  • The Woodlands TX is one of the best suburbs in the entire country! This video goes into detail about the 9 different villages that make up The Woodlands TX. We cover the amazing amenities that make The Woodlands TX so special, and dive into the 9 villages. The Woodlands TX is a 28,000 acre master planned community with 9 different villages. It started development in 1974, and all the villages are now built out.
    The villages are Grogans Mill, Panther Creek, Cochrans Crossing, Town Center, College Park, Alden Bridge, Indian Springs, Sterling Ridge and Creekside. Carlton Woods is also part of The Woodlands TX, a gated luxury section with private golf courses and clubhouses.
    All the villages have a range of home sizes and prices. Most villages have a mix of homes from $300k-$10M+. Many people ask which village is the best, but the answer to that questions varies based on the buyers needs.

    The Woodlands was initially planned and built by George Mitchell's Mitchell Energy and Development Corp, Not Howard Hughes.

    Woodlands is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! When I first moved here 10 years ago I thought I wanted to live there. I fell in love with East Shore. But we eventually got a home built in Richmond, Texas so we could be closer to Energy Corridor.

    My husband works for oxbow out there and there is talk of us having to move there.. would you say it’s best to rent for 6 months or so or to know the area better or jump into buying due to the market being competitive?

    • @livinginhtx
      @livinginhtx  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We find that between taking a preliminary trip and working closely with our team, usually clients even completely unfamiliar with The Woodlands are able to get up to speed quick enough to purchase and avoid the headache of leasing and moving twice. Fill this out and let’s connect.

    • @livinginhtx

      Grogans Mill is the oldest village, and closest to i45. There are more remodels there right now due to the age of the homes. Location is fantastic.

    The most OVERRATED suburb ever. Over crowded, crazy traffic, not much to do except eat and go to the tiny mall stuck in the 80's. People are snobs and over all it has has zero vibe and very generic place to live and work. Did I mention it's crazy expensive.? Avoid THE WOODLANDS.

    • @chrhadden
      @chrhadden 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      thats funny because that mall was built in 92
