was not able to find such conversion kit..
