Quick sketch doesn’t mean fast but rather making decisions. That is brilliant! What a mind shift because quick sketching always meant Go Go Go to me. A scene like this with all the extreme angles , would have been very intimidating but you’ve broken it down so well. Cannot wait to try it.

In less than 10 minutes you managed to teach the essential points of an anchor and perspective. You had me in the first 4 minutes!

Totally love this one! Not only the sketching is loose the way you use the colours and the effects are amazing. Your explanations and way of tutoring is amazing, inspiring and exciting. Thnx.

Toby love this! I'm trying to loosen my colouring as well as my sketches, your stuff is exactly what I need. Thanks so much

This was a realky useful exercise in forcing yourself to get loose and make decisions with your sketching and watercolours Toby by only allowing 10 minutes for the whole process. This would make a good addition to your course (if not already covered in part 1). Must find ten minutes snd try it!

    Really enjoyed this.
Lately I've been doing more timed sketches. I've been trying 10min sketches. I find working in less time is producing a better result for me. There's little time to get tired and make mistakes like overworking.
    Really enjoyed this video

Hi Toby, loving all the content! Did you have anywhere, where you store the reference images? Just so they are a bit bigger to draw from reference? Cheers, Lee

At the moment I don't have anywhere specific... It's a work in progress, stick at the concept stage 🥴

Nice. I’m learning a lot, but for me the line between “loose” and “slovenly” is frequently crossed.
