I sampled Sauvage EDT and EDP in a department store earlier this year. I sprayed the EDT on one wrist and the EDP on the other wrist. After about 30 minutes the potency of the EDT had faded. I bet the early batches were amazing but I bet it’s been reformulated a couple of times.
Have to disagree. I think Sauvage EDP is better. The lavender note is deeper and more noticeable; and the soft vanilla in the base notes makes it even more appealing. EDP wins it for me; but I do wear the EDT more during the warmer times of the year.
I have Sauvage EDT and Bleu EDP and can vouch that both are solid scents.
Imma have to disagree with you my brotha edp is more versatile then edt. You can wear it day or night. And because of that added touch of sweetness it’s more appropriate for going on dates the ladies love it. It’s definitely not only for 30+ men. Guys in there 20’s can also pull off the edp it’s the better sauvage in my opinion. The best in the line most definitely.
He has the 2015 EDT version it's alot stronger .

EDT is probably more wearable.Edp more formal I assume.Only worn the EDT so far, wasn't totally pleased by how it smelt but it did catch people off guard.The come again? effect.Its only when they get the silage I did get some curious vibes.
Sauvage EDP is good
I have it and BDC EDP.. but always go back to BDC most of the time because it's so easy wear

My sauvage EDT does not project or last long... Why? :( Not even an hour.

I like the EDP, and I like EDPs more in general, the EDP lasts forever on me, more than 12 hours and I don't spray much
Lies. My edp only lasts 2-3 hours max. Then I can’t smell it

honestly i said whatever and bought them all because they all smell great and i love the line. I have to say the EDT is great but my nose likes the EDP a little more i tend to reach for that bottle alot more often and I have 200ml in both
Also have to make an effort to dress up abit.Dont expect much from your designer frag when you're going around in t shirt and shorts.T shirt or shirt with jeans and sneakers is fine.

Hey, I’ve been watching your videos for a long time. Do you mind review the calligraphy rose from Aramis again? Or if you could share some thoughts with me?
I have a 2018 version of 200 ml Sauvage EDT with batch code 8F02 and it turned out to be a dud. Neither projects nor lasts and the smell is gone in 2 hours. Now I'm hesitating to buy a new one as may be it's diluted even more. On the other hand, I have two EDP versions, 2018 and 2020 and both project at least 2 hours and last 6-7 hours on skin and I can smell even next day on clothes. I haven't tried the parfum version yet, but in my experience so far I like EDP hands down.
2020 Edt performance is miserable

@@deddyhaw1261 yeah I'm sure. It just wasn't a strong fragrance.. mediocre at best. Tried it against YSL Y and I couldn't smell sauvage

Edt always for Dior sauvage... Just got a batch from Sephora EDT , the check fresh date is manufactured September 2022 . Smells good like and lasts a good 8+plus hours for me
With the recent release of the elixir I've found that layering it with the edt with about a 1:1 ratio works 👍 great.
Elixir is amazing! Here’s what I do: I spray the Parfum on my chest, but I only apply 2-3 sprays of Elixir on my neck. The aromatic trail lasts all day!
Shower , EDT 3 sprays on neck ,1 behind each ear and 2 on chest and at the end of the day you can still smell it faintly after an active 10-hour day
I get more compliments with the edt.
Both sauvage edt , edp are awesome.

Does anyone know which (re) formulation EDP he is holding? I have the 2021 version and it sucks soooooo bad. It's just some bergamot with soap that is gone after 20 min! 🤷🏻♂️ Nothing like 2018 version or before.
I was thinking the same love the smell but isn't as strong as I expected but it may need to macerate

@@aarshsaraiya3654 the last bottle of sauvage EDT I owned before my recent purchase was from 2017 and 2019 I purchased a new Sauvage EDT in the not so far past 2022 and it's a beautiful sweet and fresh scent and what I don't like about the new bottle is that the new bottle is refillable so the top twists off exposing the EDT to the elements. But it smells amazing

EDP is better. I have 3 of them. More complex,more compliments. But after 2019 is reformulated Joy. Added isoeugenol, new formula. 2018 and 2019 is magic. Now is worse performance and less sparkly

@@daveshdev8780 I bought 200ml bottle from Macy’s about 5 months ago and the longevity is not there. It does smell great though. I just have to spray more or refresh after 2 hours.
I like Bleu de Chanel more than Sauvage anyway. But Sauvage EDP over Sauvage EDT, just in terms of scent. And Dior Eau Sauvage EDT (1966) over all of them. Sauvage is not a 10/10 or 9/10 in my book. Even BdC isn't. Dior Eau Sauvage EDT is a 10/10 classic masterpiece.
I view the EDP's of just about any Bleu/Blue fragrances as typically being more year round versatile than the EDT concentration. Its Bleu/Blue, so therefore naturally more appropriate to warm weather. The thicker, deeper EDP's extend the seasonal appropriateness. A Bleu/Blue EDT will struggle more in the cold weather.

I have both, they are identical. If anyone is trying to convince you otherwise it's just hype and nothing else. You can buy the 2011 only for bragging rights.

How to identify that whether the Dior Sauvage bought is real or fake one? What precautions do you take @JoyAmin while buying?
the boxes are different slightly, look for the barcode at the bottom being a different size than the original bottles. also the tube in the bottle is visible in most fakes and not visible in authentic sauvage bottles

Sauvage used to be a beast but now it's watered down sssso much that it doesn't project after 1st hour
Just bought some edp, projection for hours, even after i went to the gym. the scent is still on me from 9 hours ago. great stuff imo. don’t know where ur getting only 1 hour from.

I have tested all of them on separate days, I legit get a giant wiff of it every single time I leave my room and come back. All perform very well? Got them directly from Dior website or on the Macy’s VIP sale recently.

Hi Amin. I somehow feel I don't get to smell Sauvage after like 2-3 hours after spraying on skin or clothing. But many say it lasts easily 6+ hours. Is it so?

EDT is probably better as it’s fresher and more versatile. The EDP is more spicy, peppery and heavy... making it not quite as good for the warmer months.

200ml edp dries down to skin scent in just 15 minutes, so much pain spending that much money. Just got my edt today let's see how is it

@@TheAl0neShow this definitely happens with sauvage to me …Been wearing it months and after 30 mins the smell has gone … I thought I had a dodgy batch and then today a few hours after I put it on a shop worker said you smell so good what is that …. I was just happy that my bottle wasn’t dodgy
I found if I use another scent for a day or two then the sauvage comes back …. I guess going nose blind is real 🤷🏻♂️✌️🤷🏻♂️
