  • This is the first time we have actually completed an SLK 350 Roof Lock cylinder leak repair with the cylinder and Hoses still connected to the vehicle's hydraulic system.
This makes our work a bit more complicated..... but overall it saves a lot of labour ($$ time ) as quite a few of the internal trim, panels, hose clips and brackets do not have to be removed.

Do you have an idea on cost to get the lock seals replaced as mine leaked and the roof wont work. Thanks you.

Its avbout a AU $300 Job to do on the car with the hoses still connected to the Pump. Much more expensive (time consuming) if you disconnect the hoses from the pump as there are lot of the internal panels and seating that need to be removed first.

Greg we only do the cylinders, we dont remove the vehicles trim and the cylinder and the hoses from the vehicle you will have to get a mercedes specialist to do that for you. There are a few good independent specialist on the Gold Coast look them up on the internet.

Yes that was the Idea Andrew, to get viewers to send their cylinders in to us for repair, why ? Because we are a business first Andrew so showing you how to repair it defeats our purpose. But Andrew, since we wasted your time, I will give you a Hint, if you search carefully on our youtube channel and the comments on this video you will find a video link that shows you just about everything.
