Great job, I think it would be a good idea to make a couple of rows of stitches to the waist band to lock the elastic in place so it won’t turn inside later on. I just do some sewing as a hubby and this is a good pattern for a beginner like me. Thanks

You can do that but you need to know that it will make it very difficult to replace the elastic in the future as it's hard to remove the stitches from the elastic.

You need about 1 yard of fabric to make a medium one.

As a beginner, this was somewhat frustrating to follow, since it's absolutely impossible to tell left and right side of your fabric apart with it being plain white. In the early steps of assembling the fly and ironing seams, you turn it around so much I ended up sewing things inside out and putting this entire project aside in frustration more than once. It would help to have a fabric where it's easy to tell which sides the of the fabric we're seeing, or maybe marking this intermediate (since someone more advanced will have less trouble picturing how stuff is supposed to go together).

Thank you! I eventually got it done, I just had to rewatch certain parts a couple of times. Despite my troubles, I like your pattern alot!

Much too much unnecessary footage and not enough detail about certain items such as making sure you leave an opening to insert the elastic.

I say in the video that you need to leave an opening for the elastic. As you said in this video I gave as much details as possible so the person sewing can make the boxers even if they are beginners.
