@@ezarate1011 it was already scheduled and shot/ edited over the last few weeks and I don’t have power/ internet so I had to let it air. Hurricane was pretty rough for the woodlands tbh, but it didn’t change anything about the content in this video. Thinking of doing a beryl aftermath video 🤔 to show what’s really happening, not what the news is portraying. Thoughts?
I live near the woodlands and I can't tell you that centerpoint did not properly prepare for this storm. When asked why, they responded that they didn't have an answer for that question. Centerpoint also doesn't provide updates, and when you to the website, it either says it's under maintenance or for some $ you can subscribe to receive exclusive updates. Pathetic
@@ezarate1011 man I feel your pain, seems like every storm we have issues with Entergy which is who most of Conroe has. Zero accurate updates and as of now I think they have yet to restore most of us due to a major plant being down. Definitely seems like they could’ve better prepared for this! Stay safe out there there in the mean time!
@@ezarate1011Majority of The Woodlands get electric from Entergy. During Hurricane Beryl, The Woodlands got power back relatively quick compared to other areas. My house lost power less than 2 days. Power lines in The Woodlands are buried so we did not have issues with falling trees which impacted power restoration.
Houston Ian's don't consider that Houston. Still, I agree, it is a paradise of a small city all it's own. I know it well. One of the best small towns, also, is Mont Belvieu, Texas where I reside. Two different animals, though.
@@JamesEdward-h4d yea the woodlands is technically its own township. And half of its postal zip code is spring, the other is Conroe. I gotta make the titles SEO friendly so any suburb I mention is “Houston” I don’t know the south well but I have great friends that live in Mont Belvieu! A lot of growth happening out there for sure
@livingnorthhtx yes indeed! I was loan officer then underwriter and back to loan officer last couple decades, and loved closing people who moved to The Woodlands. Am, yes, many were Spring. It's a goldmine for the small business and such a robust economy. City management is second to none anywhere. I'll be rutrning to real estate etc next year in the east. Lots of residential development growing at a steady pace in Cove, Mont. B, Winfree and Daytown. Lots of great land deals for a family wanting to build, and also your masterplanned. They are widening and improving roads, and the policing here is almost inimidating. They keep it so safe and friendly here. But your Woodlands..... yeah that is a diamond! Great video!
@@JamesEdward-h4d thank you sir! Appreciate the feedback and sharing your personal experiences. Feel free to reach out when you get back into the industry! I can keep you busy haha
The number one place to live for WHO (which group of ppl) exactly? Yall can have The Woodlands a thousand times over, I would never be interested in moving there. 😅
@@rook9309 great for families or great for anyone looking to live a peaceful life with beautiful surroundings and amazing/ convenient amenities . It was voted number one place to live a few times by niche.com It’s not for everyone and it definitely has its cons. Thanks for the comment!

The woodlands is so beautiful!
Agreed 👍 it’s a place of beauty
Uploading this after the hurricane is the type of self awareness I wish I had

@@semodadragon lol appreciate the comment. The woodlands is north of Houston and it’s awesome. Voted number one place to live a few times.
