How to Stop Your Beagle Pulling on a Lead

Kellie uses the Rabbitgoo harness, and in this demonstration you’ll see how to use it. The idea is that the clip on the front is the correction. You can also clip it to the top of the harness as well, but Kellie only uses the chest link.
At the end of the demonstration you’ll see three client demonstrations. The first is a puppy. You’ll see how off balance he is but that’s the idea in the beginning. It is being off balance they don’t like and they stop pulling. The second video shows the same puppy after practice and rewards with treats when walking nicely.
The second client has an adolescent beagle. You’ll see the struggle he is having as an adolescent beagle has little to no impulse control. But this video shows that the beagle is starting to get it.
The third client, the beagle is around 8 years old. She has pulled on a lead all her life. Her owner was no longer walking her because she had caused her numerous shoulder and arm injuries. A couple days training on the harness and now Kellie’s client is over the moon with their walks. No pulling and walking has resumed as normal.

Hi Beagle lady , good video , loved your passage in The Beagle Handbook , I thought the person in the blue jacket was poor not letting the beagle sniff its the beagle walk not the owners , if you want to walk in a straight line without stoping you can do that on your own , surley when walking a beagle let them enjoy walking with you and sniff and stop and sniff some more , we have a 12 week old beagle Lola who walks in our front garden with her nose to the ground we both enjoy our time together,G
